So.. If Hunter is one of the people who made UNITY androids.. IT MEANS THAT HUNTER IS LIKE A FATHER TO BEE?😳
- Anonyo
No.
The UNITY Project was conducted by Gideon (Hunter) and performed by a team of students that include Kauan and Camille.
He simply said "Y'all must meet this specific goal" and they followed his instructions, and added their own personal touch to the UNITY androids.
It's more likely that B2 viewed Camille as a mentor figure, given the fact she was the technician behind her looks, personality database and activation.
Kauan was the one who always repaired B2 and upgraded her mechanisms so she could move more efficiently.
Moreover, B2 wasn't "born". Her core's provided her with a primitive sense of existence way before (and I mean way before, like thousands of millions of years) she was activated.
She could be defined as "an ancient consciousness is given a robotic body to perceive the world, though it can't always control how it works and responds to stimuli"
By the way, Gideon couldn't care less about the project when he was so worried about the next race. He'd rather abandon everything and let his team down to pilot a plane than help build a single piece of machinery.

I noticed Camille ear and Kauans arm. I was wondering, B2 has a very human-like look, it seems like she was not human at some point, due to the purple metal skeleton underneath her face, but with Camille and her friend, did those replacement robot features happen to be from injury in war? or are they slowly turning themselves into androids?
I also realized the one pilot, who I would now assume that is Gideon (i had my suspicions it was b2 before she was a robot, but now we know she is a robot)
When B2, or Beatrix is asking Gideon ifv he was responsible for UNITY and B2 is a UNITY android, if Gideon could be a part to play in her creation, did the creators somehow take pecies from the coment to make her life source?
AND B2 MET HUNTER IS HUNTER IS GIDEON AND BUT SHE DIDNT KNOW? oh my gosh..
(sorry for the long ask im attacthed to the robots)
me looking at this ask. (time to lore dump)
Camille and Kauan weren't there when the war took place. The humans in this story are often born disabled or prone to infections.
Kauan made himself a mechanical arm (although he takes it off after work, otherwise it will hurt and strain the muscles on his shoulder).
Camille was born deaf on one ear and could barely hear anything with the other, so she uses hearing aids. She still uses sign language to communicate, especially since she has many relatives who preferred not to use hearing devices.
Gideon experiences intense headaches since he was a little kid, especially during stressful situations (probably adds up to traumatic experiences hehe).
About the comet.
There's really no way to extract its essence while it's still on its orbit. You could say a portion of it fell on the surface of the planet before being found by Bortom city researches.
Gideon helped discover the powerful properties of the Holloway's Comet — what he didn't expect, however, is that it was conscious enough to directly confront him :D
And yes, that's how Hunter and B2 ACTUALLY first met!

HUNTER LORE COMPILATION —
(click Keep Reading)
"Hunter is a name he's given himself. He's an Exocannis, and he belongs to a series of outdated robots designed to annihilate rebellious androids (i.e., androids that acted out of their directives, rebelled against their owners, or ran away).
Exocannis' humanoid features may fool people into thinking they're inefficient terminators, but it actually works as a way to highlight the menacing nature of humanity.
Prehistoric humans would pursue their prey for hours, and even days. Exocannis robots are very persistent stalkers and ruthless machines that refuse to recognize defeat.
Such violent directive, paired up with a very unfortunate incident that provoked the death of five people, deemed the Exocannis robots too dangerous by the government, and so, they were banned and destroyed for good... Except for a single prototype.
Said prototype is now out there, rescuing and repairing rebellious androids, instead of annihilating them. Whatever is the reason why Hunter seeks peace between humankind and robotkind remains unknown, as he refuses to talk about his past."
"Exocannis robots like Hunter weren’t made to just kill rebellious androids. They were made to terrorize them. To make one tell the difference between deactivation and death.
And so, they go for the neck."
"Hunter's bunny-like mechanical antennas allow him to hear. He also uses them for communication and to locate proper coordinates, but he’s bothered by occasional interference on the audio, so he doesn’t use that feature as much.
(fun fact: they also show a bit of his current emotional state)"
"Hunter is an Exocannis, and like any robot belonging to that series, his purpose is to hunt down and terrorize rebellious androids persistently until eventual termination.
Exocannis are powered by solar energy. Although very resistant to high temperatures, their internal mechanisms might overheat. They cool off by letting out smoke from the “vent spots” on each side of the jaw.
Human beings are not a target, and Exocannis robots are programmed to tell the difference between one and a machine.
Unless a human is “acting as an obstacle” against their directive, an Exocannis will not hesitate to terminate them too.
Exocannis robots should not bleed, for they don’t have blood."
"Heat does not trigger the Exocannis mode, but solar energy does.
Heat helps Hunter’s body function properly, while cold slows down the processes (much like a human body would)."
"Hunter does remember his time as Gideon Rigell."
"Gideon experiences intense headaches since he was a little kid, especially during stressful situations (probably adds up to traumatic experiences hehe)."
"Telling the truth to Bee about what he's done in the past is practically making it impossible for her to accept him, since he isn’t just lying about his true identity.
Hunter won’t take advantage of her missing memories not only because that’s unfair with Bee, but also because he is aware he can’t make her happy like he wished he could.
Many things are at stake, and for the sake of Fusionsprunt’s safety, he promised to remain silent until the dust settles."
"Hunter is often accompanied by a small spherical timer robot named 53, which registers his meetings, assignments, tasks and special events he's been invited to. In spite of proper functionality, it typically displays the number "53" in its screen when left idle."

if gideon was killed by an exocannis (iirc) and hunter is related to gideon (from what i've understood) does that mean.... gideon possesses the same exocannis that killed him?
I answered an ask similar to this one on the official Fusionsprunt blog. In case the explanation and hints sounded ambiguous or confusing for some people: Exocannis robots have a internal structures that work similarly to human organs, and a skull cavity manufactured specifically to preserve a single human brain inside them.
Gideon purposely transferred his consciousness to a prototype after being poisoned and nearly killed. He's the dominating mind that controls the body, while Exocannis is the robot itself, activated when the first one is unconscious.

I'm so excited but sad to see WHY B2 would be so upset that Hunter was human at some point. I know he had a role to play in taking her from her home or like her being one with the comet but.. is there ANOTHER reason shed is so upset at him? or are we only allowed hints.
(I need them to marry and adopt guto and be happy and live on fusionsprunt and kiss and be happy old pepole robots one day )
Because Gideon literally sold B2 and her family, the remaining UNITY androids, to Bortom's government so they could be used in the war against Fusionsprunt, whose inhabitants (majority being scrapped and rebellious robots) fought for their right to exist and sought to be recognized as beings worth of empathy.
Basically, he influenced on Bortom's victory, and also betrayed Bee, who did witness the unfairness with which humans treated machines.
Yeah, cleaning the name of his parent's company was the main reason behind it, but he was also pretty tired of being the coward and miserable orphan everyone pitied. He wanted recognition, he got that, and suffered the consequences. Now, he's desperately trying to fix his mistakes under a new identity.
