What do you think of the paw patrol esk httyd rescue riders?

I don’t know enough about Paw Patrol to talk in depth about this, but I like this idea! I think it’s a fruitful crossover area!

I once had a package from a close neighbor in an apartment. I typically get similar packages and so I just opened it up. Turned out to be a jeweled butt plug. We printed a note and hung the package on thier door saying how profusely sorry we were for mistaking the package and opening it and how we were talking to the front office about the mis delivery.

Would you consider making pendulums and jewelry and thing with buttercups?

Well, I do have a few prisms made with buttercups, if you haven’t seen them already!

Other than that, if I get more buttercups throughout the season, I would be happy to make jewelry out of them. The ones I collected for those prisms were unfortunately a bit too big for jewelry so I opted to preserve them as lights instead.

Wow this was like straight out of my own life! I feel ya here! My parents never allowed me to show any kind of enthusiasm. I finally got my very first Pokémon plush for my self for my birthday LAST MONTH. I’m 28 fucking years old and the alolan vulpix is the most beautiful thing ever. Ya know besides my kid that is of course XD

i was a fool for the power rangers, and when i say fool, i mean that with the southernest sweet tea bojangles accent you ever did hear

i loved it so much, they were my heroes, and one day i guess it had to stop

a couple weeks ago on the day of trans pride, after a bite to eat at dick’s, i stopped in at phoenix comics

and walked out with this in my hands

and as it turns out, it’s one of the coolest things i’ve ever read, and it’s really ridiculous that i ever had someone in my life turn me away from something that made me so excited

we naturally grow in and out of stuff but if something is special to you, well

it inspired all these artists and writers to make this, right? that’s why it’s there, first it entertains, then it inspires, then we inspire someone else

when i’m a mom i want to take this kind of thinking forward and just, encourage whatever sort of passions my child develops, i want to see how far it can take them, and just thinking about that is so exciting to me, it feels like breaking a cycle, y’know?

It’s spring! When I finally went on my own local herb ID walk I literally ran into my very first Blue Elder! The leaves smelled nutty and a nearby elder tree was just about to sport its flowers! This wasn’t today though, it was last Sunday but I was so excited!

That sounds lovely! Are you sure it was Blue Elderberry? They typically grow east of the cascades unless specifically planted here! That would be neat if there was some on this side though :)

I remember in my early childhood I had a plant, it was one of those unkilliable trailing plants of some kind. I named her Sarah and I would talk to her. She died because I was 6 and my mother was a plant killer. For some reason Sara the plant memory has stuck with me all these years. I still have no idea what kind of plant she was.

In some lighting I saw toothless has lighter spots on his body? Are there other scenes where he’s spotted instead of fully black? Is it like jaguar spots? A trick of the lighting, a design mistake?

Your eyes do not deceive you! Toothless does have spots.

According to “The Art of How to Train Your Dragon” p. 27, Toothless’ design was inspired by the black panther:

“His color was inspired by a black panther screensaver on one of our story artist’s monitors. That image was striking and electrifying, with those eyes staring out from the darkest black face,” explains Director Chris Sanders. 

The art book also says:

This desire to give the Night Fury a pure black skin presented unique challenges for the artistic team due to the difficulty in portraying pure black color under a variety of lighting conditions.

While the book then goes on to say how they worked with textures and iridescence to solve this problem, I also imagine part of the solution was also giving Toothless a subtle mottled skin.

@foxflightly it makes me happy that even though you came out of a bad situation you’ve chosen to do the opposite rather than continue the pattern ,, it’s sad to see people who were abused also become abusers so im glad you are using your experiences as like, what NOT to do. it sounds like you’re a great mom!!

Greater Seattle area peeps:

The last tracking club of the season is happening this upcoming Saturday (June 8th 2019)! I attend most of them, which is where I met @foxflightly for the first time! 

I will NOT be at this upcoming one but I plan on attending them again in the Fall. This is an excellent chance to learn some wildlife tracking basics for free and hang out with some awesome nature nerds!

So are flying types. So in the second Gen if you grab a Geodude and train it up a bit you can get the first two gyms without even trying.

i knew about the rock thing but the bug thing fucked me up because i never intentionally train rock types because im a poison/dark/ghost/fairy fangirl
