Honestly surprised Eulogy's slave empire hasn't collapsed sooner since his second in command is as dumb as an east coast super mutant

Age Headcanons
So, we only know the exact age of three companions, MacCready, Cait, and Codsworth, and we know that Curie and Nick are both a hundred years old, but let’s be honest exact age doesn’t matter for them. We don’t know the age of the other companions, so here are my headcanons with explanations.
Cait: She’s 26. We know this because she gives a very basic timeline of her life. 18 years with her parents, then five years as a slave, and then 3 years at the Combat Zone. 18+5+3=26.
Codsworth: 210 years. Sole and family got him the year the bombs dropped.
Curie: Also 210 years. She was likely activated right after the bombs dropped. Physically speaking, as a synth, she’s probably mid-twenties to early thirties.
Danse: Mid-early thirties, I think it’s 34 to be exact. The Institute seems to only take adults, but we don’t know how young. We know he’s been in the BoS for 13 years, and it seems like he “moved” to Rivet City in his early twenties at the latest. I also don’t think synths don’t age
Deacon: Mid thirties-forties, 38 to be exact. The only timeline for Deacon we know is how long he has been in the Railroad, 14 years. We know he was definitely an adult when he joined. I think it was sometime in his twenties, which automatically puts him in his mid-thirties at the latest.
Dogmeat: Probably like 4 or so. Old enough to be more well behaved, young enough to do everything he does.
Hancock: Somewhere in his thirties, 36 maybe? We know he is definitely in his thirties, because he says ten years prior he was in his twenties.
MacCready: He’s 22. In fo3 he’s 12, and fo4 is ten years later, so he’s 22. Side note, I love people’s reactions to finding out how young he is.
Nick: he’s 100+ years old. Since he isn’t organic, exact age doesn’t really matter.
Piper: This might be an unpopular opinion, but early twenties, possibly younger than MacCready. Because of the way she talks about her childhood, I don’t think she can’t be way older than Nat. Nat’s probably 12 at the oldest, and I don’t think Piper is going to be more than twice her age. She’s also awfully reckless, which can be a sign that she’s on the younger side. I think she’s 21 at the youngest, 24 at the oldest.
Preston: Mid-late twenties, maybe 26? We know he was 17 when he joined the Minutemen, but we don’t know how long he has been serving. He talks about the death of the last general, I can’t remember his name, like he was already part of the Minutemen at that point, making him 23 at the youngest, but I personally think he’s older.
Strong: Since super mutants don’t really age, an exact age doesn’t really matter, but for my own personal headcanons he was around twenty-seven when he was turned.
X6: Other than definitely being an adult, we don’t know anything. Do I think it would be kind of funny if he’s only existed for a few years? yes. So, I’m going to say he’s like 4.

exccccccccccuuse me,,, the brotherhood did WHAT to marlene? i am going to kick all of them in the TEETH i've had ENOUGH of THIER SHIT
this has been in my inbox for ages and i swore i would answer it one day so, a list of shit that the brotherhood has done to marlene:
first of all she never really wanted to join up with them (so jot that down) but did so because she was in a very emotional state after her father’s death and this was her best way to fight the enclave. of course the brotherhood did not like her penchant for disobeying orders (especially since she was increasingly more suicidal after her father died) and so they were pissed at her but she was honestly their most effective soldier, and she had knowledge about project purity, so they weren’t about to turn her down.
marlene herself liked a few individual brotherhood members (pretty much only sarah lyons, lbr) but was honestly too broken to even try to make friends, much less people that she could trust. and she was such a mess that she jumped at the opportunity to sacrifice herself for her father’s cause and the greater good by dying at project purity, and at that point was honestly just ready to die
the brotherhood rescued her, though, and saved her, but when she woke up marlene was honestly just… angry that they’d robbed her of an easy death and a way out, and upon her first few times awakening just really fucking screamed at the doctors and anyone else there and almost succeeded in slitting her wrists and bleeding to death, but the brotherhood was having none of that, because they knew what an asset she was, so they kept her sedated for about a week or so after she woke up, restrained so that she couldn’t hurt herself or others, and was force-fed and watered and pretty much kept like an animal in a cage because the brotherhood still had use of her
if this sounds strange for the brotherhood under elder lyons it’s because it was—i headcanon lyons as having a stroke or something similar from all the stress of the enclave, combined with his age, which put him out of commission for a while and in the interim, a much more extremist commander took over—probably not yet maxson, (although i do headcanon him as being probably around twenty to twenty-five instead of the ten year old that we saw, and that the gap between fallout 3 and fallout 4 was fifteen years, not ten, which accounts for how old he and mac both look, so maxson would be thirty-five to forty in fallout 4 which would make sense given his hair, ANYWAY) it’s a more brutal commander, not yet maxson but someone that maxson would probably look up to and who he would eventually succeed
point being, this isn’t normal behavior for the brotherhood as we saw them in fo3 but the kind of… power given by liberty prime made it easier for more ruthless, war-focused people to take control. so anyway once marlene was somewhat stable, they had obvious need of her with the enclave, and she was really treated as more of a weapon than a person. she was essentially installed into a suit of locked power armor which had a kind of kill switch that would immobilize it if marlene tried to do some whack shit and essentially they pointed her at a target and let her go to town on them
marlene was very… not resistant to this for a while because at this point she just felt as if she wanted to live out this final fuck you to the enclave and then die, which she eventually did deliver but in that moment she also turned on the brotherhood and killed her commanding officer who was the one with her armor’s kill switch and uhhh… decimated a lot of the brotherhood’s fighting forces as payback for the weapon that they’d made her
thereafter she salvaged the parts of her (now pretty much destroyed) armor that she could and took off northwest, which is how she came to the pitt, and a lot of her experience there was physically and mentally working through that feeling of being a tool, just used for a purpose and not as a human being. she was very hedonistic at the time which makes sense for someone going through trauma, she drank a lot and used a lot of drugs and let herself be beat up (but never quite died) and slept around rather a lot and was generally in a fucking awful condition
she was a gladiatorial slave in the pitt for about two months or so and honestly just kept expecting to die and expecting to die and expecting to die but what really brought her back from dying there was the search for a cure, and specifically marie, because at first she was just going through the motions for the hopes of a payoff, maybe make her life a little easier, but seeing this child was what brought everything back into focus for her and reminded her that hey, there is some good left in this horrible fucked up world and i’m not going to let people make this child grow up to be what i became
long answer, but marlene’s story post-fo3 is probably just as important to her development as a character than what happened in-game

Polomolok firefighters give IPs Christmas to remember
#PHinfo: Polomolok firefighters give IPs Christmas to remember
GENERAL SANTOS CITY,  Dec. 27 – The Bureau of Fire Protection-Polomolok Fire Station (BFP-PFS) and partners enjoyed a Community Outreach Program (COP) held for an upland Indigenous People (IP) community in Barangay Landan, Polomok, South Cotabato on Wednesday, December 18.
More than forty (40) families have received Noche Buena pacakages from BFP-PFS.
BFP-PFS personnel have always made it a point to help the less-privileged IP families of B’laan tribe in their area.
Spearheading the event was PFS Fire Marshal S/Insp. Julio B Gabut.
“It’s in our hearts and it’s in our blood, we like to serve the community,” S/Insp. Gabut said. “We serve the community day in and day out, and especially in a time of giving.”
“It is also our way of giving back to the community the blessings we received the whole year,” he added.
“It means a lot to us to do this. Not everyone is lucky to have something in life, knowing that comes Christmas eve, we have something in your table to share,” PFS Admin Chief SFO1 Randy S Gulle said. “We’re here to lift their spirits and give them the Christmas that they deserve.”
The said outreach program was initiated by Polomolok firefighters in lieu of a traditional extravagant Christmas party.
“Bong Salamat (Thank you very much)," exclaimed by Momia Laydan , 68 to express her gratitude as she was one of the recipients of the said COP.
“Such COP are big help to these families, the fact that all of them came from nobody families," Rebecca Diali, Barangay Landan Chairwoman said.
As part of the activity, PFS personnel offered foods and refreshment to all invited visitors.
Fire safety tips were also given to the recipient of the said COP.
Berong Bombero, the official mascot of the Bureau of Fire Protection, gives additional amusement and color to the occasion. (FO3 Philip C Chan/PFS)
