I really enjoyed making this one for a coworkers birthday. She told me about how she makes little clay frogs and I knew I had to make this for her!

I was almost done, but I couldn't just leave the background white, so I added in the light blue with a half stitch. It really just pulled it all together for me.

I'd say I'm very much an earth girl: the outdoorsy, camping, hiking, exploring, gardening with my bare hands kind. I was always catching frogs and garter snakes and salamanders as a kid, just so I could say hi to them and tell them how cool they were before sending them on their way

Fun story: part of my wedding reception was in an open field near some trees and a cute little wood frog was on his way through. I tried to chase him down in my wedding dress to say hi, but couldn't run in heels (I have poor balance) so Hubby caught him for me and now I have a wedding picture with a frog

(somewhat) heavily inspired by Hazel Villages’ Lewis toad who I think is super cute but I do not have the money to buy him.
