Zeldris is watching his wife and sons😊💖
I wanted to draw Gelda with Percival and Bedivere as demons like in Inuyasha🥰💖 I loved to draw demons when I was in my early teens And then I added Zeldi <3 watching them, maybe Gelda is telling them a fairy tale. Well and then I thought I wanted to draw them living in a big japanese mansion together

Vampire Realm
I was dreaming up a map for the Demon Realm when @darkelf-7 put it into my mind that the vampires should have their own special dimension too. Absolutely they should! So without further ado, here's Gelda's kingdom (with worldbuilding lore)!!
First, I figured I would expand on the human-vampire relationship with a drabble. It's unusual for a vampire scenario to have them living far away from humans due to their unique coexistence. Either by necessity or personal taste, people are a vampire's source of life.
the beginnings of the stars & diamonds, the vampire realm’s human (ish) societies
The ancestors were refugees who don’t know how they got here.
They just woke one morning after traveling a long way to find themselves in a land of glowing color and eternal night. The first thing they noticed was the pleasant warmth of the air that was so foreign to them. Both the heat and the smell of that air was astonishing, that was what they wrote. The child sitting next to their gear and still-sleeping companions was astonishing, too, surveying them with brilliant green eyes as if he’d succeeded in some great task.
“Have you been looking for a place to call home?” It was more of a statement than a question. They understood it well enough, though they didn't recognize the accent. “I sought those like you out, brought you to a place you will enjoy until you die.”
They did enjoy it. It was peculiar- this land with no sun seemed to work in reverse to what they knew, the light and warmth emanating from the foliage and the lakes as clear and comfortable as bathwater. Crops seemed to grow just as quickly as before, and the variety of unfamiliar creatures was not afraid in the slightest of a bunch of human travelers, sometimes even speaking to them, albeit in hushed tones and in a language that would take them years to master. It was an island, they realized, yet over on the north shore they could see a vast land laid out before them just over the sea. The sailors among them came back with frantic reports about how the sea circled right back around to either island, regardless of how far they went, but the villagers were too busy fashioning the glimmering rock bed beneath the surface into homes, the children too happy with their new animal companions and the new mysteries of the sky and the world, for anyone to take issue. Better than the war-torn place they’d just escaped. Maybe one day they’d go home. It took two generations to realize that they were stuck here, in what could only be a new dimension, and as far as they knew there was no way back, unless they should ask that strange child again. He came now and again through the years to check on them, and was at first shy in a regal sort of way, but not unfriendly. He claimed he needed time away from home. So they built him a little hut fit for someone his size and furnished it alongside theirs. This - unexpectedly - flustered him so much that he ran off into the woods. Poor thing.
The next time the boy came, he brought with him a blonde girl, captivating in beauty and speech. She apologized profusely for the disappearances of some villagers throughout the years. It was assumed those who went missing simply went into the portal near the lake and never returned - apparently, some  of these had been slain and drained of blood. She invited all the village leaders to that city their travelers spoke of, the dangerous one whose polished stone glowed purer and brighter than the moon. Such a fascinating person this was, and even from afar they could tell why so many of them crossed to the other island not only for the extra space but to be closer to those creatures who were their neighbors and built in their likeness. Unlike back home, there was no need to fear the unknown. So long as they paid the price in blood, all would be well - and the golden princess promised she would keep it that way so long as she could in her immortal life. They told her, in turn, that she was always welcome in their villages, and, say, what do you call yourselves exactly?
Vampires.
Vampire Realm Map
Aaaand here's the main feature!

Vampire Realm Features
Moon Society -
The vampires’ cities are shaped like moons, the ancient buildings surrounded by fields of wildflowers, shrubbery, and equally ancient woodland. The most popular style of architecture and interior design puts strong emphasis on handmade objects and shows a general inclination toward a  fairytale aesthetic. Both minimalistic and eclectic elements are hugely popular. Skylights, balconies, and walls open to the air, accompanied by extravagant curtains taking the place of glass or doors, are the most unifying architectural element. Of all the arts, dance and music have been the most prone to change throughout the centuries. Most garments are handwoven with great craftsmanship and passed down through generations for as long as they stay in good condition. Elegance is far more popular than cuteness, sexiness, or even intimidation when it comes to one’s appearance.
As far as vampires are concerned, their society encompasses as far as the glowstone reaches, and the concept of being ‘civilized’ and ‘uncivilized’ has no meaning to them. Considering that their overall population pales in comparison to any other race, even the beastmen, it has never made sense to vampires to do anything other than settle infighting in the most peaceful way possible. True, the glowstone is not pleased to lose a living soul before its time, but the vampires’ sense of loyalty means they would prefer peaceful estrangement to hostility even if that were no longer an issue. There are rumors among Britannian humans that there are various subspecies of vampire - just as there are various subspecies of demon - due to the variety of appearances and special abilities they may possess.
Star Society -
The human inhabitants of the realm have adapted to the environment over the centuries, but none so much as those who come from the Star cities. They embrace what they call the natural lifestyle of the “Midnight Isles” and maintain a strong bond with nature, and, when applicable, magic. Community, especially with other sentient residents of the “Midnight Isles,” is extremely important to them, and residents are known for their openness, boldness, and generosity. The wonder and appreciation they show for all the whimsies of life in the vampire realm enchants many vampires who encounter them, and though they are the main food source of said vampires, finding someone who resents this is rare. It’s rumored they’ve adapted to regular loss of blood on a biological level, but you can’t get a straight answer about that. It’s like they’ve never bothered to study it.
Human visitors to the Star Capital are stunned by the locals’ behavior; particularly, their lack of fear of the landscape on which they live. The visitors wouldn’t judge so harshly, or try to convince them to leave with such inconsideration, but . . . it’s like they can’t see it. They can tell some of the creatures who live among them are demon, or vampire, but for some reason don’t notice this. Their neighbors and friends, particularly the avid travelers and the nature enthusiasts, aren’t quite . . . human anymore. The vampires, the animals, even the soil no longer considers them human. The vampires say that it’s true, that the life energy the glowstone circulates back into them is more plant, more animal, more vampire, more demon than human - that it’s the land’s blessing, and it makes their blood all the more delicious. “Tieflings,” the vampires call them, but not to their faces. The humans don’t seem to acknowledge the inhuman traits as strange. It’s like they don’t even know . . . what being human means anymore. Who can blame them, though? The Vampire Realm is a place where the plants themselves have personality, and the soil judges character on a life-or-death scale, so treating everything you see like it could be another person - another human being, as the humans say - is, in a way, as natural to them as the total lack of sunlight.
The Star people of this island are descended from explorers, witches, and scientists of various cultural backgrounds, and it is more apparent than in the Diamond people that some of these cultures are from lands beyond Britannia. These original cultures and traditions have a great impact on modern life and most relics from the ancestors’ homelands have been preserved.
The network of star cities are not connected by roads but by what locals call ‘the trails.’ Obtaining knowledge of these is a symbol of trust from the locals, as most of the Star people’s sacred places lie along their beloved, uncharted paths. The architecture has no Britannian origins and varies widely from district to district, especially within the capital. Certain everyday rituals are inspired by vampire culture.
Diamond Society -
Grit, and grace. That’s what the Diamonds hope to pass down to their children.
Separated from the rest of the realm by a bit of freshwater sea, the diamond cities have a whimsy all to themselves. Old growth forests containing ancient vampire relics remain practically untouched as the architects and designers preferred stone and textiles as craft materials over wood, a trend that continues to this day. These trees are the most vibrant in personality in the Isles. Some eagerly foster a relationship with the Diamond people, some keeping one or a few favorites while others gather flocks of humans as their friends. Others discriminate wildly against certain humans or humans in general. Friendly wild plants provide 70% of the Diamond people’s fruit and vegetables by gifting them directly to humans. And likewise, the rare craftspeople who work with wood do so through the gifts of the trees. Star people who visit the island are often taken by surprise by the vegetation’s behavior since their own native plants are so much more carefree. Foreign plants do not do well on this island, even those from the other Isle, so exports of rare plants in carefully wrapped terrariums are common. Generally, the creatures of the Diamond isle are larger and more hostile to those they don’t recognize or personally favor.  As for the weather, tropical storms are more frequent. Well-lit underground passageways connect the four main Diamond cities for use during rainstorms.
The four main settlements do not consider themselves separate cities but extensions of the capital, and friends often travel all over the island together. They refer to the populated areas as “Cerberus,” no doubt as a reference to the wild “dogs” they built a relationship with over the centuries as well as to the fact they consider their Capital as one building rather than a city. And with that logic, there are only 3 ‘cities’ arranged around Jelly Lake.
Like the Star people, many Diamond people treat travel as a way of connecting with their home and each other. Despite the added danger of the isle’s unpredictable weather and creatures, however, they seem to treat their trips with less caution and with less supplies. Their familiarity with the island helps, but in the end, they are still in a land where the “little sea fishies,” as they call them, are bigger than their hunting “dogs”. So, visitors are quite concerned for the residents. Speaking of the sea, the people living in the Capital make business either with the sea itself (Sailors, water sports, fisheries, craftspeople, etc.) or with the merchants coming across the sea from the other island.
“Glowstone” aka vampire realm earthstuff- The white or pale grey color of the soil / rock seems to retain light. It supports a variety of ultra rare plants that even the demon realm cannot sustain. Instead of acquiring its nutrients from dying plants, glowstone sustains its health through a more mysterious relationship with the native flora and fauna wherein the life force itself is consumed. The minerals present in the vampire realm soil are considered extremely dangerous in other realms, and, for lack of a better word, exhibit a level of sentience. The soil circulates the excess life essence it consumes among its inhabitants, blessing them with accelerated healing and the sort of immortality present in the vampire race. In return, the flora acts on the whims of the soil, acting as mouthpiece and gardener. Studies find that glowstone does not contain pain receptors. Its chief complaint, when it has one, typically has to do with the magical balance of the realm and the lives of its creatures. Glowstone is extremely sensitive to new arrivals and spilled blood, and is said to “know and witness everything” that goes on in the realm. As for creature-esque characteristics, it lives vicariously through the plants, allowing the individual species to exhibit personality. On the rare occasion a vampire loses their life, that life is absorbed by the glowstone and their magical strength recirculated into another vampire as a blessing from the minerals.  Ambitious or dedicated demon mages and doctors acquire glowstone in order to form pseudo-symbiotic relationships with dying rare plants and medical patients. It is effective, but dangerous, and of course highly difficult, to separate the patient from this new symbiotic bond. Vampires are the only creatures in the realm known to retain their full health outside of the realm and out of contact with the glowstone for extended periods of time.
Water - The water of the vampire realm has an intense purifying quality that would keep a properly hydrated human visitor all but immune to the level of miasma.
Crescent Castle - The majority of government and public functions are organized here. The castle overlooks a cliff and is surrounded by both public gardens and a nature reserve.
Iris Springs - These warm water ponds in the depths of the forest are home to rare beetles, birds, and flowers. A certain pond is even called "the floating flower garden" due to the sheer amount of flowers cascading toward the water's surface from the tree canopy. These flowers enjoy extreme temperatures and bloom in the summer and winter. They are the only species of plant that can grow in Britannia, albeit they only bloom in the coldest and hottest days of the year, rather than the whole season.
Gargoyles - The gargoyles of the realm have quite a history behind them. The first ones were carved by the Diamonds as an act of bonding with the land and with its inhabitants. They represent peace and connection between souls. Made of glowstone, they serve as the peacekeepers of the land. When they are not tending to the flora and fauna, they can be found playing with each other and with the families they’ve bonded to. At the beginning of Izraf’s reign, he rounded up all the gargoyles from his citizens under threat of death in order to demonstrate his power and the dominion he claimed over the realm. Their limbs were cut off to prevent escape. This caused recurring periods of mass chaos, as the gargoyles had not only developed their own magic, but had been instrumental in keeping archives of important information since their creation. The gargoyles’ flight back to the moon cities marked the end of the Britannian daylight hours, and the type of creatures they brought back for nurturing marked the change of seasons. This allowed the vampire to accurately determine the exact time in both Britannia and the demon realm, and travel as they please while maintaining perfect punctuality to scheduled events. Being forced to give up their traditional calendar enraged most working-class inhabitants of the realm, who from then on made a point of dodging and delaying any specific times for duties Izraf gave them. The nobles just claimed that it was whatever time the latest person to a meeting said it was, unless they wanted to rub Izraf’s technical failure in his face, in which case no one could agree on what time it actually was. Having condemned bringing human inventions back to the vampire realm, the King had no choice but to suck it up.
The current gargoyle tribe was restored by the Diamonds as a celebratory gift for the Great Vampire Queen’s wedding.
Unlike the glowstone in the realm’s earth, gargoyles can feel pain, and immediately took vengeance - much to the shock of everyone, who had perceived them as dead and not dormant as they were. It was thought that the consciousness of their beloved family members had been lost forever due to the damage.
Moon Pool - This lake below the Crescent Castle is warm to the touch. It is home to extremely rare aquatic beings which regularly commune with visitors to the lake. The water is thought to have magical properties due to its unique attribute of the water droplets and blobs floating above the lake’s surface, The displaced water rises a certain height into the air depending on the phase of the moon.
Portal to the Vampire Realm - Located near the Crescent Castle and the Moonpool, this is the only way to enter the demon realm by any normal means. Ancient warnings are etched into the entrance to the relic and the torches down the spiral staircase remain generally unlighted. The descent can kill most humans, as the level of miasma gradually increases the closer they get to the actual portal.
Portals to the Human Realm - These relics are relatively untouched by the general human public. A dangerous realm lies beyond them, and few can remember its nature except for the lucky adventurers and groups of merchants who bring back wild tales. Certain vampires are frequent visitors to these, and religiously keep the secret of their location from their more . . . bloodthirsty, friends.
Jelly Lake -  A rich ecosystem more than 700 meters deep, Jelly Lake boasts a great amount of fish, both those native to the lake and those who come in from the freshwater sea, but is most famous for its jellyfish. Unlike Jelly River, the glow of this lake comes from its plankton. Many gargoyles spend the winter holidays here in order to get the best jellies for feasting. Do the jellies bite? Occasionally. But that won’t stop the Diamond people from swimming and drinking from their favorite lake. It should, argues visitors, but they’re not the ones who tamed the “eccentric shadow dinosaurs” that roam around the isle, are they?
Jelly River - the shortest river in the Vampire Realm. It has by far the calmest waters - thus, the great amount of bioluminescent jellyfish who call its depths home - and serves as the isle’s main harbor. It boasts a few coastal cottages and a glowstone dock whose glow reflects the colors of the deep sea- jellyfish who float serenely within. The jellies love boats and will swarm a safe distance beneath them.

Why did I think I would suddenly need tiny islands, I don't know, but here they are as add-ons:
Tumblr media
Kudos to people who make fantasy maps a lot! I know there's a TON of elements that go into mapmaking, especially if it's supposed to be realism - even rivers are supposed to flow a certain way and interact with elevation and the such ... anyway, I am in awe of you and cheering you on. Such a cool art form. Last time I did this, it was a "small village" or "mansion" layout, and doing the bird's eye view when I haven't learned texture was more complicated than anticipated. And this is the smaller map of my two wips. . . help. XD
Hope you enjoyed this!

Hi, this was inspired by the Goddess Elizabeth and TC Meliodas yandere headcanons and I was wondering if I could please request slightly dark headcanons for a Zeldris/Gelda pairing who are yandere for an S/O who is either human or a goddess?
Let's hope I have the motivation to finish writing this
I decided to make the reader a goddess since that would add some more drama. Also I tried to make it darker than my usual writing but don't really know if i succeeded... Also, characters might be Ooc
Yandere Zeldris and Gelda sharing a Goddess S/O
Tumblr media
This is one of the best yandere pairings I can imagine. They harmonize so well and with their shared goal of protecting and owning you, this would be an almost wholesome relationship.
Almost, because the political climate makes it pretty much impossible for it to be a simple and happy romance.
I picture this with Zeldris and Gelda already being together, as otherwise Gelda has zero chance of actually meeting you long enough to grow as fond of you as she does. The two of them already have enough trouble, hiding their relationship and subsequently pretending to be nothing but strangers, even when they are as close as can be.
So Gelda quickly notices when Zeldris has something on his mind, stares off into the distance and doesn't react as quickly as usual. She will narrow her eyes and lean close enough that their noses brush against each other, causing the demon to snap out of his thoughts and grow extremely flustered. He won't be able to hide anymore and will have to confess to having met you on the battlefield and that there is something about you that doesn't quite let him forget about you like he usually does with his enemies.
At first, Gelda doesn't know how to react. Scratch that, she knows exactly that she is pissed off. Though, seeing her lover being more confused on why he can't get you off his mind will slightly placate her, especially since Zeldris will feel guilty and apologize unprompted for even thinking off you. While she will scold him, it will mainly be for not telling her first thing. The vampire is rather wary of you though, perhaps you have a strange power to you or her lover sensed that there is something off about you that could turn out to be dangerous.
That opinion of hers changes quite quickly though. It is rare that the demon king sends a vampire to the front lines, yet Gelda finds herself in the middle of the battlefield, some lower demons alongside her as they scout the perimeter. Perhaps he has grown suspicious of her and Zeldris and this is a warning, she muses, but she can't think much of that now as she has to focus on being on enemy territory.
It is thanks to her quick senses that she manages to dodge the sudden attack directed at the small group. She barely makes it out of range only to find herself getting dragged behind some trees. Before she can retaliate someone gently shushes her and she catches gaze of her savior. You. You gesture for her to listen and she hears some other goddesses talking about having killed the entire group and it doesn't take a genius to realize you are protecting her. Gelda remains tense until they leave. You explain that she was the only one to survive the initial attack and that you, admittedly, thought this war stupid and didn't want more blood on your hands. Even if you had just been relaxing nearby, you couldn't watch someone being slaughtered like that. What really catches the blonde off guard is that you seem remorseful for the death of the demons accompanying her and somehow... your naive and yet so sweet reactions make her want to tease you.
Once she returns she is quick to discuss that meeting with Zeldris and quickly they realize that they have met the same person. From then on it isn't hard for either of them to admit that they want to get to know you better and they are quick to agree to do this together.
Zeldris will be the one you mainly interact with and mostly on the battlefield, so getting closer to you is imaginably hard. Yet, he somehow manages to get your name and more personal information, which he later eagerly shares with Gelda.
A few months of this and it is decided: the two of them want you with them. Seeing however that they have to operate in secret they come up with various plans that are just as quickly dismissed. Lucky are they when other demons catch you as a war prisoner and even luckier are they when Zeldris manages to get his hands on you.
The demon has a good reputation and it doesn't take much to make it look like you died in captivity, just another death that could have been avoided but wasn't.
In truth, you find yourself bound up in a small cave, Gelda greeting you as you open your eyes with a pounding headache and something so desperately wrong with you as you can't move your body, can't even lift a finger as your vision remains blurry. You barely hear it when the vampire explains the situation to you, that you will slowly regain your bearings and that you don't have to be afraid. You don't hear her expressing her apologies for how rough they had to get to have you or hear Zeldris when he arrives to make sure you are as fine as the situation allows it.
Over the next few days, they will give you time to adjust to your surroundings, feed and take care of you as you slowly regain the control of your body. To your horror, your wings remain limp, the once blinding white feathers now a light grey that lost their shine. Dread fills you as Gelda explains that they didn't want to risk you escaping and Zeldris has the guts to look a bit ashamed for taking their mobility from you.
Don't mistake their light bantering among the two of them and the gentleness they show you, they are not above fully ridding you of your wings or anything else they deem a threat to their ownership of you.
It's been so long since I have been written something a bit longer like this. I'm not totally satisfied with how it turned out, but it feels great all the same.

King of Chaos Arthur x Male!Reader
Warnings: Reader is the son of Zeldris and Gelda, Spoilers from manga chapters 104 - 108 aprox. (nothing really big, just storywise)
Word count: 1342
Thank the anon who requested it for his OC! I tried contacting him days ago because I'm not used to doing requests specifically for OCs (I prefer that my works are more "general" so the most people are able to insert themselves or their OCs in the stories) but since this was requested some time ago I couldn't receive an answer. In the end I decided to publish it writing (Y/N) instead of the OC's name, but keeping his main characteristics. That way if the OP who requested it comes through this he can just insert their name and know it was written specially for him, and at the same time other people can enjoy easily the oneshot too! Hope you like it!

Generally speaking, Arthur's knights don't usually comprehend some of his majesty behaviours. His mood changes whenever you least expect it. Just when you think you know his strategy, he says something you would never have thought about. Was he having a good or a bad day behind that smile? Who knows. But what they do know is his hatred for other races except humans.
Except that maybe that isn't really true, since their king has been visited by a certain someone from time to time, who was not only a demon, but half demon and half vampire.
Today was one of those days. The secret entrance that connected Camelot with the demon realm (and that was made specially for him) activated, and a familiar face passed through. Arthur didn't waste no time, and upon noticing his entrance he went to welcome him back
"A surprise visit today (Y/N)? You always like to impress me, don't you?" - The King approached him laughing - "Although I would prefer if you told me beforehand, that way I can at least prepare something and make sure I have no appointments"
(Y/N) didn't change his serious expression, arms crossed and looking directly to Arthur while the entrance behind him closed.
"I wish I was here just to kill some time, but this time was urgent. I couldn't stay anymore there"
Arthur stopped laughing and tilted his head, now curious of what had happened for him to be talking like that.
"That really isn't new with you, but what happened this time?"
"The four knights have entered the demon realm" - Arthur smirked at the information, seeing that Guinevere's words weren't a lie.
"Oh, I know, some of my knights are already following them, anything else I should know?"
"Well, I know my parents have already talked to the green haired one, Percival I think it was... and he was accompanied by a few more people..." - (Y/N) looked away while thinking for a few seconds, with a subtly sorrowful expression on his face that only could be noticed while paying extreme attention to him - "Mmh... I also saw my cousin there, Tristan... don't tell me he is what I think he is" He looked back at Arthur, who was smiling once again, trying to control his laugh
"So you didn't know it? I thought your parents maybe had told you... ~ But yes, he is one of the prophecy knights"
(Y/N) frowned, not wanting to believe a close member of his family had just become one of his biggest enemies
"By my father's look, it seems that he didn't know about it"
"So Meliodas didn't want to risk his son's life by spreading information, typical of him" - Arthur shrugged and started walking, inviting (Y/N) to follow him - "It must have been a big surprise for all of you"
"Everything has been a surprise since they entered the realm if I'm being honest. I've heard my father talk wonders about Percival, it looks like the whole clan adores him since years ago, and I didn't know anything about what had happened until now. It feels like my parents decided to drop every ounce of unknown information today, and the worst part is that it affects us" - (Y/N) clicked his tongue thinking about it - "I hate it"
"Can't blame you. I don't like them either ~" - Arthur responded with a bratty laugh, followed by a deep sigh from his companion, which made him stop his laughing once again, looking at him out of the corner of his eye - "Sorry, but you already know the story behind it, I can't bring myself to tolerate them just one bit"
"Yeah, I know, I can't defend them I guess. Anyways, I do need to tell you something else"
Arthur turned his head to face him again
"Wait, there's even more?" - (Y/N) nodded, looking at his surprised violet eyes
"Did you know that another portal to Camelot has appeared in the demon realm?"
Arthur's eyes opened with surprise, being this information the only thing he really didn't know about
"I didn't have any idea. I've never done any other connection with the demon realm besides your entrance. And I also didn't sense anyone entering from there"
"No wonder, since that opening is inaccessible for now. It's on the Behemoth's back, a giant monster which was put to sleep almost 15 years ago. I heard my father say that it recently woke up and now can be a big problem for us living in the realm, since when it's active it swallows up all life, including us demons or vampires... If that isn't your doing or your knights then I don't know what's happening"
"I see, well I don't think I have to worry that much then; although it might be because of those knights of the apocalypse, everyday giving me headaches... And besides, that would gather the attention to that one entrance, and not the one I made exclusively for you, which benefits us both, don't you think so? - Arthur smiled happily, closing his eyes - "If it ever becomes a problem you can come here! That's all I care about that matter"
"Thinking about it that way, I guess you are right" - (Y/N) lowered his head, thinking about his words and all the information he had to understand in just a few hours. Arthur opened his eyes, looking at him, noticing how lost in his thoughts (Y/N) was.
"Too much information huh? Understandable... but I'm glad you didn't waste time and came as fast as possible to explain it to me" - Arthur patted his head softly - "I knew making an exception for you was the right decision. But I also feared this moment, the moment when you would doubt yourself and how to proceed. Now that your parents are also involved, along with your clans, and helping my enemies; you want to help me, but at the same time it becomes more difficult, am I right? Can I also say that you might be a little scared? Scared of making the wrong decision, scared of losing what you love here in Camelot if you fail, and being considered a traitor at the same time. Nowhere to go in the end"
(Y/N) looked back at him, alarmed, trying to answer him fast, but the only words that initially left his lips were gibberish
"Arthur I-! I swore to help you and I'll keep doing it, it's just... too much information for the day as you said... I'll need to prepare myself for everything" - He took a deep breath - "But I know I'm in the right place, and I won't look back now... Because, I can also count with your protection, right?"
Arthur took back his hand from his head, smiling softly
"(Y/N), I'll be clear: Your safety is my priority, don't ever think the contrary" - A tint of blush appeared on both of them - "I'm just advising you to be careful so we don't need to take greater measures. Nothing would make happier than if you could live a "normal" life seeing the circumnstances. And think about having one of my marks, it would be safer"
(Y/N) turned his eyes away from Arthur's intense glare, breathing deeply
"Hmm... I'll think about it. The problem is if they ever see it, I won't be able to cover that up as easily as the entrance"
"Fair enough. We can discuss it again when I have the coffin of eternal darkness with me, that way you'll be free from its effect" - Arthur took (Y/N)'s hand, leaning to kiss its back - "Now... if you have told me everything you wanted, what about we spend the rest of the evening here?" - Arthur separated his face from (Y/N)'s hand, and continued walking holding his hand - "I could use some company while I wait for the results of this mission"

August Writing Challenge Day 14: Zeldris/Gelda
AN: I wasn't sure whether to set this before the vampires were sealed away for the first time... or after Zeldris has become the Demon King. I tossed a coin and it chose after, so this is set after Zeldris becomes the Demon King himself (not when his father is possessing him).
Zeldris couldn't believe it. He'd done it. He'd become the Demon King. Not just a vessel for his father to use, but actually for himself. And that came with a benefit he'd been looking forward to for over three thousand years.
“Are you coming Zel?” Being able to go to bed... his bed in the Demon King's... his castle, with Gelda; the woman who'd just spoken. And the woman he loved. He nodded, making his way over. Though... what he was curious about was what his lady love was wearing in bed. He'd, politely; like he'd been taught, left the room so she could get changed. And when he'd come back in, she was under the blankets. He hoped she wasn't naked; he wasn't sure if he could handle that right now.
“Want to know what I'm wearing for you?” She smirked. Zeldris wondered if she could read his mind now. She had bitten him after all. A few times, though only once had been during battle. He... kind of liked how it felt to be bitten by her. He swallowed, nodding. She pulled the covers back and his breath caught.
“Do you like it?” She was wearing a lacy negligee, bloody red and down to her mid calf. And nothing else. It looked beautiful. She looked beautiful. He nodded and she giggled.
“You look beautiful.” Gelda grinned, rolling on to her side facing him.
“Join me.” She patted the bed. He swallowed, a soft blush covering his cheeks. She had to know... to remember he slept in the nude. And he wasn't sure he could... resist the urge to touch her. He removed his clothes, seeing her raise an eyebrow at him.
“Oh, did you mean you wished to sleep with me in the figurative sense?” She teased. He knew she was teasing, but his cheeks flushed red.
“N-No! I sleep in the nude.” He made no move to banish the darkness which covered his body. He wouldn't do that until it disappeared as he dozed off. She smirked because she knew that, all too well.
“I hope I wake up before you then.” He spluttered and she laughed. He knew he had to climb into bed though, so did it before the nerves could set in. She gestured for him to come closer, so he did, unable to deny her. Her arms slid around him and he copied, all too happy to cuddle. He could cuddle with her.
“Sometimes I can't help thinking this is just a dream. That I'm actually still in my shield and sleeping. Wishing for this.” Zeldris knew what she was meaning. All too well. He'd several dreams like that himself. Imagining lying in bed with her, cuddling up. Waking up with her in his arms.
“I'm waiting for the moment I wake up and discover this isn't real myself.” Gelda smirked at him.
“Do you need me to take a nip out of you to convince you you're not?” He blushed and her smirk widened. He wouldn't mind her doing just that. She leaned in, brushing her lips to his neck.
“Am I allowed?” Another kiss to his neck and he swallowed.
“Maybe in the morning. If this is real.” She grinned and cuddled in a bit more. He smiled softly. It felt very real right now. She was cool to the touch, like he remembered. And cuddling with her felt nice.
“If all this is real... maybe I'll let you take this off me. And we can cuddle some more without the pesky clothes in the way.” A blush covered his cheeks again. Gelda like that was also something he'd dreamed of.
“What are you thinking about Zel? Something naughty?” He spluttered.
“I want to cuddle. With or without clothes on.”
“Did it hurt your pride to admit that?” She teased; cuddling wasn't 'manly'. Not that Zeldris cared about manly. He cared about what felt good. And her in his arms felt good. He squeezed a little tighter, making her sigh in pleasure.
“I'd guess not. Sweet dreams, my love.” No. No he wasn't going to sleep with that. He wanted to... do something even less manly. He leaned up a little and brushed his lips to hers softly.
“Sweet dreams, my love.” He said back, now he'd done what he wanted. She grinned, her eyes fluttering shut. He copied, relaxing in her arms. He felt the soft brush of her lips against his forehead before he was dragged off to sleep.
AN: I hope this was different enough to the last snippet I wrote for these two... they got a sleep related one last time too. Zeldris wakes up in the morning and finds Gelda still there with him. He follows through on his promise and lets her 'take a nip out of him' (drink his blood). That tells him it's real.

Brainwashed Meliodas au. I found this fanfiction where goddess Elizabeth fell in love with Meliodas but Meliodas doesn't love her so in desperation she brainwashed him. 3000 years later, the spell is getting worn out. Thoughts?
i don't think i know that fanfiction, but this is an interesting premise.
First off, why was the she desperate? Was she desperate to be loved at all or desperate for him specifically to love her? I'm gonna assume the latter to this question, because if she just wanted to be loved, Mael was also right there, although she only saw him as a younger brother figure.
Elizabeth was also the daughter of the supreme deity. You'd think that with that kind of authority she'd have plenty of admirers, although the fact that she was apparently not officially part of the goddess military might've made her seem either as useless (if she was offered to be part of it) or as implicit betrayal (if she refused to join or left), both of which may have turned away any goddess who could've have feelings for her but wasn't close to her, regardless of how much Elizabeth ended up actually doing.
So question remains why Meliodas specifically. Since he needed to be brainwashed, he obviously didn't love her of his own accord. Did he like her platonically but Elizabeth wanted more? Or if he didn't like her at all (they were sorta arch enemies back then), perhaps she just wanted someone to see her as an equal and individual with her own goals instead of just the SDs daughter (who failed to fulfil her role as a puppet for her mother) and only Meliodas, who was more or less in the same situation as her was able to see her like that, regardless of whether or not he liked her or not.
If that's the case, Meliodas was the only one she ever felt seen by, even if he tried to kill her.
On the other hand, Elizabeth may not have wanted for Meliodas to love her because she was desperate to be seen, but was desperate to end the war between the 5 races. Meliodas was one of the demons strongest fighters. If he left the demons, they would be at quite the disadvantage. And of course the most effective prisons are the ones where the prisoner doesn't KNOW he's imprisoned, hence the brainwashing.
Meliodas believes his feelings are his own and so the story goes as it goes.
3000 years later, the spell gets worn out. How does it happen? Just wear and tear? Did his own emotions finally break through the spell? I imagine brainwashing is like... okay, so you have your own emotions, imagine those like a picture with different colors and like red is anger, blue is sadness, pink is love, black is hate, etc. And the brainwashing basically puts an additional layer over this picture with certain parts filtered. In Mels case, black is now pink, so Elizabeth, whom he hated before, is now someone he loves. But the brainwashing can't drown it out completely. So sure, the brainwashing works for a while, but his real emotions are still there, still alive, under that filter-layer, always thumping against that filter and eventually wearing it down until it breaks.
Or maybe something happened that broke his brainwashing? Like idk, some enemy? Or when he was fighting the vampires and Gelda, did seeing Gelda and remembering the times from 3000 years ago (before he was brainwashed into loving Elizabeth) trigger something?
But regardless of how it happened, once the spell is broken, Meliodas won't just remember that he doesn't love Elizabeth, he'll also remember how much he didn't love her, meaning if he hated her before, he'll hate her about 300x more intensely now. Even if he retains the memories he made with her. Because those memories were all lies. She lied to him, made him betray his own clan, his only family, his friends (if he had any).
I also just remembered, Meliodas had the commandment of love. He couldn't hate anyone or else be rendered unable to fight. We see in the manga that he also didn't love anyone or had just about any feelings at all. Even if he showed them, inside he probably felt empty.
Which brings up another question. Was Elizabeth desperate to be loved by him or did she want him to love as well? Maybe not love her, but anyone, and since she liked him already, she could fulfil her own wishes while "doing him a favor" (or however she would justify her using brainwashing).
And another thing, does Elizabeth feel guilty about using brainwashing? I think we can all agree that it's an objectively bad thing to do, even if it achieves positive things. You're not just overstepping boundaries here, you're essentially blowing them up with dynamite in order to get someone to do something they would never want to do.
So my question is really if Elizabeth believes that the ends justify the means.
Because if the answer is yes and she doesn't feel guilty about it, then she doesn't respect Meliodas and other people on a fundamental level, essentially only seeing them as puppets that she can do with as she wants. This also means she doesn't truly love him, not him as a full person of his own, but rather the idea of him. Because the real him doesn't love her, but she doesn't care enough to respect his feelings and brainwashes him. This also means that, in this au, Elizabeth would be a very selfish person.
If she DOES feel guilty, but never undid the spell, then was desperate enough to cross boundaries she never would otherwise (leaving you wondering what else she might've tried before brainwashing someone who wanted her dead), or was UNABLE to break the spell. In the latter case of which, it might not have been her herself, but her asking someone else to put the brainwashing on Meliodas in the first place.
And additional question, is this brainwashing thing a spell that Elizabeth just knew or is it something she had to look up? If that's the case, then perhaps breaking brainwashing is a different spell than applying it and Elizabeth didn't look up the breaking spell when she looked up the brainwashing and didn't get the opportunity to look up the breaking spell when her guilt overwhelmed her. So before she died and was cursed, and when she was reborn and got her memories back, the information was lost in the war or to time, thus leaving the spell to run its course for the next 3000 years until it wore off naturally.
Now back to Meliodas. Since the brainwashing wears off 3000 years later, he'll be in Liones by then, serving Baltra and either already in charge of the Sins or still gathering them. Or it's after the exile and the brainwashing breaks as Meliodas is on the run with the Boar Hat.
But regardless of where he is, his first instinct would be to seek Elizabeth out and either just kill her outright, or get an answer out of her first. He knows she'll just be reborn, but that only gives him to the satisfaction of killing her over and over and over again. And this time, he doesn't have to hold back on his hatred for her, because he no longer carries the commandment of love.

Hiya!!! Here's the WIPs I'm interested to hear more about, feel free to not answer if you don't wanna talk about these ones, or feel free to choose which ones you talk about ^^
Demon Essay (I'm very curious about this one)
Half blind meli
Gelda and Zeldris Angst
💜💜💜💜💜
The "Demon Essay" is something I started writing before the Demon Realm Arc in 4kota came out, before I started reading it in fact, and it's inspired by one of zorria's posts and kind of an exploration and 'defense' anaylsis of what we've seen from the demon clan. Big focus on Zeldris and antics from cursed by light. I'd love to send it to you and hear your thoughts, if you want!
2. I am very intrigued by my mutuals' angst aus especially the ones where Meliodas has more siblings. Half-blind Meliodas au is Balin's, and I thought the exteme gore and themes of it all might make for something really fun to work on during the spooky season.

ohhh LMAO should tag balin when I'm talking about its au: @gh0stofyesterday
Unfortunately a shitton happened since I first thought of my senario for this (ow) but it's is still in the works. My spinoff premise, basically, is about how his older sister's restless soul has - unbeknowst to the current her - kept cycling through a sort of 'unfair cosmic punishment' (as she'd call it) of reincarnations. She's lonely, she's angry, and she just can't seem to escape the repetition of loneliness and unfullfilment- 'cause she has no catalyst to help her get the help she needs to make a change for herself. And no therapist. Until, a couple loops through, she meets Meliodas again. Doesn't recognize him of course. Will she be able to connect with her brother? Will she even try? Can she? Tune in on: balin please help me make sure I didn't kidnap your character and play puppet with her incorrectly to find out!
And here's, uh, an excerpt:
The first time she ever looked at his sullen face, the burning rage in his eyes could level a mountain. Yes. Both of them. The exposed medical disaster that was his right eye barely moved as he tracked her movements, her wide lopsided smile, the tilt of her head, and the way she clasped her hands together as she told him “Welcome!” and motioned for him to sit beside her in the tent.
“I don’t know how to work with any of this shit,” he told her matter-of-factly, indicating her display of medical equipment. She’d only set it out arranged like this so it looked like someone was living and doing something worthwhile in here, but that was too pathetic to explain, so she just did the usual act of nodding like yes, she meant to do this, and “offering encouragement” instead of “retaliating to every little change in the atmosphere.” That curse rolled off his tongue as if he was mocking a dumb word in another language he was being forced to use and she didn’t appreciate it, not when the only thing they gave her to represent her expertise and profession was a flimsy banner saying ‘me-decal recruitment’ and they sent in this man with a sword slung across his back as a candidate.
“Not everyone has the skillset right off the bat-” oh, he didn’t seem encouraged by that at all. Toned-down confrontation it was. “Woah. Could you stop . . . radiating, hostile energy? Could we talk about that, by any chance?” “What do you know about me?”
“Excuse me, I asked you a question.”
3. The Geldris is inspired by what I feel is a severe lack of vampire Gelda antics and nicknamed affectionally as the "blood-drinking fic." The first is from Zeldris's perspective and involves one of his 'secret' shenanigans / errand master antics from the Holy War Era and is supposed to include a second "aftermath" part with some demon bros bonding. The second, is, uh . . . idk what to write for that yet! ideas welcome. I'm thinking a domestic scene.
Wrote a little metaphor - poem for when Gelda drinks his blood:
He tasted like wild berries and trampled leaves
quick snacks between sprints
one old seasoned bird snatched on a flight
That kind of quickly devoured game which took weeks of stalking
And a piece of the juiciest fruit handed down with love.
Like someone who cared for others before he cared for himself. He tasted like her.

What happens if Meliodas never betrayed the demon race?
With the demon race winning and becoming more dangerous with Meliodas in their side. The goddesses race decided to seal them all thus losing their physical form.
The og gowther won't sacrifice himself to stop the holy war and still might be with the TC. The vampires still got sealed since even without Mel's betrayal they fought back or Zeldris sealed the vampire race so they won't get affected by the war and Gelda.
How would Britannia survive?
Honestly not sure. Maybe The sins will still formed but Elizabeth would be the leader. How? Well, the SD gave Eli immortality and tasked her to look after the seal so the demon race won't be resurrected.
I would like this au because I love evil baddass Mel and demon gowther and Mel friendship maybe even brother bonding between Zeldris and Meliodas since there is no Estarossa.
You can't tell me otherwise that Gowther doesn't stay by Mel side and is his best friend, the one he is most comfortable off, and everyone knows that. It was obvious.
When the TC got resurrected, Gowther was beside Mel as they listen Fraudrin talking, informing them what happened for 3000 years even in Edinburgh.
If Meliodas never betrayed the clan, things would be VERY different. For one... he and Elizabeth would never be in love, nor would the Sins actually exist! At least... not in the same way they do now, at least. The series as a whole would be fundamentally changed because there would BE no Great Holy War, there would be no Giant and Fairy King Drole and Gloxinia joining the Commandments, which would mean that King's disappearance and resulting amnesia wouldn't result in Elaine being the only one to protect the Great Forest and Fountain of Youth, meaning Ban would never have had to drink the Fountain, because Gloxinia would still be around.
With Drole around than there's a chance Diane wouldn't have had to suffer as much as she did growing up and might not have been abandoned because Diane would be very much like Drole. Even if he isn't present, the actions and events affecting her would change as well because he would most certainly challenge the death of Matrona, even if she isn't a queen she was at the very least one of his chieftains, and he wouldn't have let Diane simply take the fault for her death simply because she was present. The political world would look completely different!
That's not even getting into the changes from Demon Clan and Goddess Clans or the changes humans would have because, with no Great Holy War, there would be no sealing if the demon clan. The way magic worked would be fundamentally different. Humans would not have nearly as much power as they have on present-day Brittania! Even if they did get sealed and war did happen anyways, it wouldn't have been nearly as bad as it had been when Meliodas had betrayed the clan. There'd also be no Estarossa, and Elizabeth probably wouldn't even NEED immortality because she'd have never been resurrected as a human and would have retained her goddess form, effectively making her immortal anyways!
