I made this Styanax drawing for a contest being ran by @medusacaptures for her 2nd Warframe creator program anniversary!! You can find the link to her post about it here! (though it's ending in like 7 hours as of writing this, oops lol)
You might also perhaps recognize the eyestrain colors from a certain Tennotober piece... :)
(...i was running out of time lmao)

Kind of an unhinged one tbh lol, had a lot of struggles with the initial rough sketches as I tried to figure out what I even wanted this drawing to be. One of the recurring ideas was with something relating the parazon with Requiem mods with Styanax Tonatiuh, but it just felt like too big of a stretch and I couldn't figure out the posing fast enough
not my usual content, but I'm so proud of how I decorated my bathroom! the towels arrived today & everything came together! it was such an ugly and tiny bathroom, with no storage at all, so impersonal and cold. but not anymore! some are things I got throughout the months, and I decided that since I'm going to stay here for a couple more years, I could spend a bit on bathroom textiles, so I got these new ones.
suuuurreeee gotchu~~ midnight, mistake, and pain for lucas samsa?
Midnight - Given how much he works he should sleep like a log, YET. He's always got something on his mind. The hospital. Teddy. His parents. His siblings. Arthur. Mags. Amy. The latest medical journals. Money. Mostly he just ruminates in bed next to Teddy, and lets himself be held if his husband wakes up and notices.
Mistake - Lucas isn't allowed to make mistakes. Not personally, not professionally. There's too much to risk, too much balanced on his shoulders. Mistakes mean death, or prison, or poverty. (When he was in France, he performed surgery on a boy that looked too much like Eli. He doesn't know how many hours into his shift he was. His vision blurred, his hand shook. The boy died. Lucas hasn't quite been able to look his brother in the eye since.)
Pain - Lucas' pain tolerance is pretty high, since he tends to just barrel on through whatever he's feeling. There's something about the idea that doctors make the worst patients that rings very true about Lucas. He broke his nose in a fight once, though, and the sharp, blinding, pain of the break itself, then the awful, stinging, pulsing afterwards is definitely up there in physical pain he's felt.
trying to figure out how to get more kitchen out of my kitchen and more closet out of my closet and i think i just need to accept that i have reached my limit when it comes to folding space to store more shit
