Today one year ago one of my favorite shows aired their finale! This show got me to draw fanart again and made me fall in love with so many characters! Happy anniversary to The Owl House!!!

It's crazy to me that The Owl House ended a year ago!

I usually don't like fantasy stories that much but this one means a lot to me. I got to learn a lot about myself thanks to it! I especially love the characters so so much

Also, eclipse taken into consideration, today the Boiling Isles are celebrating, sort of, The Day of Unity lmao

Happy Anniversary to the finale 💜

This show means literally so much to me, I miss it so much. I can't believe it's been a WHOLE year since it ended. I have no idea where I would be if it wasn't for The Owl House. The biggest thanks to Dana and the Owl crew for everything.

This is a quick little doodle but I really wanted to create something for Watching and Dreamings first anniversary, aka the first year since we said goodbye to the show!

I was and still am a big fan, and I used to share a looot of toh related drawings here back in the day, mostly Huntlow related content, so I really wanted to make something new for the occasion!

Anyways, quick post, I just wanted to pop in and say thanks to a franchise that has helped me so much over the years!

4 years of this amazing show! I’ve known this show since around august 2020 and I’ve loved it ever since and really helped me thru times and gosh I feel old

Okay, I get that Watching and Dreaming aired a year ago but Hollow Mind being two years old? That's crazy!

And I love that the background artists managed to sneak in a little bit of Belos' past with the paintings in his mind. They're amazing details that you have to rewatch the episode twice to see them again.

I'm starting to feel like we didn't get to fully appreciate The Owl House when it was airing. But I still enjoy the journey with this show, however short it was.

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since the finale! I will never not cry at this beautiful full circle moment (I’m not crying, you are!). If it isn’t obvious by the existence of this blog 😂, I really love this show.

It’s hard to believe now, but it was my spouse’s idea to watch it! He saw some clips of Amity panic online and thought it looked super cute and we binged Season 1 on Disney+. Nerdy bi Latina protagonist and there’s witches?? I was pretty easily sold 😅. But then on top of that it was just so good??? We don’t have cable, so for Season 2, we were always waiting to catch the episode bundles that would drop on Disney+ and I was avoiding the fandom like the plague so I didn’t get spoilers— when the 3rd season episodes were dropped on YouTube on the days they aired, I was thrilled!! Naturally, I sobbed through this entire episode 😂.

A few months ago, I was trying to clear out my camera roll and I found this screenshot that I saved to text my spouse on July 15th, 2021. I could not possibly delete it because this was me anticipating the first set of Season 2 episodes to drop on Disney+. It’s wild to think back on how excited I was even then.

This show has brought me so much joy AND pushed me into finally pursuing this hobby of making fanart (I’m talking taking art classes so I could get better at drawing Raeda 😅), so I can say it will have a lasting effect on me. I couldn’t possibly summarize everything it means to me, but I know it means a whole lot to so many of you, too, so I don’t have to. I know you’ve heard it a million times, but thank you @danaterrace!!
