a yawn escaping her lips,  yasmin took a sip of the coffee she had. with the snow storm over and everything open, heading to the daily dose after dropping emine off was much needed. plus she did have some time before work to kill. "heres to hoping we don't get that much snow again." she said to herself. closing the book she had with her, she leaned back in the seat. a small sigh escaping her lips, she was praying that there would no more snow. at least not for another week or two. maybe longer if possible.

SHE LIGHTS UP AT THIS NEW INFORMATION, doesn't know why she's envisioned life in the spotlight to be more like a bird in a cage. still clementine keeps close to coco as they leave the hotel, feeling a bit like an impostor — coco is a star, in every sense of the word, and clem is just a nobody who happens to have a guitar. « okay, good to know, thanks, » she smiles, scanning the area around them for options. « should we bring something back to the room for athena too ? »

"i am a veterinarian. i am a trained professional." the frustrated chanting under her breath did not change the fact that, at the moment, clem auclair was stacking packs of puppy pee pads in the front window of the waiting office that doubled as a pet shop for the town. the packs were extremely heavy and unwieldy, and clem was glad to be called away from her task by the jingling of the doorbell. she could already see who it was.

"how's my favourite customer?" she was pretty sure by this point that he didn't actually have a dog, but he was good company.

i was rereading one of my WIP short stories and while i don't remember writing this, it absolutely knocked me out

it's probably a little weird receiving a bouquet from me, huh? ..truthfully, i don't really know how you feel about your birthday right now, but i still wanted to do a little something to let you know that you're important to me and that i was thinking about you. i also thought it was a nice little ode to our friendship, given i've always had a habit of talking your ear off about the language of flowers.

i’m not too sure how much you remember, though, so i thought it might be best to share the why i chose the flowers i did:

orange roses and pink carnations symbolize sincere gratitude and happiness.

did you know that you were the first friend i ever made? before school started, i didn’t really get to do much because of my mother’s health, so there weren’t many opportunities for me to meet other kids or spend time with them.. then i lost her and i didn’t think i’d ever be normal. until i met you, with your big brain and love for the bane of my existence. i know i was a pain and probably very annoying, but i’m very grateful that you’ve shared your existence with me all these years. there’s still pain there whenever i think back, of course, but there’s also a lot of sunshine, too, and that’s all thanks to you.

white matthiolas symbolize happiness and contentment in life.

i know those words may be hard pills to swallow right now, and i understand that completely. in my experience, it may take awhile before you ever feel “better”, but i hope you can take some sort of comfort in knowing that grief doesn’t last forever and i wish you a lifetime of both happiness and contentment.

eustomas symbolize appreciation and admiration. white tulips symbolize respect.

i don’t have much to say as to why they’ve made it into the mix because i think they speak for themselves.

thank you again for sharing your existence with me and for being my friend. i wouldn’t trade you for anything in the universe. happy (belated) birthday.

˖ ✧ ★ ────────────   “ LISTEN, EBENEZER SCROOGE– “ it was one of those crisp november mornings ; the kind where you could see your breath in the air outside and clementine had to subway instead of bike to work. the leaves had all but fallen from the one lone tree standing in the median on the road ahead of their lonely little hole in the wall, and very few customers had decided to brave the new cold chill for their morning coffee. so, with no rush in sight, clem thought now– right now– was the perfect time to hang up the assorted christmas lights that mostly lay unused in the storage closet. she was throwing herself all in on the festivities this year– trying to avoid the gross, unwanted feeling that had settled into her gut after everything that had occurred on halloween. ( and still make the most of her holidays, even if they’d end up being celebrated alone. )

    that was difficult, however, when she worked with the world’s biggest grinch. clementine had thought imogen had been difficult to persuade– but she would take her ex-girlfriend’s pouting over nate’s straight out refusal any day. almost stumbling on the ladder over the myriad of wired lights she had managed to tangle herself in, clem planted her hand on one of the rungs to steady herself and then glanced down at nate. “ i think the hat is cute. it makes you more approachable, and less like you’re about to piss in someone’s oatmeal just because they told you good morning. “ attempting to pull the lights over her head in a last-ditch effort to free herself from her snare, she paused, before suddenly gasping and looking over her shoulder. “ oh– shoot. there’s not even a plug on this side of the diner. “

“ i haven’t slept for twenty six hours , i’m so close to a breakthrough on my lightsaber design but my deadline is coming up and i’ve got to email to my advisor at caltech. not to mention that aza got arrested again , cooper might be dead in the wilderness somewhere in the world , it’s been like a week now ? noah is dating not one but two rich men who are best friends and i don’t know if they’ll break her heart or she’ll run away from them ?  the parentals are too busy with each other to care and pop is dead now , “ the words trailed off as he looked at her , so it’s me now. chest heaving , it felt like he couldn’t breathe as one hand pushed back floppy brown hair and looked over to his best friend. “ tell me what to do , please. “ @clementinefm​

Anyways, here’s Clem (ft. AJ), kinda just a little sketch page. I have no excuse for taking this long other than procrastination. But I’m a woman of my word, so the Furry has given you furry art. Are you happy or disappointed?

Clemmy is based off of spaniels and shelties. So perhaps she’s a bit of both. Maybe next I’ll draw Tenn and AJ together? I need to make up for the eight months I was dilly dallying.

     SILENTLY,  CLEMENTINE  IS  GRATEFUL  she  gets  to  share  a  hotel  room  with  athena  and  coco.  they  seem  genuinely  sweet  and  the  midnight  fighters  intimidate  her  too  much  —  the  exception  being  christian,  who  simultaneously  charms  her  and  gets  on  her  nerves.

     athena  is  god  knows  where  and  so  it’s  only  coco  and  clem  left  in  the  room.  clem  stands  in  the  middle  of  it,  gazing  around,  before  eyes  settle  on  coco.  she’s  bashful,  hands  in  her  pockets,  when  she  speaks.  «  so,  how  does  this  work  ?  »  she  asks,  clueless.  «  like  ..  when  do  we  eat  ?  »  tour  has  been  thrown  at  her  much  like  fame  has  as  well  and  she’s  having  a  tough  time  adjusting.
