What would you consider the standard Vampire Folksinger uniform/go-to look for spring and summer?
The weather in San Francisco has been really unpredictable lately, but here's my semi-standard "uniform" recently:
Lightweight dress or blouse and black skirt
Large belt (or for fancier occasions, a corset)
Velvet shawl or jacket*
Statement necklace
Leggings
Black or patterned socks
Doc Martins
I don't always bother with makeup but when I do: lipstick, mascara, and messy eyeshadow crayon or eyeliner. Plus perfume!
*The velvet jacket I got at Buffalo Exchange a month ago is now that fabled "final part of my character design."

This particular Tom Lewis (it's a pretty common name) is pretty big in the contemporary British Sea Shanty/folk music scene (He's the one who wrote "The Last Shanty").
In this particular video he gives background info for, and sings, a song about old time music hall life.
For some reason, it's classified by YouTube as "for kids" (even though the live audience is all adults, and there's a humorous verse about an extra marital affair). So I can't leave a comment saying how much I liked this one.
So I'm showing my appreciation this way.

Well, listen to the rumble, the rattle, and the roar
She glides along the woodlands, down the hills and by the shore
Hear the mighty rush of engine, hear the lonesome hobo call
Ride the rosin, break a bead on the Wabash Cannonball

12. a performance you think is underrated: beating a dead horse here and for the upteenth time saying barbara shelley in cat girl (1957) and sally hawkins in maudie (2016)
16. a trilogy/franchise you like: the ringu and ju-on franchises cause there's nothing that makes me happier than a vengeaful and sad spirit girl spreading curses
20. a movie you think looks beautiful: soooo many but the first one that came to my mind is the red shoes (1948)
