I have a collection of Romanogers AU one shots that I could potentially add to but have no plans to. Not gonna lie the right people have the power to talk me into writing a new au. I’m no longer active in the fandom and don’t feel very inspired. Honestly, I don’t want to write multi-chapter fic ever again lol, but sometimes I can’t help myself. They test my commitment issues, but I will finish Wander. I can promise that much at least!

Where did Taylor do his challenge?

I’ll do an ask roundup here. Little disclaimer here...I’m not google. Some of these things can be easily googled, especially the lockdown questions. It’s different everywhere. Also, I can only tell you what I think Taylor is up to, obviously with the lockdown happening he hasn’t been spotted and outside of what he’s posted directly there’s not much to report. ;)

Answer: I believe he did the challenge in Austin. 

Ask #2: Where did Taylor do the Murphchallrnge? Do you think any of the other cast mates from the movie participated?

Answer: I believe he did the challenge in Austin. I didn’t see any of the other cast members participate or post about it. I’m sure if they did participate they would have.

Ask #3: Where was the challenge held in Austin? Did Marcus participate? 

Answer: I haven’t checked in on Marcus but I’m sure if he participated the challenge page would have posted about it. The challenge wasn’t specifically held in Austin, every year it is done at different gyms around the country and anyone can do it on their own time anywhere. This year it was obviously done virtually with each person doing it individually on their own time. 

Ask #4: Is Austin people out and about:

Answer: Texas, like most of the rest of the country, is not on complete lockdown. I can’t speak for exactly what Taylor is doing but a lot of people continue to be cautious about what they’re exposing themselves to.

Ask #5: Taylor’s pro-military? Damn that’s heartbreaking.

Answer: Is he pro-military? He supports the military, yes. Especially people he’s met along the way who are veterans that have helped him train to play certain roles. But I don’t really get the pro-military thing, a) he’s Canadian, it’s clearly a respect thing for friends/people who have served their country...I have a member of my family who is in the Air Force, I wouldn’t say I’m “pro-military” but I support him and people of service. I’m also moderate so I don’t want to make this into a political thing. 

Ask #6: Is Austin still in lockdown? Has anyone seen Taylor anywhere? Even on the lake? 

Answer: I know we’re desperate for Taylor here, people. I get it. If there were a fan sighting, picture, etc., I’d be sharing it. The whole of the United States was just in lockdown for a few months, mostly. I think moving forward we’re going to be seeing a lot less fan sightings of him/pictures. I don’t think he’ll want to be getting up close and personal with people. 

Ask #7: Do you know if Taylor is still self quarantining? Is he by himself? Has Texas lifted any specific limitations? 

Answer: I don’t live in Texas, so I couldn’t tell you exactly what their restrictions continue to be. If you want to know what’s happening in Michigan, I’d be happy to share. Do I think he’s continuing to quarantine? I’d guess he’s being careful and attempting to stay healthy so he can start filming Inferno as soon as he gets the go ahead. Do I think he’s all by himself? No.

Ask #8: Besides Inferno, does Taylor have any other movies in the works? Will he ever work with Peter Berg again?

Answer: He and Pete are close, I’m sure they’ll collaborate again at some point. Pete was supposed to be part of Taylor’s directorial debut, ‘Pieces’. But as Taylor continues to get other work, Pieces continues to be put on the back burner. Other than Inferno he has nothing lined up, that we know of. A lot of things are on hold right now, obviously. There is the possibility that he’s in the second, eight-episode chapter of Shadowplay which was supposed to film later this year. But that hasn’t been confirmed. 

Ask #9: Hey, how old is his girlfriend Jennifer?

Answer: I believe she’s a few years younger than him. I think 37 years old. 

Ask #10: What is Taylor’s family’s insta accounts? I know one of his sisters is public but what about his girlfriend?

Answer #10: Taylor’s girlfriend’s personal account is private, she has a work related account but I don’t really feel like posting that here to be bombarded by fans. He follows one of his sisters on Instagram, she has a public account.

Ask #11: Ok 2 things! 1, Why wasn’t Taylor on the FNL stay at home live reunion while watching the pilot?? It was so good but wish him or atleast Minka, Kyle or Connie would have been on it too!! And 2, currently binge watching FNL and wondering if I ordered the dvds is there a lot extras such as behind the scenes interviews and deleted scenes?? If so I may need to buy them!

Answer: I’m not sure why he didn’t participate. Part of me just thinks he’s kind of “over” it all. He’s not really into that social media type of thing. Maybe if Connie or Kyle did it he’d join in, but he’s still close with Derek who participated, who knows. Could be a ton of different reasons. It would have been fun to see him though. So, if you order the Blu-Ray box set I do not believe that they have the extras. I bought the DVDs as individual seasons as they were released over the years. I bought the box set of he entire series when it was released and it does have some extras/deleted scenes. However, the most recent Blu-Ray version of the boxset that was released has no extras. You’ve been warned!

I have a random MK question: Does anyone know if there was bad blood between her and the FNL cast? I saw that they did a zoom reunion and she wasn’t included. I know she’s not the only cast member who missed it, but it just struck me as odd. I think it would be right up her alley. She’s always reminiscing about the show. Also, there could be a 1000 other reasons she wasn’t there. Just curious

I don’t think there is, but I don’t know for sure. She always tends to speak highly of the show and her cast mates. Maybe she was busy and couldn’t take part? Who knows. 🦎

Is Taylor home safe with any of his family members?

Answer: I believe he’s in Austin, where he’s been self isolating. His family is in Canada so I would say no to being with family members. 

Ask #2: Has anyone seen Taylor around town?

Answer: I believe Austin was in a shelter-in-place situation until last week so, no, nobody has seen him out. I would guess, like most places that have opened up their state a little bit, that even if they are allowing you to go to restaurants or whatever it may be that he, like most people, are continuing to be cautious. I also don’t know if they’re required to wear a mask out in public. Here in Michigan you are. That might impact how easily someone might be able to identify him. 

Ask #3: Is taylor’s gf a stunt woman?

Answer: No. They were introduced by a mutual friend who happened to be Taylor’s Riggins stunt double. But she is not involved in the entertainment industry in any way.

Ask #4: Are taylor and nic pizzolatto friends? Has nic every said anything about taylor?

Answer: Sure, I think they’re friendly. Taylor mentioned something during the ‘21 Bridges’ promotion about checking in with Nic often, selfishly because he wants to work with him again. 

Ask #5: Do you think that Taylor will ever move back to Canada? Since, it’s his true true home.

Answer: Ever? Ever is a long time...I can’t say he’ll never move back there. He’s given every indication that Austin is his home. He just built his dream house there and has lived there now for something like 14 years. So as much as Canada is home and where his family is, Austin is very much home as well. That’s where he’s built his life. 

Ask #6: This is just from a fan and my own opinion. BUT, Taylor Kitsch should have won an award and should have gotten more accolades for Waco!

Answer: He should have at least been nominated, I agree. It just came down to the fact that it was on a new network that didn’t have the ability or built in audience to push that series forward the way it needed to be. I mean, it was added to Netflix and with no promotion or fanfare it was in the Top 10 watched programs for 2 1/2 weeks. People had no idea it wasn’t an original Netflix series. If it had been an original Netflix series a few years back, I think his chances would have been better to be nominated. Which, again, is why awards season is kind of a joke, there are so many other factors that come into play other than just straight performance. 

Ask #7: Do you have any pictures of Taylor with his sisters? Love your page!

Answer: I try not to post too much with his family unless it’s coming from something they’ve publicly posted. I’ll post this photo because his sister posted it on Instagram and tagged him in it. 

Ask #8: In Taylor’s message for Canada, as soon as he starts talking sounds like someone starts playing the guitar. Wonder who???

Answer: That was just music that was put into the video by ET Canada, nobody was playing a guitar at Taylor’s place. 

Ask #9: Will there ever be a Friday Night Lights sequel or reunion?

Answer: Most, if not all of the FNL cast has said that no, there won’t be a reunion or reboot or sequel. There isn’t anything in the works. There is an original Friday Night Lights movie happening though, directed by the Dowdle brothers, who did Waco. It’s a completely original story and take on the Friday Night Lights universe though.

Taylor Kitsch to Headline ‘Waco’ Event at ATX Television Festival (EXCLUSIVE) Taylor Kitsch will be making his ATX Television Festival debut this June, Variety has learned exclusively. Following a screening of one of the six episodes of his Paramount Network limited series “Waco,” Kitsch will appear on a panel to discuss the process of adapting the true story of David Koresh and the 1993 siege on his Branch Davidian compound in Texas. Additional panelists are expected to be announced closer to the event. “Waco” debuted in January 2018 on the cabler. Created by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle, the series also starred Michael Shannon, Rory Culkin, John Leguizamo, Melissa Benoist, Julia Garner and Andrea Riseborough. Although the festival hosted annual “Friday Night Lights” screenings in its early years, Kitsch was never able to attend the formal events, although he did stop by the opening night party in 2014 to reunite with “FNL” stars such as Derek Phillips and Adrianne Palicki. “Waco” is the latest piece of programming announced for the seventh annual festival, which takes place in Austin, Texas June 7-10. Previously announced series include “Love Is___“, “Castle Rock,” “Sharp Objects,” “Mayans MC” and a “Felicity” reunion.
