would any of your characters be able to survive in a post apocalyptic wasteland? would they be able to live comfortably or would every second be miserable agony for them?
Depends on what starts the apocalypse in the first place, but I think Setsuya would get by fine using Gen’ei as a literal attack dog thing. Setsy is usually disaster-prepared but it’d probably take a toll on Gen’ei
I’d give it maybeee 3 dats to a week of post apocalyptic wasteland life before Mōrin snaps and goes back to eating/cannibalizing dragons. He would eat people bro on god
Hinoenma wouldn’t last 💔 she would’nt know how to handle it. she’d go insane and die/kill herself or something
On the other hand, Nisshoku is doing great, she’d thrive in an environment like that
Fukuyo started the apocalypse. Idk how but he did. This is his fault.

With the alliance to the Italian group made, it drew the attention of those closer to home, there was a smaller group on the east side of Yokohama that had requested a meeting with Mori to discuss an alliance. The problem was that there was only a small amount of information available, the only thing that was known was that the leader was cold enough to kill her sister for the position of leader. There wasn’t even any information on a trust group to mirror the executives.
Mori had called all the executives into a meeting upon receiving the letter Fuyuko and Koyo had attended in person, with Chuya phoning in from his mission overseas. “I have received a letter of invitation to alliance with Higashi.” Mori explained. “What do they want in return?” Koyo asked. “Wealth it would seem.” Mori answered as he laid out the letter for Foyoko and Koyo to see, they both quickly skimmed over the message taking in the most important parts and while no one said it they were all suspicious of the meeting and alliance. “If wealth is all they are asking for then maybe we should entertain them, at least until we can find out what it is that the plan to offer and what else they want to take.” Koyo answered, Foyoko gave a clipped nod from the side. “Chuya?” Mori asked. “I don’t see the problem, as long as you can take ‘em.” Chuya answered. “We should be just fine.” Mori answered “continue with your mission and report back when you have something for me.” “Yes sir.” Chuya nodded before the line went dead. “Now for the issue back here, Koyo I would like you to meet with them where they have specified, bring a few trusted members and see what you can find out.” Mori ordered. “Fuyuko stay here, be ready to go at any time, Koyo may need you.” “Yes sir.” They both said before leaving the room.
Fuyuko walked out of the meeting room phone in hand, she quickly dialled Chuya’s number, he picked up immediately. “So what’s happening?” He asked. “He’s sending Koyo to meet them tomorrow.” Fuyuko answered. “What? You don’t think that’s a good idea?” Chuya asked. “I’m just worried about it, everything about this seems like a trap.” She answered with a shrug. “I’m sure that she’s going to be fine, it’s Koyo we’re talking about.” Chuya tried to cheer you up and you nodded to yourself. “That being said, I do think that you're right not to trust this woman, I don’t like her.” “Maybe that’s just what she wants people to think.” You suggested. “Even if it was, she killed her sister to gain power, if you betray your family like that, then you will betray anyone, we should be careful around her, even if she’s on our side now that could change at the drop of a hat.” Chuya explained. “Maybe I should talk to Mori about this tomorrow.” She mumbled “anyway how is the mission going?” “It’s going well, we should be back tomorrow.” He explained and she smiled. “Do you need me to pick you up from the airport?” Fuyuko asked. “No, I have someone picking me up already, one of the Port Mafia drivers.” He answered. “I could be your driver, if you could offer a wine good enough.” She teased. “What wine would that be?” He asked. “You know the one.” She answered as a smile stretched across her face as she headed back to her office. “Yeah, you're too expensive.” He said dismissively she could almost see him in her head waving in the air as if waving off the sentence itself. “I thought you might say that.” She said, “It’s late. I should get some rest but I will talk to you later.” He promised. “Yeah, talk to you later.” She said before hanging up the phone, she turned to the window where the sun shone brightly, snapping a picture and sending it to Chuya with a small caption ‘goodnight’, only a few seconds later did Chuya send back a message telling her to get lost in much more explicit words.
Fuyuko walked back to her office, noting the sleeping bag on her desk and smiling. Alexist had left it there before college, asking for her to keep it safe until he was done. She glanced over at the clock and realised that he should have been done by now, she called his number but no one picked up, instead she was sent to voicemail, she hung up frowning down at her phone, something felt wrong, Fuyuko sighed before shaking her head, he was a teenager he was likely still in class or out with friends from college, everything seemed to have her on edge these days. Hours later it was time to pack up work for the day, everything from paperwork to bomb tests with Kajii had been done, she locked Alexist’s sleeping bag in her desk to keep it safe as you promised before picking up her helmet and heading out for the night.
Fuyuko walked into the Ramen shop with the bell announcing her arrival “Hey there!” The owner smiled as she walked towards the counter “we haven’t seen you in a while, where have you been?” “I’ve been busy with work.” Fukuyo answered. “What do you do?” The owner asked, placing the menu in front of Fukuyo, who waved her off. “Nothing interesting, just filling out paperwork for someone else.” She lied as she looked over the menu. “Really is that all?” The owner prompted. “No need to pester her love, she’s hungry, let her order.” Her husband said from the back of the shop. “Oh of course what would you like dear?” She asked. “Will it be the same as always fried rice?” “Yes.” Fuyuko answered. “Only fried rice?” Her husband asked from the window that led into the kitchen, “You really should try some of the other things on the menu.” “Hush, let her order whatever she wants.” The owner finally said before going into the back to retrieve the food you had ordered. Fuyuko’s eyes travelled around the shop, eyes catching on the table in the corner where you used to sit with Chuya and Dazai, Kouji even joined her sometimes. This place reminded her of all the good times she spent with her friends, in a way it was a safe haven because here, they were just people, even if it was only for a little while. Fukuyo turned back to the counter hearing the owner arguing with her husband as she walked out of the kitchen. Fukuyo’s eyes widened at the size of the bowl in her hands, it was larger than the usual order of fried rice. “If you’ve been working so hard that you haven’t been around here very often then you must be skipping meals, eat up while you can.” “Careful, I might darken your door more often,” Fukuyo thanked her for the meal before starting to eat, hearing the chuckle from her husband at her previous comment. Fukuyo was brought back to her first date with Chuya, they had done a challenge that was being held there, Fukuyo hadn’t even managed to make it a quarter of the way but she watched at Chuya kept eating, he was so close to beating the challenge but he ended up spilling the ramen broth on his shirt, the owners rushed to help him clean his shirt but it was decided that he’d have to go back home and change so the date ended there. “Would you like a drink?” The owner asked, holding up a bottle of her favourite alcohol. “No, not today, I’m driving.” Fukuyo answered and she nodded before turning to the door as it opened announcing another customer. Fukuya was pulled into yet another memory one with Dazai and Kouji both of which weren’t with her anymore, Dazai was messing around in the ship acting like a child dragging both Fukuyo and the owners husband into the little prank that he planning only to get scolded by the owner and Kouji upon being found out.
The person who had walked in had gone ridged upon looking at her, she glanced out of the corner of her eyes realising that it was Atsushi, he still seemed to be afraid of her so she kept her eyes on her rice as she continued to eat, he seemed to relax when you didn’t immediately start a fight, he sat down as the owner came back with his food “don’t mind her, she’s a little quiet but she means no harm.” The owner said. “O-oh okay thank you.” He said as he took the food from her. “How’s Dazai.” She finally asked after a second of silence. “He’s fine, he was the one who told me to come here.” Atsushi answered and you looked at him and smiled. “Of course he did, he’s probably not allowed back here.” Fukuyo muttered. “What?” Atsushi asked. “He’s gotten into a lot of trouble here and I’m sure that it didn’t matter that he wasn’t with me anymore.” She shrugged and he nodded. “He still gets in a lot of trouble.” Atsushi answered with a small smile on his face as he seemed to think back to something that had happened recently. “Well try and keep yourself out of the trouble that he causes.” She said softly before putting the money on the counter and leaving.
Fukuyo drove to a convenience store near the ramen shop and walked over to the smoking area, she watched the smoke swirl into the air as she exhaled eyes travelling to the end of the road where she saw a black car, the same one that she had seen outside the Port Mafia building, it had to be following her, she snuffed out the cigarette on the wall before disappearing into the shop to buy something. She came back out driving a little further down the road and into a more shadowy area, she got off the back heading into the shadows, she watched as the man climbed out of the car and walked towards the bike “why are you following me?” Fukuyo asked, the man turned standing at his full height, Fukuyo’s eyes widened as she realised that the man was abnormally tall, it was rare that she found anyone that was the same height as her, let alone dwarfed her, she knew that there was something different about him the moment that she realised his height.
The rest happened quickly. He covered ground faster than she had expected his fist pulled back to connect with her face, she stumbled slightly before regaining her balance blocking his next punch and twisting to land a kick as well, they both pulled out their weapons at the same time, the man slightly faster and managing to shot Fukuyo in the shoulder, the pain rippled through her as she fell forward, the man catching her around the throat before throwing her into the wall. He bent down and picked up the knife that she had been holding. He walked over crouching, still towering over her as he placed the tip of the knife under her chin and moved her head up to look at him, he lifted his elbow to smack her head back into the wall but Fukuyo hardened her skin in time to stop the attack before knocking his arm away and headbutting him, causing him to drop the knife again, she sharpened her nails with her ability scratching him across the face before kicking him away. Fukuyo then pulled out the rope that she had bought from the store before coming here, she had every intention of taking him back for questioning but was stopped by the police sirens, the man on the floor took the opportunity to shoot her in the arm running back to the car and tearing away. She grit her teeth. She wanted to follow him but she needed to get away from the police, she climbed onto her bike tearing down the road, arm cradled to her chest as drove away from the scene. Fukuyo stopped at a corner when her phone started to ring “What?” She asked. “Fukuyo, someone attacked Alexist, he’s badly hurt.” Yuki informed her. “Where are you?” She asked. “At the base.” Yuki answered. “Alright I’ll be there soon, wait for me, if anything changes tell me.” She ordered before continuing on her way back to the base.
Chuya waited for his driver, eyes scanning over the crowd, eyes catching on a woman with a beautiful dress and scorpion fan in hand, his eyes caught hers for a second before the car pulled up in front of him “You ready boss?” The driver asked. “Yeah.” He answered looking away, he walked to the passenger side in the back while the driver put his luggage in the boot of the car. He looked back over at where he saw the woman but she wasn’t there, he sat in the car and waited for the driver to get back in and they started the car. “How was the flight?” The driver asked as they pulled out of the airport. “Some kid kept kicking the back of my seat, you’d think that with all the money the port mafia makes we could afford to send the executives on business class or something.” Chuya complained, the driver laughed as he glanced at him through the wing mirror. “Anything happen here?” “Alexist, the kid on Fukuyo’s team was attacked last night, he’s still not awake, so we don't know who attacked him.” She explained. “Hmm.” Chuya hummed as he looked out the window, there was silence for a second before the driver spoke again. “Are you going to take off the hat?” “Why what’s wrong with my hat?” Chuya asked. “Nothing, it's just tacky.” She answered and he growled, closing the divider and ending the conversation.
Chuya walked into Mori’s office to give his report but something seemed off “what’s going on?” Chuya asked. “Alexist and Fukuyo were attacked yesterday.” Mori answered. “Alexist woke up this morning and Fukuyo has gone to see him.” “There was someone at the airport, I didn’t think anything of it at the time but she seemed to be watching me. She was wearing a really nice dress and had a scorpion fan.” Chuya explained, he watched as Mori’s face darkened. “That’s the leader of Higashi.” Mori answered. “The leader! What was she doing at the airport?” Chuya asked, there was a knock at the door before Fukuyo walked in, her eyes landing on Chuya, a smile that quickly turned to a wince stretched across her face, he wanted to know the extent of your injuries but this wasn’t the time to ask instead he waited for her report, he’d ask her later when they were alone. “What did he say?” Mori asked. “The person that attacked him matches the description of the man that attacked me last night.” She answered. “The meeting today is too dangerous to send Koyo to now.” Mori said hands clasped in front of him “I want you two to go.” “Both of us?” Fukuyo asked. “Yes both of you, go and get ready, this is going to be dangerous but I need you both to show them why the Mafia is not to be trifled with.” Mori ordered.
“Hey are you okay?” Chuya asked as you both left the office. “I can fight.” She answered. “That’s not what I asked you.” Chuya grumbled as he turned her to look at him, he assessed everything from the wounds on her shoulder and arm to the bruises on her cheeks. “He did all of that?” You nodded as you launched into the story of everything that happened that night, not missing a single detail of the way that Chuya’s face scrunched up when you mentioned seeing Atsushi.
Higashi’s leader was already at the meeting place by the time that they got there “you’re late.” She said as she laid eyes on them. “Well we wouldn’t have been if you hadn’t tried to kill people last night.” Chuya said as Fukuyo stood behind him. “Well I didn’t think that he’d send you, can you even fight after what happened to your arm and you, you’ve just gotten back from overseas, you're the best they could do?” She asked. “We’re more than enough.” Chuya answered “you should feel honoured that he even still wants to make a deal with you.” Chuya informed her. “He’s still interested in a deal because he’s seen what we can do, we’re dangerous enemies.” She sneered, “Now where are my prizes?” “Brave of you to come here on your own.” Chuya muttered. “My base is not far, only a few streets over. If I need help, it'll be here.” She promised. “Tch, take it over.” He ordered the driver, who carried over the bag placing it at her feet before stepping away. “Satisfied?” “Perfect.” She smirked. “So where is your sign of allegiance now?” Chuya asked, arms crossing over his chest while his hand rested on the knife hidden in his shirt. “You stupid boy.” She smirked as she pulled out a gun pointing it at him, at the last second she changed target and shot the driver. You moved quicker than Chuya did, activating your ability and shielding the driver, stopping at hits from being successful. Chuya moved forward attempting to stab the leader, she blocked using her fan before attempting to hit him, he grabbed the fan breaking it easily with the added gravitational pressure before elbowing her in the face. “Was that supposed to hurt?” Chuya growled before kicking out, adding his power to it, causing her to fly back, hitting the floor hard. Chuya moved to attack her again but a new guy moved to protect her. “He’s the one that attacked me last night, be careful he’s fast.” Fukuyo informed him. “You do that to his face?” Chuya asked. “Yes.” She answered. “Good job.” He smirked as dodged the hit from the man, he dodged under the kit delivering a kick to the bottom of his chin, the man fell back and Chuya stomped down on his stomach before kicking him in the side of the head, Chuya turned away from the man and walked towards the leader. Fukuyo noticed the movement of the man on the floor as he tried to get out his gun and grabbed the gun on the floor near her, shooting at his hand and stopping him from shooting at Chuya. Recognition crossed his face as he changed targets, Fukuyo activated her ability as Chuya fell back behind her, he was quick to dress the driver's wound and calm her down as Fukuyo kept them at bay with the shots that she still had. The leader had now fallen behind the taller man for cover, they both moved back behind the wall a little to their left, Fukuyo flipped up one of the tables that littered the streets ducking behind it. “Move her back.” Fukuyo ordered Chuya as she continued to shoot. Fukuyo didn’t realise the man had made his way around the back, she heard him at the last second and managed to knock his gun out of his hand, her last bullet aimed for his head, only for a smoke bomb to be thrown she dodged as something flew at you and both Higashi members disappeared, She moved to follow them before remembering the injured driver and heading back to help Chuya.
Fukuyo and Chuya sat outside the medical ward at the base, Fukuyo holding Chuya’s hand in silence, she knew that he was angry at himself for letting his subordinate get hurt, she had felt the same way when she got the call from Yuki and Alexist. “This isn’t your fault.” It was the only thing that she could think to say. “Shouldn’t have happened.” Chuya muttered and you nodded. “I know, I said the same thing to Alexist, but we’ve still got time to get revenge for them, I’m sure Mori will send us out again and this time we’ll kill them.” She shrugged. “Of course.” He muttered, “I won’t settle for anything else.” “Then we have work to do, once we know that she’s okay, we’ll make the report and come up with a plan.” Fukuyo nodded, “we’ll kill them no matter what.”

A purpled haired boy in a dress was on his way to school, carrying his bookbag and a book - ??? (Jojo-incorporated)
Once in the schoolyard, he passes a girl. Then another. Then another, until it’s clear that around fifteen of them are milling about in the area for a reason that, if he’s been here long enough, is now obvious.
A few of them are standing around talking excitedly to eachother, holding boxes like they’re something precious, others are looking forward in palpable anticipation, and at the center of it all is (who else?) Fukuyo Terumi, handing out something.
…At least they’re not in a hallway, that’ll make it way less of a pain to get through this mess.

Toru jogs up to the meeting spot Taiana had specified. He’s likely not the first there, but he IS there on time for once.

Taiana turned, noticing his approach, and waved. "Good to see you are at least on time for this." She said, but the smile on her face indicated that - for once - she was actually joking.

“Oho? Could that be… The Kanade-chan of myth?”
Kunio freezes up, the clothes he’s collected nearly slipping from his arms… Only to repeat the process when he realizes who it is that’s talking to him.
It’s Fukuyo Terumi.
Kunio hasn’t ever interacted with Terumi before, but her reputation is so prevalent that even a social outcast like him knows who she is and what she’s known for… Sure enough, when he turns to face her, she’s got a girl clinging to each arm, both regarding him questioningly.
“It is, isn’t it? I must have overestimated how elusive you are, though I’m glad to have run into you!”
“How, uh…
How do you know I…??”
“Ah, that… Is certainly a question, isn’t it.”
Terumi’s expression of realization changes to one of concern for a moment before addressing the two girls.
“Iria-chan, Runo-chan… Could you give me a moment to speak with Kanade-chan here? It’s… Rather personal.”
“Eeeh… Terumi-sama, that’s not fai-”
The other girl circles Terumi to elbow the one who had spoken, who squeaks before falling silent and looking disappointed.
“You’re right, I shouldn’t be making you wait when we came here together…”
Terumi bends down and cups the girl’s face with one of her hands.
“But I promise to make it up to you both however you like.”
“Te- Te- Te-!!” The girl’s face flushes, then she falls silent and quickly nods.
Both girls (reluctantly) head off as Terumi guides Kunio to an emptier corner of the store.
Kunio’s thoughts are going a mile a minute trying to rationalize what this could possibly be about, but none of them feel actually plausible. Even the possibility of Sachi having snitched after all… Somehow doesn’t feel like something that Terumi would have specifically sought him out over.
“I’m sorry about that. The two of them aren’t in on this.”
“Aaaaare… They not…?”
“No… As much as I hate to send them away, they aren’t magical girls, so I needed to speak to you alone.”
“Huh?”
