I would have added to this w student six concept art (finally got an idea for the full lineup!) and or unleash the magic redraw with chancellor neighsay and screwball but didn’t have energy to art any more lol😭 but just know I connected the dots that neighsay would very much be interested in screwy bc that’s a whole ass Demi god so he’s veryyyy interested by her bc ‘woah! A god! I love the gods!! And I hate these other non pony species and she’s half god half pony this is perfect!!!!! I’m gonna manipulate her so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ Yk how it goes,,,

I think it’s obvious by now but man I loveeee referencing the toys in my rw <3333 my collector swag of knowing obscure toy only characters/species <3 I do think Skyla could use work on her mane style so she’s not so generic looking but idk what to do but again these are like stupid rough concept arts they’re not even lined I was just bullshitting around with getting color palettes pinned down more than anything lols take em w a grain o salt, if i revisit em with lined art which i DEFINITELY will for screw I do think ill mix up her limbs (so the paws would be one on right front leg one on left hind leg so not identical/uniform yk more discordy) also on design notes uh her being pink rather than yellow/green like disc and fluts (and by extension their families) I justified by the mlp rules of sometimes kids can swap mane and coat colors w parents (see: zephyr has yellow mane but flutters mom a yellow coat) so it works out peace and love, she feels a bittttt too discord-like to me but also I’m beating down that thought w a stick bc the design turned out super fun plus it would be a fun contrast if I make her like really really shy but she looks like she’s loud and chaotic when she’s not LOL ok that’s all good afternoon good evening and goodnight

Coming home, flutters noticed a broken tea cup upon arrival. She inspected it, realizing there were no animal tracks near it. Discord on the other hand, already knew the little pair of twins did it as they played tea party together with her tea set. He was simply amused to see the two of them panic.

Titanium (blue) is the Element of Courage. (Son of Twilight and Rainbow)

Harbinger (green) is the Element of Equity. (Son of Chrysalis and Discord, adopted by Fluttershy + Discord)

They Would Not Have Children imo but I made a Fluttercord and Rarijack kid for funsies anyway... Also redrew them as that "we're emo" meme bc I thought it was funny. Some thoughts on them under the cut.

I imagine them both going through some flavour of teenage angst. Disharmony I haven't thought that deeply about, I just kinda think she's a rebellious teen who clashes both with Fluttershy's reserved personality and Discord's nonsense.

The main reason I can't really see Rarity and AJ having kids is because I think AJ would want to stay on Sweet Apple Acres and I'm not sure Rarity would move there so there's probably conflict with Stringmane about their contrasting interests. Especially with the Apple family I imagine there are expectations. That's also why they don't have their Cutie Mark yet. I think eventually he'll pick up a creative talent unrelated to fashion.

Here is the FlutterCord child Amnesty! She takes after her mother with some hint of her father. Amnesty's name was chosen with Discord's path to redemption since his friendship with Fluttershy is what would grant him amnesty in Equestria.

Twidash Family: Eldest son, Whirlwind, daughter, Lucky Charm, and youngest son (child of Gilda that Twilight and Rainbow Dash adopted from her when she expressed that she didn't want to be a mother), Gilderoy

Rarijack Family: Eldest son, Apple Beryl, and triplet boys, Crispin (green), Jonagold (yellow), and Bailey (red)

Fluttercord Family: One and only child, Hodgepodge (and yes, Discord was the one that was pregnant with her)

Cheesepie Family: Eldest child, Lil' Cheese (Cheese Sandwich Jr., or C.J.), and the triplets, Nea (brown girl), Poli (pink boy), and Tan (white girl); the foal that Pinkie is currently pregnant with will be a girl named Brie

So here's the fluttercord twins! They are the two kids of Fluttershy and Discord, And they're a pair of twins! Again there might be a few changes here and then but this is what i worked on for now! Athena takes more of Fluttershy's side of the family, her father's red eyes! While Archer takes more of discord :] with his mother's teal eyes!

Although archer takes alot of fluttershy's shyness, and has a quiet timid personality like when flutter's was young yet he has the powers and strength of discord's adult powers (dont make him mad) While athena despite being a bit of a pushover, she has confidence and has the personality of fluttershy in the later seasons, and got a little mischevious side from discord. She feels bad when a prank goes too far, and is very caring of others. Though she is more chaotic than her brother, the two are a pair of dices, always so unexpected!

Rariappledash is just my #1 poly ship I love all three of these dynamics and I can’t pick one, so in the nextgen au I have in my head they all have a bunch of wacky kids together and are a huge happy family.

Rarity has to take a lot of trips out of ponyville to manehatten and canterlot, and even some other cities for her boutiques so she’s not as involved with raising the kids but she spends as much time with them as possible and they all love mama Rarity (who may or may not feel guilty about being more absent and tends to shower the kids in gifts because of it)

RD also has to leave for wonderbolt things sometimes, especially when Spitfire retired and Rainbow takes her place as the captain. On very rare occasions she and Rarity are both gone at the same time, and Aj can definitely get overwhelmed. Thankfully Apple Bloom and Big Mac are there to help, even if they do have lives of their own now. Not to mention Pinkie and Cheese love to bring Lil’ Cheese over for playdates (and to give the mom trio a break)

One of the kids says “My mom can beat up your mom!” one time and like. Yeah.

Rd is “forced” to go on spa dates with her wives (she loves it)

Aj and Rd like to plan huge lavish surprises for Rarity, and they sometimes compete for who can spoil her the most. Rarity loves this and fully encourages it.

Rarity is always making gifts for her loved ones no matter how old she gets, her children are always prepared with a stunning outfit or two, and her wives and in-laws can always count on her to give amazing gifts during heartswarming

Twiset/Sunlight is canon in this au (I’m keeping twilight’s normal alicorn design, I just prefer it to the celestia recolor) and the Rariappledash trio like to come by canterlot castle to help them relax, because they (Mostly Twilight) tend to get overstressed about leading a country

Triple dates with Cheesepie and Fluttercord all the time

The CMC and Pound & Pumpkin Cake babysit often

Foal name ideas:

instead of a nextgen au this is a case for why every member of the mane six would make a shitty parent:

twilight: are you kidding me, shes the ruler. she has so much going on already. she has rare and valuable magic stuff. she hates messes. she would get a hyperactive brat who destroys everything they touch and it would be be a nightmare shed either become a helicopter parent constantly surveying them or she would hand them off to relatives or hire caretakers and see them like once a month

rarity: would treat her kid like a dress up doll and a mini-her. similar to twilight shed hate the chaos and the messes children cause

fluttershy: is a "animals are more interesting than people" autistic. hates kids. if you ship fluttercord, discord would have fun with the kid but would not take care of them.

rainbow dash: the overly lax and emotionally neglectful type. too busy at her job and doesnt want to smother her kid in attention like she was raised. her parents (now grandparents) do that for her.

pinkie pie: she wants kids but they would have no goddamn discipline. shed let them be feral. thered be several. they dont have bedtimes and drink mountain dew all the time
