V1 Prototype for adopting a Tamagochi pet in Facebook Messenger
youtube
I helped my friend hack together this prototype of a simple game on Facebook Messenger. I used Sketch and Framer.js for the animation and dynamic data updating. The idea: Friends can adopt a pet together, giving them a reason to interact that is collaborative and persistent. In a messenger conversation, you can start a game by tapping the cat icon. We only spent two days on this, so all you can do is feed the cat or make him chase a laser pointer. Additional activities could be a hamster wheel for exercising, chasing a string, clawing a cat tree, etc.

Health Dashboard Animation
A lot of applications have appeared that write their data into iOS Health Kit app. However, there is no such application that would depict all this information in one screen. This interface is a try to show all these data in one place. An application uses iOS health kit data to show a number of calories consumed and energy expenditure.

You can also check the Enable debug logging option in the Preview Setup and look at the output in Console.app to get a better idea of what is going on. If you find any issues, you can try to reproduce them with the files in the test directory of this repository. Feel free to submit a pull request if you’ve used the plugin with a newer version of any of these applications. Not all combinations of each application have been tested, but this should give you some idea of the latest versions that have worked for other people. This plugin has been used successfully with the following versions of software. The simulated modes are not currently accurate, and the final image will be 1 to 2 pixels off in the smaller dimension. These modes either change the output size to 2x or 3x based on Artboard dimensions, or they attempt to scale the preview up to simulate the Display Zoom or compatibility modes available on the iPhones 6. There are now several scaling modes intended for iOS design.
Select Preview Setup. from the plugins menu or Press ⌘⌥P to configure the plugin.
Select Preview from the Plugins menu or press ⌘⇧P.

Using Sketch with Framer
UX tools help you communicate your product vision. Learn how to use Sketch and Framer together to create more interactive app prototypes and flesh out your designs. In this project-based course, LinkedIn Learning instructor Emmanuel Henri shows how to design an app to help an IT team manage users and assets and survey the company network. This is a complex UX design that shows where Sketch and Framer shine, and gives you a chance to see how design objectives are defined and translated into a finished product. Get an overview of the complete workflow, and then learn how to design your assets in Sketch and import them into Framer to add transitions, interactions, and animation. Plus, get tips for presenting your prototype to stakeholders and integrating feedback.

Update learning goal 1
It’s been a while that I worked on my learning goals for the X2 program because of the schedule and assignments of Cognitive Psychology and Big IA.
Recap learning goals
My first learning goal is to become better at designing interactions with prototype tools. I realized this by making the Multi Device Design assignment where I made a nice mobile prototype including nice interactions.
But I noticed that this isn’t enough. Therefore, I am following these courses on Lynda:
https://www.lynda.com/Prototyping-tutorials/Creating-Card-animation/475945/497358-4.html?autoplay=true
https://www.lynda.com/FramerJS-tutorials/Adding-items-cart/614321/674321-4.html?autoplay=true
Specify this learning goal
As I said above, my learning goal is to become better at designing interactions in prototyping. Firstly, i want to specify this learning goal by saying that the prototype tool that i want to make the interactions in is Principle.
Besides that this goal has te be specific, it also has to be measurable. To realize this i have made a list with the task i want to do to realize this goal at the end of the minor.
Tasks
- Make a on boarding transition prototype (3 hours) Done
- Watch Lynda tutorial about Principle (2 hours) Done
- Make a card animation prototype (5 hours) Done
- Make a button transition prototype (3 hours) Done
- Make a bottom up slide in prototype (3 hours) Done
- Make a hamburger button animation (4 hours) Done
- Make a horizontal and vertical scrolling prototype (5 hours) Done
- Make a screen transition prototype (4 hours) Done
Total Time: 29 hours

Walking with spacing out
Sometimes I thought maybe my life expectancy is until about 27~28. After that age, (hard to explain though) it’s like a finish time of something (still don’t know why I thought like that way) I’d lived with waiting for the end. Of course, I’m a person who didn’t admit all human will die someday, I really! totally! don’t want to die forever. Cause of that, I considered to have a religion. Such a precious and fun to live every moment though should I die one day? annoying me. Anyways it’s not that type of end, I just had spent time like that. Never memorable, thrown out of times in a silly fashion. Feel likes a hiking in Rocky mountains in past which I really wanted to give up cause of endless path, I was in eclipse. Will never turn up what I’ve waited with not knowing, it won’t change the situation like this. Need to start to do anything. So first, I drew croquis what made me shine in past, and then now I’m spending time to make things which can fill my weakness up. The things I tried at random are becoming my regular activities now.
Drawing - Draw nude croquis every Sunday morning for 2hours
English - Attend an English presentation group once per 2weeks - When makes a sentence, doesn’t have a sense of conjunction about..when use it or when omit it. Should fix a bad habit to overuse ‘so’ and put ‘but’ just anywhere (Adding, I want to be good at omitting of all needless connectives and I don’t want to start ‘I’ always)
Reading - Find books to make me think deeply not just much. Funny, I bought a few books cause of the cover design is nice and then I found the author’s name are Friedrich Wilhelm Nietz´sche, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Charles Dickens :(
Work - Do read UX books which a UX designer recommended for me (I didn’t it yet, actually I don’t want to read) - Understand about Development Language (It wouldn’t work out forever) - Learn FramerJS, studying for 2hours every weekend (It wouldn’t work out too, I don’t want to study CoffeeScript because all people said it’s an useless language) - Do communication well in the meeting (Just learn the flows of complicated services first and then should know well which direction correct is, it’s kind of impossible to know the answer before a trial and error. So I became an introvert in the meeting, It’s not a reason I’m a mute! so, I’m a mute)
And  - Make many opportunities which can see nice sceneries (I was born under doing it) - Listen attracted music (I’m proud of my music taste)
I really like my team boss. The more she knows, she is a perfect designer who has many strong points. Come to think of it, she has everything. Looks young (even she is a mother of a kid), nice personality, do design really well, a so logical person, doesn’t hold grudges, a good speaker above all things, she isn’t arrogant. This point is really important. I wish I’m not an arrogant character. (I think,, this ‘arrogant’ expression might be wrong.. 재수없는 사람.. 오만한 거 말고 anyways) I don’t care about other co-workers but I care for her, especially I want to admit as a designer who she wants to work with. But sometimes,, when she said ‘Did you understand the meaning I said? Did you know it? Did you really understand it? I ‘seriously’ feel depressed. Yeh of course, I did it, I did - if I don’t mention it, it means I understood it. If I didn’t I asked you already! When I communicate with other part team, she occasionally wrote a mail instead of I write then I feel reassured but at the same time bitter feelings cover me up. I can do that level of communication.. Sure, the other party, a planner who is really stuffy and stupid, I know. And also she is stubborn and her ears plugged up so it’s unable to communicate with though.. Nothing, nothing, well,, because of her email, I could less work, it’s truth.
In past, I really wanted to draw nice icon which it has perfect balance without any unnecessities After I could draw icon pretty well and then I wanted to be a designer who has detail eyes which can manage pixel well even about 0.5px (It’s totally ridiculous) And then a designer who has great sense of font. And then a designer who is strong about grid, layout with amazing spacing sense. I’m not perfect still but at least, I can make not bad design. Anyways I’m still upgrading of my design skill but now the next step, communication is shouting at me that like ‘come on! I’m waiting baby!’ It’s endless feeling again. Again, I can’t see the result still. It won’t turn up if I’m waiting again because I don’t have any goal in my head. I really don’t know how can I fill me up and make me up which direction? Just now, I keep to make something and build something because I don’t have any choice.

Rough Admin Flow for Flatmates App
youtube
Just a quick flow I did for an app my roommates and I came up with called Flatmates. The app is going nowhere fast, I mostly did this to practice a new library in framer.js called Flow Component, which provides state control in the Framer project.

Stepper Touch
Stepper-Touch
Stepper Touch for Android based on a Material Up showcase designed by Oleg Frolov
In the latest version of the support library (25.3.0) a new class SpringAnimation was made available. I wanted to test this out and not long after that I found Stepper Touch, a concept made in FramerJS, on Material Up. I took this oppertunity to play with SpringAnimations.
