uhhhhhh the player is a hitachi TRQ-249

its crunchy as hell cause its from the 70s-ish

its better to have a whole cassette deck instead of the shoebox so you can actually have better control over how its recorded but i like trash quality so i straight up just plug an aux cable from the headphone jack in my computer, and into the mic jack in the cassette player

then anything you play through the computer can be recorded onto tape

there is something sooo special to me about voice acting in the 2006ish-2008 eddsworld era. like obviously it's really bad but it's so incredibly charming. the audio quality is crunchy, everyone talks kind of awkwardly and flatly, and really they're moreso just mumbling into their mics rather than talking. it's great. Paul's "it's just the sound of... NOBODY CARING" is like a beautiful melody to me

Hi! Thank you so much! I use bandlab to produce and record all my music. I don't currently have a microphone and I use the one built into my phone which is a Motorola model, not sure which. Something to help with the sound quality is setting the audio to record and putting your phone in a sock, it's been passed around and it's actually helped me with audio peaking. The crunch on that track was produced with a few vocal effects, specifically the Bitcrusher and Exciter distortion effects!

Steve Buscemi is technically the more fitting choice, but in my Chainsaw Man live action artistic vision, an awful David Spade looking guy plays Kishibe. All of his parts are filmed separately from the rest of the cast, and in an incredible low quality. He's superimposed into every scene he's in, but it's so low-res that he looks all smeared and crunchy, and you can still see the green screen outline around him. The rest of the movie looks normal. Also all of his audio sounds like when you breath too hard into your mic when you mess with your friends while playing overwatch. Also if you throw a tomato at the screen while watching it in theatres he will yelp in pain.

ive been meaning to get myself some new bluetooth headphones but only if I can be certain they won't do that stupid thing where you turn the mic on and it tanks all sound quality while you're using it. I don't want my game audio to be crunchy in my ears while I'm trying to screenshare with friends

It’s so insane to wear them again because NO ONE TOLD ME RAIN WAS SO CRUNCHY?? NO ONE TOLD ME SOUND HAD SO MUCH DEPTH BESIDES LIKE.. ECHOS??

Being half deaf is like a million different little inconveniences stacked onto each other. But putting on hearing aids makes everything so… alive. You can’t draw a line with only a dot. It’s not a data set with only one point. You need both ears to truly get the full story. And while I’ll never truly have both ears… at least I have an alternative.

Plus it kinda makes up for not being able to tell which directions sounds come from because the noise from the right that’s sent to my left has this sort of… slightly robotic quality to it. Like you can tell it’s a mic. I can definitely kinda get a sense of direction now.

I’m so excited to rediscover and redefine sounds around me. I already spent 10 seconds listening to flipping a switch and it being loud and clear. I was SCREAMING when I could hear my cousin whisper in my right ear. I was SHOOK when I heard more from my sister’s piano and my ukulele.

Only complaint? Everything’s too detailed 😭😭😭 I thought someone was playing with something and it was bothering me but it turned out to be just the rain water gushing down the drain pipe 💀

theres some discussion going on on twitter about what kind of gear streamers should invest in and i totally agree w people saying its more about the quality of your entertainment vs sound or like camera visuals, like i listened to scorpy stream from a rockband mic for ages and i think its fun when his camera is crunchy bc he sets up cool lights in his room which are probably just some leds. im way more interested in a fun personality and cool onscreen visuals, and those dont cost a ridiculous amount of money. hit up gifcities and youve covered half of that

shitty mics and how they relate to georges lore stream

all thoughout the george lore stream of the 28/01, poeple other than goerge have been having awful mic qualities.

Now we all know they normally have good mics and audio quality so why the sudden change ?

I think its george s way of showing us how he s slowly forgetting how they sound like.

It's not clear, it s crunchy, as if he is having trouble remembering what they sound like.

It s truthfully such a small detail that carries such a sad message. I dont even remember what you sound like, and i didnt even notice. How far disconnected from reality do you have to be ?
