Hi hello!! I have been working on some things the past couple weeks despite crazy shit going on. I'm pretty excited about them so thought I'd share. (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)

Been trying out some markers, different styles and experimenting with concepts I haven't tried much like text! (Totally not because it's required for this sketch book assignment or anything) But it ended up being kind of fun to do.

The markers did bleed with the pens I used unfortunately so I need to do marker first then pen but that was the point of that clown sketch so yay! Learning!!! ＼⁠(⁠°⁠o⁠°⁠)⁠／

Not me getting the art motivation bug back the first day of the semester. Something about an art history professor going on about anything that makes me want to draw.

We're so back.

Feels so good to draw again, for some reason I couldn't draw at all over the break. Probably because I've been stressed about a handful of things but ya. Hopefully I can post some things soon but that's a whole different kind of motivation itself.

But oh the ideas are flowing and the fear is subsiding and for the first time in a while I felt confident today.

Decided to, on a whim, rewatch all of doctor who. It's been a while since I watched a whole season consistently or anything.

I also thought, I was a pretty dumb kid, I didn't really understand everything that happened in the show. All of the sub text, the actual plot lines and long branching meanings of everything. I only had a grasp of a fragment of it all.

So it's time, yeah. There's also most of Peter Capaldi's season I haven't seen, and the doctors that followed him. I've always wanted to watch them all and catch up but never did bcs I didn't know what I remembered or where to start.

So I thought, fuck it. Start from the beginning. You don't remember most of it anyway. So here I am. Rose. May it bring comfort to my numb mind.

Even my wife was not spared from this war that is devastating my entire family🧒🧒👩‍🦰👶. I was pregnant for 9🤰 months and unfortunately my daughter died at birth, due to poor nutrition😪🥺 and unhealthy living conditions for her and our baby.

We lack basic human needs, no food, no electricity, no water. We have been poisoned and infected🍞 by the unhealthy water🥛 we drink. During this period, she felt remorse at how difficult it was for a mother to see her children sick and unable to treat them because she is also very sick. I hope to provide us with support in order to cover the costs associated with ensuring our safe passage to Egypt across the border. Alrighty! Second catch up post. I stayed up so late getting this done last night for my class critique. I’m not an animator so she’s a little choppy but look! I made a gif! The prompt I ended up with was Brain Stew, by Green Day ya, and with some suggestions from my professor, here’s what I’ve got! I hated it at first and I hated working on it, ngl but I’m actually kinda happy with how it turned out! So yay me!

The quality isn’t as great tho bcs the file is quite big but whatever that’s fine. Skill unlocked!

First thing! I made a couple patterns! This is for a class, critique is tomorrow and I am so over this project. Patterns are hard to make apparently but I'm not mad at the way my fish one looks. The spooky one looks terrible and I'm so sad about it.

Physically printed these out too bcs they're digital which was kinda cool. I need to learn how to make prints and all that so it's a step in the right direction.
