Fortnite leads Minecraft in views

According to the reports, Minecraft used to have an audience of more than 4.5 billion viewers per month until March 2017. However, after the release of Fortnite, Minecraft saw a slow decline in audience and was reduced to almost 1,500 million viewers per month. The game saw its audience go off a few months after its release. As of March 2018, the total number of viewers per month has almost reached 3,000 million. In a Tweet from Ryan Watts, the leader of AR / VR and game content on YouTube said that the Battle Royale game got more than 42 million live views and even set the record for the largest live streaming with 1.1 million simultaneous viewers

Viewers of Clash Royale and PUBG decline

The increasing popularity of Fortnite is at the cost of other games of similar genre. According to reports, other games such as Player Unknown's Battlegrounds or PUBG and Clash Royale have steadily declined in the audience rate after the release of Fortnite. Clash Royale, one of the best games for mobile devices, saw its audience fall at a steady pace after the release of Fortnite. The decline may be because the game has been around for quite some time and people are starting to get tired of watching the same game. What is incredible is the rapid growth that Fortnite had in a few months; Between January and February, the audience grew by 151 percent and its monthly growth in viewers is +97 percent. With a momentum like this and such a large audience, the game will continue to head the lists on YouTube until another competitor arrives to conquer it. It is available on practically all platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and even for iOS phones, Android, and tablets
