I made this cause I’m about to draw Smaug. Pretty sure he’s gonna be in the same semi-realistic style that this dragon’s in. I’m gonna try to combine graphite and colored pencil for simplicity’s sake.

Oftentimes, I make art even when I’m not 100% motivated. I just clamber thru whatever rendering and lines that have been concocted at the time. Yet, when I really got that mojo flow, I create things which remind me of why I continue to draw even thru the tough times

At the beginning of the year, I told myself that I would draw more digital art, but like most New Year resolutions, I think I’m gonna quit this one. I love graphite too damn much😋

For this piece, I tried out a triad color scheme: yellow-orange, blue-green, and purple-red

I had quite a bit of fun drawing this piece. Have to admit though that in the middle of its creation, I got scared and had to take a break. But overall I’m happy with it!😊

This was a challenging piece to create, but I’m glad that I put the time and effort into it. Drawing digitally is still a bit strange, but I hope that with time it’ll become easier to do. 😁
