"I wanted to record a message for you, to help you get settled in on your first night. I actually worked in that office before you-- I’m finishing up my last week now as a matter of fact."

Steven speaks along with his own recording, a voiceless whisper adding just another layer of static to the worn-out tape. He's only half-aware that he's doing so; he's felt untethered ever since they removed his body. His tapes ground him, give him some semblance of routine:

Day 1: A breeze.

Day 2: Everything's under control.

Day 3: Best not to get caught.

Day 4: He dies.

Over and over and over again.

He never quite gets used to hearing his own scream, but that won't come for a while, yet, and only if this new guard actually sticks around long enough to hear the last recording. For now it's only Monday, and Steven props himself up on the desk, resisting the urge to click the lights on and off like he used to on the slow days that come early in the week. He's here to help the night shift, not scare them-- or worse, run down their power before they know what the hell they're doing with it.

"Bonnie's up," he says after a while, forcing a camera switch to the main stage to show the guard that one of the animatronics is no longer in its starting position. So much for not scaring the guy-- the abruptness of the visual feed bursting to life is sure to be a little unsettling in the eerie silence of the office-- but Steven's seen too many new guards go hours on their first night utterly oblivious to the movements of the other ghosts to sit back and trust this guy to check the cameras on his own.

"You're welcome," Bell mutters to himself, letting his head fall back to hit the wall behind him with a nonexistent thunk. The boredom is the worst part of dying, he's found, but it's okay. He just has to get through tonight, and then tomorrow night, and then the night after that.

Ad infinitum.

Happy (late) G.host T.rick on Switch day. I can't get it quite yet, but I did finish drawing this last night (I've had the sketch for. A few months). I REMEMBERED something cool happening with my F/Os this time (barely, but that's beside the point).

Dude, I just find it funny that any canon muse you have you looked at their canon lore in the eye and basically said "You're a coward and stupid as all hell. MY rules now" and honestly? I respect that so damn much. cheers 🥂

I just don't get story decisions made sometimes??? I'm sitting on a whole m.w3 reboot rant like my god, I know why that game turned out so bad don't get me wrong what they did to the devs was awful, but you can't ship a product like that for 70$ and not expect me to treat it like a 70$ game. C.od really doesn't have the edge it used to have which is fine in some cases, but like— really? That's the "No R.ussian" mission??? The previous one was shooting up an airport and this one is kind of really dumb. Why are they speaking English to frame a middle eastern country??? That's so stupid, plus the whole framing of it where the entire plane saw someone pull a gun on her so why are they acting like shes the one who made the plan??? It's dumb. In 2019 we got a fucking waterboarding mini-game and actual gritty reality situations even in 2022 you got tense scenes like V.aleria interrogating S.oap. M.w3 reboot is a joke.

B.hvr is kind of hit or miss for me, sometimes they really lean into the camp of their entire universe, but sometimes they try to be really serious which can come off really bad like J.onah "I committed war crimes" V.aquez. Tar's lore I honestly like, I just wish they could decide what they want for it, because they keep pretending like he's this ultra hyper violent man when he just kind of is normal for his job and the the time. He's never getting another tome, people hate him because they want to be him or something so I have to write his lore. Pay me B.hvr :gun:

Safeshiptember Day 3: Relaxing

So here's a new face! This is Wynne (said like "win") , my new S/I for G.host T.rick! Still trying to figure her out, but— like everyone else in the game— she's not having a good night.

She has a pretty tough and cold exterior, but she does have a soft spot for animals :)
