Cats! Rats! Animals in general! I enjoy creatures. Not as big a fan of dogs/canids as I am of other animals, but I can appreciate them from a distance.

Art, writing, animation, and generally making stuff! Right now, I'm working on a remake of an animatic from a multi-animator project call I made back in 2020, though it'll just be a standalone video this time. Don't have the energy to revive that one when I'm still hosting All I See is Darkness and I'm getting the audio together for a Warriors parody series.

Gonna say whump and hurt/comfort cause I've been on a whump kick lately. It helps me study for class cause when I need to memorize a medicine's effects or an illness's symptoms, I can just torture a blorbo.

Angsty music. Gotta imagine my blorbo suffering to something, lmao. Icon for Hire will never not be my favorite (they recently released a collab with Citizen Soldier, another artist I like!). YouTube handed me Sharp Pains by Hang Your Hate so I've been listening to that on loop. They have some other songs so I'm probably gonna check those out soon. But if you wanna get real edgy, TX2 has some great songs (one of my favorites is Loaded Guns).

This one is very specific, but I've been playing Sonic Origins the past couple of weeks (asked for it for my birthday) and I'm partway through Sonic 2. Tails's sprite is absolutely adorable and made me push through a couple of sections I would've been too frustrated by otherwise cause I've got a little dude following me. I'm not particularly great at video games, but when I'm too tired to draw, they bring me joy.

The Ultra Stage 2 English Subtitles for DVD

Here are the ENGLISH subtitles for the second stage version of My Hero Academia: “My Hero Academia: The "Ultra” Stage A True Hero, Plus Ultra version" (Japanese title: 「僕のヒーローアカデミア」The “Ultra"Stage 本物の英雄ヒーローPLUS ULTRA ver.).

(2/Jan/2023: bakuhatsufallinlove went through more proofreading and fixed some mistakes! This was done for the main disc file, not yet for the panoramic version file)

The subtitles are in .ass formats and were synced using Aegisub.

Musical2_MP4 is for the main show in disc 1. Instead, Musical2_PanoramicMP4 is for the panoramic camera view of disc 2.

These subtitles are synced with the officially released dvd but can be used only after transforming the dvd (which has multiple vobs files) into a video file.

In order, this is what you need to do to fully enjoy the musical with subtitles:

How to add the Ultra Stage subtitles to your video

HOW TO WATCH THE MUSICAL WITH SUBTITLES

When you insert the dvd you will see this menu. (Translations of DVD menus will also be shared with the subtitles, and they have been done by frenchlizardbrainfullofktdk here on tumblr).

Click on the first option ("Main film") to watch the musical!

Subtitles unfortunately do not work directly on the dvd files because dvds videos are divided in small files called VOBS. So the first step is transforming your dvd into a video file. This process should work for blu ray too.

There are two ways to do it, with VLC or with MakeMKV.

MAKEMKV PROCESS

You can find MakeMkv here: https://www.makemkv.com

It does confirm that it works for both dvds and blu rays, also make sure to use an antivirus because my first time downloading this last year, my pc kept giving me warnings. But this new version (now in October 2023) seems to be working without problems.

Download and install the program.

VLC PROCESS

You will need: your dvd (in our case we are using dvd 1, which is the one with the main musical), VLC (a program used to watch movies and open video files) and a dvd reader for your pc (I used HP USB External DVDRW Drive GP70N).

1) First put the dvd in your dvd reader (attached to your pc), then open VLC. Click on "Media" (top menu, first option) and select "Convert/Save". If you don't have VLC you can download it here (it's free).

2) Now, select "Disc" and check that DVD (if you have the dvd and not the blu-ray) is selected. Your disc device should automatically appear. Then click "Convert/Save" (if the saving does't start automatically you will need to click play, and you will see the blue vlc bar quickly moving, showing you the progress, it might take an hour!).

Keep in mind that this might lower your dvd quality!!

If you want to look at alternative methods (that I have tried myself so they should work) for better dvd quality - I WILL LOOK FOR MORE POSSIBLE OPTIONS.

3a) (VLC) If VLC is the program you use to watch movies/open video files, then you will have your musical starting automaticall in VLC.

Click on the menu option "Subtitles" and select "Add subtitles File"

(You can also right click on the video, and select "Subtitles" -> "Add subtitles file")

Now you can search the folder where you saved the subtitles and select the file, before clicking open.

And this is it! When you click on play, the subtitles will be automatically added and synced! If they don't start immediately, allow a couple of seconds.

If you don't have VLC you can download it here (it's free).

3b) If you use Windows Media Player, you might have to install an extension. There are also other programs, but I always recommend VLC as it is the easiest one for subtitles.

i have found a patern : katchan narrates when bad shit happening to him. End of patern (i actually almost cryind see those leaks oKAY !)

I, too, have found a pattern:

I just thought about something : ain't Katsuki vs Katsuki, just a very long fight that started at the beggining of the story and still hasn't ended. And the fight is Katsuki just trying to figure who he is actually. Like we all have a hard time understanding him and so does he ? Like I saw someone say he's a hard character to write in fanfiction because even he can't define himself. Like he's very confident exept he isn't really and he's very proud exept he thinks lowly of himself in a way. Ain't Katsuki vs Katsuki just Katchan's entire character arc ? What are your thoughts on this ?

Well, this is awkward—because for me Katsuki is the only character who’s easy to write and all the others are difficult ahahahahahahahahaha oops?

But if you’re having trouble understanding Katsuki despite your efforts, it’s probably because...well, MHA is a coming-of-age story, and Katsuki’s no exception to that arc. These are children aspiring to become great heroes. They aren’t there yet. Naturally there must be learning and struggle along the way. So yes, Katsuki vs. Katsuki has been playing out before our eyes for the entire story ever since the beginning. I can agree with that take handily.

With any luck, you may have a similar experience in your past to draw on to get into his headspace, like a time you were jealous or admired someone, or a time someone came along and unseated you from your throne in something and fired you up to prove yourself. Think of something you have pride in and how you’d feel if your skill was called into question by some new upset and your own high standards for yourself.

...and if you’ve never played sports or anything particularly competitive, look up something about that and maybe some game theory, because a lot of Katsuki’s arrogance is just posturing for strategic purposes. Intimidation and psyching people out can definitely be of use in combat, and Katsuki demonstrably engages in this purely for strategic purposes on several occasions.

Also, protip: look up Inferiority Superiority Complex. That’s a good place to start.
