Marla Agrees! She came in with her granddaughter with a #Samsung S7 phone that was factory reset but they didn't know what the previous Google account associated with the phone was so due to Google's Factory reset protection security #FRP they couldn't get back into the phone but they came to the right #GeeK and I got them back into the phone. the granddaughter was thrilled to have her phone back and the grandmother (Marla) was thrilled she didn't have to buy a new phone. This machine came in today suffered some damage while the #customer was doing a #hardware #upgrade so brought it in at 8:30 am on a Saturday morning... This #Laptop is having what I call the #LightsAreOnButNoOnesHome Problem... Basically it turns on Powers up you can see the lights on the power adapter and the numlock come on but nothing on the screen and it doesn't boot. So common #troubleshooting here is to test the #RAM and the other components and inspect the #motherboard for any potential damage. Some of the time it's bad RAM other times it's overheated and a fresh coat of #thermalpaste on the #CPU will fix it other times #NotSoMuch so we just do a little testing to see if any of the #commonproblems resolves the issue if not then we go into advanced troubleshooting.
