Hello, new follower here! I just spent the evening reading FMU and 😭 it's so so good!! I am hooked and I can't wait for more (I'm greedy but patient, I respect the process). I started scrolling down your page looking for something else to read..is spiderkoo a series? Just to make sure I'm reading things in the right order. thanks! 💞

First of all, welcome!!! Ahhh, I’m so excited you found FMU and that you’re enjoying it! The fact that you spent your evening with it? Chef’s kiss. I’m over here blushing and flailing because that means so much to me. 🥹

As for Spiderkoo—right now, it’s a standalone oneshot! No need to worry about reading order, so you can dive right in whenever you’re ready. That said, my brain is always buzzing with ideas (send help), so there’s always a chance I might revisit him in the future. I mean, awkward, soft, web-slinging Jungkook? Who wouldn’t want more of that?

For FMU, there are currently six chapters up, and I’m working on a few extras that’ll add some fun depth to the story. Right now, I only have the Yeji-meets-Irya snippet posted—two of my OCs who will be important in Y/N’s life. I absolutely love writing blossoming friendships between women (they deserve so much more love and nuance in fiction!!!) and I can’t wait to explore their bond further!

I’m also working on what could be considered prequel snippets, like that January one-night stand from both Y/N’s and Jungkook’s POVs. I’m such a sucker for his perspective in fics too 😭, so you already know I’m going all in. Oh! And chapter 7 has just been edited and proofread, so I’ll be uploading it super soon—Friday at the latest. 🫡

Funny thing about FMU—I originally wanted to keep it short, somewhere around 100-150k words. But considering we’re at 26k words by chapter 6, with chapter 7 alone coming in at just shy of 9k, I think it’s safe to say we’re going WAY past 200k words. 😭 So yeah, we’re going to be living in this world together for quite a while!

Also, just a little fun fact: I’m basically a new author in the BTS fandom! I’ve been writing for a long time but never published anything until last week, so this is all very new and exciting (and terrifying). I don’t have much posted for now, but if you’re curious, I do have an ongoing Spirk fanfic and an ABO Spirk oneshot on my AO3 (fxoye)—though that’s a whole different fandom, hahaha.

I feel like Star Trek itself is built upon the UST of The OG Captain and his first officer.

(I know technically the OG would be Pike and Spock, but that was like for one episode. So when I say OG, I mean Jimmy boy and Spock. 😅)

Also, I live for the edging. It's so good! It's like Spock told T'pring's bloke; sometimes, the wanting is better than having.

Though to be fair, where Jim and Spock are concerned, you won't ever hear me complain about them resolving that sexual tension, let me tell you. But there really is something so special about the build up.

The question is soft, almost hesitant. When Spock turns his head, he finds Jim studying the ground, a smile playing at his lips that creates a curious dissonance in Spock's chest. The expression contains none of the captain's usual vibrant energy—it is, instead, tinged with something that makes Spock's side ache in a most illogical manner.

"To what are you referring exactly?" Spock asks, though he has calculated a 97.8% probability that he knows exactly what Jim means. The pretense is... illogical. And yet he finds himself unwilling to broach the subject directly.

"The mental link, Spock."❞

And that's when Spock moves. It's a blur, almost too fast for Kirk to follow, but suddenly the man is howling in pain, his arm wrenched up behind his back at an angle that looks inches away from dislocation. His face, stoic as ever, gives nothing away. But it’s the subtle details, those almost impossible-to-detect tells Kirk’s memorized by now. And he knows—knows Spock is seconds away from snapping.

"You will speak to the Captain with respect," Spock says, his voice low, dangerous. "Or you will not speak at all."❞

And I’ve double-checked the settings like a thousand times—nothing’s marked as explicit on this one like my original blog is. But apparently, Tumblr is just out here making sure no one can find me anyway, because… I don’t know, maybe I’ve offended the algorithm gods somehow. sigh I even linked this backup blog in my pinned post on fxoye so people could actually find me, and here we are. Omg, REALLY?! I’m so glad you liked it!! 🥹 It was literally the silliest doodle I whipped up in 30 minutes because I saw that meme on Twitter and my brain was like, “Spock would absolutely be the guy who’s there for the ‘cooking’ but actually only has eyes for Kirk’s boobalungas.” Like, c’mon, the meme and Kirk’s chest were a match made in space heaven—I had no choice.

Honestly, have you seen Kirk’s boobalungas? They’re basically Federation-approved weapons at this point. And you just know Spock’s caught staring when he thinks no one’s watching. 👀

Ughhh, thank you for the kind words!! It’s like a rollercoaster of emotions right now: one second, you’re vibing, posting art of Kirk and Spock maybe getting a little too close, and the next, BAM—tumblr decides to go all “we’ve decided you’re a criminal now, congratulations.” (ﾉಥ益ಥ）ﾉ The explicit cutout was apparently not enough to pass the Tumblr Test™️.

I’ve appealed, so hopefully, the great algorithm overlords of Tumblr will get their act together soon and release my blog from the Shadow Realm. Until then, I’m channeling all my rage into more fanfic, so expect even more angst and unresolved sexual tension coming your way. Cross your fingers (and maybe send a Vulcan prayer) that everything goes back to normal soon!
