I struggled with a bad gatcha addiction for the last couple of years and I only recently became clean earlier this year. The worst of it was the night I blew a grand on single banner, before getting my target.

FGO wasn't my game of choice, but I feel like if my game of choice did a collab with McDonald's it would have made me hard quit and go clean sooner, even if I was unaware of their funding of genocide.

Idk, there's just something about a collab like that that feels insidious and gross.

Hey Anon. I'm glad you came out clean from your addiction. I understand the hardship of getting out of it and many of my friends had to struggle. So I just wanna let you know how happy I am for you. You're a brave soul and I'm hoping you're in a much better state!

FGO have done so many other offenses in the past which resulted in many people quitting the game, but I feel like at this point, there's no excuse to let it slide. People here are aware of the genocide that's going on in Palestine and the fact that Mcdonalds are actively feeding the very people that are carrying out the genocide of the Palestinians should leave a bad taste for every fgo player who spend money on it. I don't care how judgmental it might sound, it's inexcusable.

oh yeah speaking of persona and merchandising, my friend took us to gyu-kaku for the p5t collab event (we ordered the mocktails minus the red bull) (there is nothing in the world that can make me drink red bull) (I think it would kill me) and the charms are standees so I was like ok, that’s probably like three inches

IT’S MICROSCOPIC??? AND IT’S NOT EVEN DOUBLE-BOARDED??? LMAO??? plus it’s just the promo image with all the text that you can barely read because it’s so small. the art for the packaging is nice tho. if there was ryuji and yusuke I probably would’ve been lost in the gatcha (and meat) sauce but luckily THEY DON’T HAVE YUSUKE (MY GUY??????)

I only downloaded fate go for the singleminded purpose of getting the new years saber from the samurai remnant collab, which is gonna take Like a year or two to come to the en server so i have time to grind an insane amount of free crystals, but I logged in to see there's a morgan gatcha banner and my first thought was "i NEED to get this card so I can go back to the main story and tell mordred < Yeah, well I fucked your mom>"

and then I got it in like 3 11 pulls and in my head was like < "HEY MORDRED! IM GPNNA FUCK YOUR MOM!"

Marui City in Yokohama is holding a Love Live Premium Shop leading up to and during the Koushien Live. During the live it's expected to be so busy you'd need to get a ticket in the morning to get in, but it was a breeze to get in today.

Even though it's supposed to be a Sanrio Collab shop (they were giving out GnY Sanrio cards with a certain amount of money spent), they had all sorts of things. Leftover merch from other shops I assume. For example, they had TWO CYaRon and Miku shirts, a pile of Guilty Kiss, and no AZALEA. And after I left, only one CYaRon.

But what they did have lots and lots and lots of what were the cutest keychains I've ever seen...... all blind. And I managed to walk out without buying a single one. (I don't play that game anymore.)

But as I was leaving, I turned around and did just one gatcha pull.

And there she was. As if to say, you ganbaruby'd.

My silly gatcha game I play is doing a collab with some kpop girl group. It's weird seeing actual pictures and then the absolute booba characters the game came up with.

I never thought I was a merch person before KnY, but many of my previous obsessions just didn't have easy merch to accumulate. While I have amassed a collection that gets stored and displayed and actively used, I keep a lot of small items in these two boxes. Decided to spread out the contents today. Not all of it is official merch but I only own a pair of flame glasses for KnY related reasons. Most if it is trading cards and stickers that came with other products (my true weakness), coasters and cards from collab events, a few gatcha items (which thankfully are not a big weakness), and other various items from wagashi-cutting swords to regional keychains.
