Looked up Bloodweave icons on Pinterest so I could get a new one for my Bloodweave playlist. First result:

I actually looked up Dancing on Ice videos a couple weeks ago, and ended up finding a different channel called On Ice Perspectives that has AWESOME skating videos of various pro-level skaters/skate teams. Glorious cinematography. I found one video where the male partner gave me SUCH Astarion vibes, with his costume and general vibe, but I can’t remember who it was! If I find it again I shall come back and reblog.

(When I was watching the DOI videos, part of the reason I branched out to other skating videos was because some part of my brain was pulling a grompy pengu and grumbling about how Gale and Astarion would have done it better. Possibly because the only skating I’ve ever seen up to this point is the occasional Olympic/professional skate and theatre-of-the-mind Bloodweave skates, as opposed to the actual celebrities who have only been skating for six months. Regardless, grompy pengu.)

Oh what it’s me come bearing another gift

I know Volo’s costumes for them during Whitney Houston week (guilty pleasures week? 80s week? Who Knows Week) were ridiculous as per usual, but my YouTube home page walked up to my door, knocked, and then slapped me across the face with this skating vid of a Gale lookalike ice dancing to the Beegees. He’s purple and everything.

I don't want to know how many hours of my life I've spent watching them at this point but you know what? I will ALWAYS be down to watch more. ESPECIALLY when they're having this much fun!!

And yeah lol the theme of that week was Guilty Pleasures haha

I forgot that half the people reading this fic haven't actually watched Dancing on Ice. I admire your dedication!!
