Anyone else feel like Hazel and Dev’s relationship is giving similar vibes to Luz and Amity from The Owl House?

Started out as enemies, and then they became friends, and eventually becoming girlfriends. Hazel and Dev are giving off enemies to friends to POSSIBLE FUTURE lovers.

Now, idk how long this show’s gonna go, but since Hazel’s VA (who also happens to be one of the executive producers of the show) said that this show will have an overarching plot, unlike the OG series, it would be interesting to see them grow older; maybe up until they’re 13, since they’re 10 right now.

I can definitely see, at least, Dev start to develop (haha) a potential crush on Hazel as the series progresses.

Today’s redraw is Lumity from "For the Future"

I decided to make a new redraw instead of an original drawing because I wanted to bring back my confidence in drawing by making new redraws instead of original drawings which in my opinion aren't as good.

I had a fun time making this redraw. The only thing I hate about it is that I tried not to draw Amity too close to Luz and ended up drawing her too far from Luz in the nest. I tried to make it up for it by drawing some of the sticks in the nest.

Next up should be coloring this and my previous lumity redrawing I made back in June. Or I will procrastinate again and make a new redraw.

hiii guess who’s writing another owl house fanfic :) :)

don’t expect it to be out anytime soon because I don’t feel entirely comfortable posting something unless I’ve completely finished it so I don’t disappoint people by posting an incomplete story and getting them excited for the end only to never write it, but I am committed to finishing this and I am going to try my absolute hardest to write a little bit every day (also you can message me or comment to prod me about it if you want it might help my motivation to know that people want to read it)

I have planned out the whole thing and it will have about 22 chapters, give or take one or two if I decide to move things around

I'm obsessed with the new Owl House future AU I made so LET ME YAP ABT IT.

Luz and Amity are 38 with identical twin girls 😱

There's Adelaide Edalyn Noceda-blight and Astrid Camila Noceda-Blight. They're both 14 and even though they have the exact same DNA, they're very different lol. (And they were both carried by Amity cuz magic 👍)

Adelaide takes all the tracks at hexside cuz she's a queen, but she's actually VERY talented at oracle magic and basically gets it from Odalia. Astrid only takes Bard and Abominations. She's cool like that and is chill with the violin that was passed down to her from Raine.

Lumity also has a 12 year old son. Manuel Alexander Noceda-Blight 💪💪 (he was carried by Luz also becuz magic) now he takes beastkeeping, potions, and healing.

HUNTLOW is a whole nother thing. They weren't able to have children naturally cuz... hunter don't have nothing down there, really. So they adopted a little baby in need YAYYYYYY

Basil Wren Park, they're also 12 and Manuel's best friend. Their gender is yes, like mangle from fnaf. They take plants, potions, and construction.

Gustholomule is canon in my mind, and they have a 10 year old girl named Iris Catherine Porter. She felt pressured to do illusions because of how great and amazing her dad is, but later realized her true love and talent were for abominations, and her parents were very supportive.

Watching The Owl House in Dutch (part 6)

Season 3:

Thanks to Them:

When they practice Spanish in Thanks to Them, they practice that R-sound that is often difficult for English-speakers. But in the Dutch dialogue in that same scene, they use that very same R-sound multiple times, as well as all over the place as a part of their language. Makes me wonder what they do in the Spanish dub.

I'm amazed how they made the rebus kinda work in dutch!

For the Future:

The screeches of the owl beast are dubbed. Also some grunts coming from monster Belos, making it sound a bit weird when you know the original version.

Did they forget the heavy panting from the Titan in the beginning? There is no sound when he tries to contact Luz.

Watching and Dreaming:

In front of The Owl (Bird) House: Collector (incorrectly) - "Het Uilenhuis" Eda (correcting them) - "Huis van de Uil!"

It is better to have any kind of owl beast screech than none at all, like they did right after Luz died.

I think the Collector's VA did a good job. Different voice, but it got better the more I heard it.
