Fairy Queen Titania, wife of King Gloxinia, originator of Tír na nÓg
Loooong character bio/story summary because I struggle with writing long fics!! I wish I could write a whole story about these two and their relationship but know I wouldn't finish it ;;
Her special ability is Wither, any living thing she touches will decay almost instantly — excluding fairies as their bodies don't rot even in death and she isn't able to turn it off. To compound her destructive nature, Titania isn't capable of any of the nature-nourishing magic that is innate to the Fairy Clan. Because her special ability is similar to an aspect of the Fairy Kings' ability, Disaster, but only the aspect of decay, Titania was surrounded by skeptics.
In her young life she was subtly outcast from the community by her fellow fairies. Titania spent decades of her life lonely and despising the fact that she was failing her duty as a fairy until she met the King of Fairies, Gloxinia. Gloxinia was curious about Titania's abilities as he noticed that even though Wither was destructive in the moment in following decades all flora that grew where Wither was used came up healthier and heartier, though Titania and the other fairies had their doubts.
The two spent years together trying to understand how to get control of Wither, though Titania was holding out hope that he would a way to remove her "curse" permanently. Slowly, the attempts to help her shifted into spending time together simply because they enjoyed each other's company. Gloxinia had it as his personal mission to try and make the sad woman smile with tricks or jokes or games, anything he could to try and lift her spirits.
It was through that closeness that they were able to learn that Gloxinia himself was able to neutralize her decay ability, just by being capable of using Disaster. With Gloxinia, Titania was able to feel safe enough to spend more time with the other fairies and finally experience what living as part of the community was like. Though Titania still felt like an outsider or a guest, rather than a complete part of the Fairy Clan.
Using her magic, Titania created an island for herself called Tír na nÓg, the effort she spent nearly ended up killing her. She only survived thanks to Gloxinia finding her and getting the help of the other fairies to heal her. The creation of Tír na nÓg granted Titania an immortal lifespan as her magic is tied to every living thing on the island. As long as a single blade of grass grows, Titania and any mortal being will live.
Tír na nÓg was the first place that Titania truly safe and comfortable, as she could walk around without worrying about upsetting anyone as she withered the flora around her. Only those who are given permission can set foot on or even find the island. One could search for a thousand years for the Land of the Young and never see its shores. It's Titania's own safe haven. She granted permission to her dear friend Gloxinia and it became a place for the two of them to spend an untold amount of time together, relishing in each other's company.
Eventually, their relationship evolved past companionship into love and eventually marriage. As it was the wedding of the first King of the Fairies, it was a gathering full of friends and love. Even the ever-anxious Titania was more rambunctious and lively, keeping the party alive until well into the next day with singing, dancing, and drink. On her wedding day, Titania truly got to experience being herself, wholly and unapologetically.
On the first night they spent together as a married couple, a nearby flower was made to bloom from the joy Titania felt and once she noticed it she was so overwhelmed at being able to create life for the first time, she cried while holding it. Gloxinia blessed it to never die and tucked it into her hair, his first gift as her husband and her most treasured possession.
However, following the ancient Holy War and the disappearance of Gloxinia as he joined the Demon Clan, Titania's joy came to an end. Without Gloxinia there to tether her to the forest, she retreated to Tír na nÓg permanently. No one within the Fairy Clan knew what happened to her and for thousands of years, until the unsealing of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness and Gloxinia's return.
Wanting to know the fate of his wife, Gloxinia asks Gerheade and the other fairies if anyone has heard anything about Titania as no one seems to mention her. Through them, Gloxinia learns about her vanishing but no one can say for sure what became of her. Taking this as a chance, he asks those at the Boar Hat to keep an ear open for rumors. He confesses that no matter how hard he tries he can't find Tír na nÓg and suspects that becoming a demon severed his connection.
Tír na nÓg might have been her personal paradise but he's sure she would have allowed other misfits like her to find refuge in its eternal paradise. Eventually, a lead turns up and brings them to an old woman with a much darker story to tell than Gloxinia is expecting. The old woman spent time on Tír na nÓg herself as one of the immortal Fair Folk. As a young woman, she was mistreated by the people of her village when one night a beautiful young woman appeared and offered her a place in paradise.
She spent years in Tír na nÓg, living in a place of beauty and bounty when she met a man she would soon fall in love with and wanted to return to the mainland to raise a family. The ruler of Tír na nÓg refused to allow them to leave, viewing the rest of the world as an inescapable hell, and warned them of the severe consequences if they should ask again. So the lovers devised a plan to escape the island that was as much a prison as it was a paradise. Under the cover of night for weeks they built a boat to flee on. When the night to escape came, the forest began to shake and shudder and rot as the full power of the ruler of Tír na nÓg approached them.
The man sacrificed his chance to escape and shoved the boat out, promising to distract the tyrant holding them prisoner and promising to find her. And so the old woman has been waiting for decades now, alone in her home. She laments leaving the love of her life behind, knowing that if he's alive she's aged well beyond her beautiful prime and fears for all the other poor souls that the tyrant has preyed upon. Her sweet voice promising the outcasts of society a home and safety only to chain them like dogs in a beautiful, immortal prison.
The woman's story lives Gloxinia reeling. He can't imagine his dear, sad Titania being capable of that level of cruelty but he also knows just what grief can drive someone to do. What it drove him to do. Gloxinia asks the woman if she knows any way to get back to Tír na nÓg which she confirms, giving him some stones from the shore as anything taken from Tír na nÓg can lead someone back. After expressing his gratitude, he takes the stones and returns to Meliodas to decide what to do next.
The group follows Gloxinia as he heads to Tír na nÓg and is unsettled by the eerie atmosphere and fog that hangs over the island. Screamers attack as they make landfall and quickly hide to avoid the sight of a fairy woman patrolling over the forest canopy. Slowly making their way through the forest, they encounter a village filled with terrified humans who beg them to bring them back to the mainland. The commotion is cut off by a man matching the description the old woman gave of her love, a man named Nico, who explains the reason the island is in the state that it's in.
Titania, the tyrant of Tír na nÓg has been using tricks to bring humans to the island against their will, even going so far as taking children and babies from their parents and replacing them with changelings if they weren't loving them enough in her eyes. Following the escape of one human woman, his beloved, an enchanted fog appeared around the shores, choking anyone who attempted to leave. It seems day by day, Titania falls further into madness. The island has been subject to earthquakes for the past few days as the ruler of Tír na nÓg is punishing them but no one knows for what reason. Gloxinia promises that he can fix this and when questioned, he simply smiles and says it's his duty as a husband to soothe his wife.
Their conversation is interrupted when a woman spots them talking to outsiders, flicking between everyone before calling them traitors and sprinting away into the forest to inform Titania. The man urges them to do whatever they're going to do quickly as they might not survive the day when Titania finds out.
Gloxinia hopes that Titania might come to her senses as soon as they reunite but the constant unending attacks from Screamers, the mysterious fairy, and the forest itself make him question his optimism. And sure enough when face to face with Titania, her eyes tinged with mania, those hopes are dashed. She calls them thieves and begins attacking. Gloxinia tries to calm her but for years Titania was tortured by visions of Gloxinia and believes him to be another one.
During the battle, Elizabeth asks why she's tormenting the villagers. Titania says she doesn't want to do any of it, they just need to give back the thing that they stole from her. It's then that Gloxinia notices the flower that he gifted her isn't in her hair but he can sense his magic nearby. He orders the others to hold her off while he finds it but makes it clear that if they hurt her too badly there would be hell to pay. Ban shoos him off saying they'll do whatever they need to do to make sure she doesn't kill anyone. Gloxinia isn't amused.
It takes some time and he's forced to fight the mystery fairy girl — Oberon, loyal attendant of Titania — but eventually Gloxinia finds the flower in the village. And it's utterly torn to shreds. Gloxinia picks up the damaged petals, looking utterly heartbroken when Nico appears behind him. Gloxinia asks if he was the one that destroyed the flower, which Nico confirms. He resents Titania for keeping him trapped here as one of her Fair Folk while the woman he loves will wait for him until she dies. Destroying the only thing she seems to treasure felt like a fitting punishment after she destroyed his happiness.
Gloxinia thanks him for his honesty and promises that Titania won't find out who stole the flower. He doesn't blame Nico for doing what he did but tells him that as her husband he can't stand knowing how sad she would feel if he didn't return it to her, then flies back towards the battle.
As he appears back on the battlefield, Oberon has joined Titania, even though she's injured. The pair of them look exhausted, having to take on the Sins but not too worse for wear. He flies up to Titania, offering the shreds of his first gift to her, and in an instant Titania begins crying - utterly horrified by what's happened to it. She swears she's going to kill everyone on the island but gets cut off by Gloxinia kissing the tip of her nose and chiding her for crying over something so trite.
In an instant, he injects his magic into the flower, healing it and restoring the bloom to full vitality. Titania is stunned, not believing her eyes before slowly reaching out and touching Gloxinia's face to confirm he's really there and not a hallucination. Once she confirms it, she utterly collapses into him, apologizing and begging for forgiveness but once again he chides her for her dramatics. He tucks the flower back into its rightful place in her hair before embracing her properly and finally kissing his wife again after three thousand years apart.
Following Titania's return to her senses, she returns the children to their families and allows everyone to leave Tír na nÓg. To her surprise, some choose to stay. As long as Titania is the same kind, just queen she was when they first arrived they're more than happy to stay. Oberon hands Titania a magic stone they can communicate through and says she'll take care of the Fair Folk while their queen spends time with her husband. If they need anything or she needs them, a message into the stone is all it will take. Nico doesn't hesitate to climb on the boat back to the mainland, ready to finally be with the love of his life again and fulfill his promise.
Gloxinia is just happy to be with Titania again and show her the world, the new fairy forest, whatever she wants as long as they can stay together.

this is a variation on the GoE outfit. I've changed it since 2021 a few times. But in the end I went back relatively to its very first version with a few changes. But in doing so, I wanted to make the new outfit harmonize with Deathpierce’s armor.
Tumblr media
I've had this long white dress for a long time. And I think everyone has seen it many times. But besides it, I want to add more outfits for variety. The long version of the dress I use for the time period before the main plot of 7ds. And the short version, I suppose, this is about 1-2 seasons nnt(but it's not exact)
Tumblr media
you can see the other collar here. This was the original version of the outfit, but at some point I abandoned the idea.
Tumblr media
Deathpierce when he found out that Lucy knew about Hendricksen and Vivian's dealings in Liones, but didn't tell him anything. And now he's wondering if she was their accomplice.
She was in close touch with Vivian and knew of many of her affairs. But she preferred to stay out of it as much as possible. Though when the truth about what was going on in Lioness came out, Lucy had gotten in trouble for it. However, many in Lioness were doing the bidding of Hendriksen and Dreyfus. Therefore, she was justified like everyone else ~

Opal: The Virtue of Chastity (NNT OC Breakdown)
Tumblr media
Buckle up, this’ll be a LONG ONE!
💞🕊️
Opal is the Dove virtue of Chastity. She was created by a goddess race builder, Araceli (an OC), who wished to create life. She is the third member of the virtues to join up and is the oldest virtue. She is possibly the most powerful.
Opal is over 3,000 years old, created during the Holy War as a prototype. She is a puppet.
Her builder was heavily inspired by Gowther’s doll and tried to steal his ideas. This means some of her abilities are similar to Gowther’s, such as her ability to shape shift.
Out of Selflessness, and his own wish for freedom, Gowther gifted her sentience and urged her to escape the Stigma base and the battlegrounds.
For 3,000 years she traveled the continent, learning about humans and protecting the human towns from whatever threatened them.
She was still doing this during the Second Holy War, and participated in Gloxinia and Drole’s fighting festival.
Tumblr media
Recent concept art
She meets Princess Violet after booking a room at the Boar Hat tavern. Meliodas recognizes her energy as Goddess magic, and invites her to the castle to see Elizabeth.
She has good relationships with her teammates, particularly Emerel, because of his scientific mind. She and Violet become very close friends.
Araceli modeled her after Nerobasta, who she saw often. Opal’s current day appearance is inspired by the castle paintings, one being Nadja’s.
Opal adores feminine things. She will show up to battle in petticoats and heels and be just fine, because she’s that good.
She has a strong desire for companionship. Araceli was a lonely builder, and it was passed onto her creation.
Opal is a hopeless romantic but has never had a partner because she’s afraid of losing someone. No one lives long enough for her to live happily ever after.
Tumblr media
Recent Concept art
She has a baseline power level of 6,000 because she was created with the intent of fighting lower-level demons that the Goddess race didn’t want to bother with. However, over the last 3,000 years, that has nearly doubled.
Her magic is all defensive, but can be repurposed into offensive with strategy.
Bubble: encases herself and others into a pearly white bubble. It only needs to be cast once, and doesn’t require effort to keep it stable. When she's done, she can pop it.
Dome: a dome of varying sizes that keeps everything in or out— it is a physical, glassy barrier. Being hit only makes it thicken. The only way to beat it is to hit as hard as you can the moment it appears.
Shield: A solid disc she can use as a shield. She can also summon a bunch of smaller discs and throw them at the enemy.
Despite her sentience, she can still be used as a puppet. If someone knows the magic phrase, Opal becomes a vessel for that person to use their own powers through her. Her body was built to withstand goddess magic, so she’d hold up well. She is careful not to let others know this phrase.
Tumblr media
More refined concept art
She earned the Virtue of Chastity for her efforts to protect human lives. “For protecting innocent lives from corruption, leaving their lands pure and untouched.” She was given a dove tattoo on her forearm.
She does have a love interest who belongs to a friend of mine— he is a Zeldris x Gelda child. They’d be very slow burn. His name is Stephan.
Her arc would probably be learning how to let people in, because she’s afraid of caring about people too much. There would also be an arc about her past and meeting Gowther again for the first time in 3,000 years, which might be big for her.
The Masterlist contains links to the other virtues!

Tilly And Rowan as babies :)
Tumblr media
I've drawn these two before, but as older kids. I rarely draw babies but I really wanted to. I hope it came out well, my technique continues to evolve... I do eyes differently now and technically they're color gradients are a little different as I've reevaluated why I started coloring that way to begin with...
I tried to display a lot their personalities in this image. Not just their poses or expressions but other small ques like how Tilly has removed her own socks, and their outfits in general.
Honestly the entire time I was designing their clothes I was thinking about how viewers might interpret them. I spent a lot of time thinking about how it's probably going to be passed over as just...baby clothes. How Rowan is obviously a boy and Till is obviously a girl based on how I dressed them. But we recently learned from chapters of 4kota that Fairies kinda have a looser idea of gender and I personally don't care about gender roles anyway, their sexes actually have nothing to do with these choices. My first thought was actually practicality. With babies dresses and such are more practical because it's easy to change them that way. But keeping babies warm is usually important too.
Ultimately I actually ditched practicality in favor of what each child would be comfortable wearing, which is the same idea that caused me to draw Tilly's socks on the floor instead of on her feet.
Rowan is timid and insecure, he'd feel more comfortable, safer, in a onesie like that.
Whereas Tilly is adventurous and confident, she prefers freedom. She'd probably make a habit of undressing herself in general, as many babies do for the first while.

remember Donny and Anne's girl I drew at the sketch requests? Well I love her so much I wanted to draw her as holy knight apprentice . I also thought about a name, I think about Etheldreda, Ethelda or Etheldred. I love her so much I realy want to have her in my fanfiction and she will be Donny's daughter and a friend of Galahad, Constantine and Loh. She got some power like Gilthunder and he teaches her too. the boy on the left is Mordred with his sacred weapon Tywill Haul; (in his realm he is able to talk) his magic power is called "Wish Realm" It's a magic born of Chaos, and probably the only way to defeat Arthur his magic can let people fell asleep and controls this dreams. He is also able to get into others dreams and harm then or just watch them. One time he saw Escanor in one of his (own picked) adoptive father Meliodas dreams when he watched him sleep as a child. Since then he is fascinated from that man. Through this he managed to awake a new side of his power. When he has the perfect image of a person he can let it exist in his realm. So he mets with Escanor in his dreams, to tease him he always tells him that he is just an imagination made by him, but Escanor doesn't believe that foolish boy. In secret he realy adores him and he realy wishs he would have met him in person. His design is not for no reason like that. I thought it funny to mix Arthur and Merlin, like Gawain looks a lot like a mix of Escanor and Merlin to me. he is not related to Arthur(right now) he is an orphan used by slave trader till he dissapeared using his powers. He was in Lioness back then and after Meliodas found him and saw his powers he decided to keep him, but also Mordred wanted to stay with him too.

Reborn Fairy AU(SDS-RBF-215*) Timeline Part 1: Pre-series.
💖Previous Life💖
✨ Maranwe was a human from another world who was in an automobile accident and left comatose. In the ethereal planes between, her restless soul encounter the Supreme Deity, who offered her a deal- “I will give you the new life you’ve always dreamed of, in return all you need to do is give your love to the King of the Fairies and prevent Chaos from awakening into our world”. Not knowing exactly what that meant, the lost soul accepted.
The Supreme Deity, being locked in slumber, can only do so much as to pull this soul into her world and bind her to the Fairy King, Harlequin, with the intention of capturing his heart so he would never become The Grizzly Sin. She leaves the creation of Maranwe’s new form up to her Archangels.
✨ Ludociel was in charge of her new physical form, deciding she would be a Fairy, as this would place her directly in front of the Fairy King and allow her to bond with him from the start. He decided her previous form was reasonably attractive and doesn’t need to change much about her appearance.
✨ Sariel and Tarmiel worked together to decide what Maranwe will and won’t remember from her previous life.
Sariel worried she wouldn’t be able to accomplish her task if she starts out blank, he argued to keep her memories intact
Tarmiel was afraid that if she remembered everything perfectly she might go rouge.
They eventually came to a compromise, deciding to leave most of the information intact, but the context locked away, so she would have subconscious access to her full personality and the lessons she’d acquired in her existence, to help her win the Fairy King’s heart and prevent the formation of the Seven Deadly Sins.
✨ This plan would ultimately fail, as although Maranwe does have the unique quality of charming others and gaining love, other factors were not taken into account. Her own personality, the qualities of her heart and soul, and the will of Sacred Tree. Not to mention Maranwe’s own Destiny.
💖800 years Pre-Series💖
✨ Maranwe was born from a moonflower that appeared at the edge of the Fairy King’s Forest, in the middle of the night. Being born in the Fairy King’s Forest rather than inside the Fairy Realm proper is indicative of a special position, this only happens to the “Bard to the Fairy King”, an assistant to the Fairy King and the history keeper of each Fairy King’s reign.
Like how each Fairy King has the magical ability “Disaster”, Fairy Bards always have “Starlight” giving them a flawless memory and the ability to manipulate silvery light. It’s primarily used to project record of memories, though it can be used offensively if needed. The Sacred Tree also chose to enhance the unique perceptive ability native to Maranwe’s soul, turning it into the magical ability "Unique Perception" which lets her feel other people's emotions with the technique "Empathy", perceive souls and other life energies with "Soul Recognition" and see the threads that connect the fates of others, and the paths other people walk with the technique "Fate Sight". This technique isn't exactly predicting the future, but hopefully it would help her counteract the Supreme Deity’s design and give the new fairy back her free will.
Because of the deal struck with the Supreme Deity, Maranwe was automatically drawn to Harlequin. But her “Fate Sight” showed her that Harlequin’s destiny laid elsewhere, so she kept her feelings to herself and never attempted to steal his heart, conceding to simply be his friend.
Though one fairy’s heart would belong to Maranwe regardless. For Helbram it was love at first sight. This strange new-born fairy, bathed in starlight, was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen and he’d spend 100 years trying to get her to look his way, while she only had eyes for his best friend.
💖700 years Pre-Series💖
✨ At his request (read “pestering”) Maranwe accompanied Helbram and his group to meet with humans. Since she didn’t have wings, Maranwe was sold to someone else instead of being murdered for them.
Seeing Helbram struck for trying to protect her as she was pulled away, Maranwe’s resolve sharpened past her fear and her wings sprouted. In the ensuing chaos, rather than fleeing, she tried to free her friends, making her easy to recapture. The men who had bought her maintained that they’d already paid the price agreed on, and anything that happened afterwards was the sellers problem. As she was now technically worth more with wings.
The men who bought her, a pair of brothers she’d learn later, had different ideas of what a Fairy was good for.
They locked her in a cage beneath their house and would harvest blood from her every full moon. She was nailed to a wall by her wings after an escape attempt early in her captivity. Having little else to do, she practiced her magic eventually learning to use her abilities without the help of her special lyre, which she lost in the chaos of the initial attack. She also  developed several new techniques.
💖9 years Pre-Series💖
✨ Seven hundred years after her capture Maranwe is able to escape her prison. The passing centuries had worn at the stone wall and rusted the spikes keeping her in place, till eventually she could pry them loose and, now able to defend herself with her magic, escape.
✨ The first thing she does is head home. She’s devastated to find it burned beyond recognition. She stays there for a time trying to get something to regrow, but it proves an impossible task.
During her stay she’s kept company by illusions of her old friends made by her own memories and her magical technique, “Stardust Mirage”. Something she did near constantly during her imprisonment. The Mirage of Helbram is particularly insistant, seeming to almost have it’s own will.
Her Mirages encourage her to leave the burnt forest and search for the Fairy King. She resists out of personal stubbornness are first, but of course she cant really argue with her own mind, so she does set off.
✨ She has a hard time of it, despite her various special perceptions. Along the way she hears rumors of a rouge knighthood, but thinks little of it. Wary of humans she keeps away from larger towns and kingdoms, which makes her task somewhat more difficult.
✨ At one point, she takes shelter in a cave during a rainstorm and finds a tavern tucked away in the back. Despite her reservations about humans, especially male humans, she finds the tavern master to be rather amiable and stays till the weather clears up.
✨ She does go to the Forest of White Dreams, hearing the rumors about it, but doesn’t encounter Diane. Instead she leaves after talking with the Hide and Seeks.

F!OC and 7DS scenario !
(I lost motivation for this because of getting sick so it's shorter than I wanted)
(Yve’s appearance; also has red lotus tattoos covering about 80% of her body and under all those tattoos is severe burn scars)
Tumblr media
Born of two citizens of Liones, Yvonne, usually called Yve, was raised like any other child at the time; until she was 8 years old and became interested in becoming a holy knight so she could protect her family as others did. Fortunately for Yve, her parents showed confidence in her ambitions and began to help her train and would buy her what she needed to train herself as she became a bit older and continued to show interest in her dream. Everything was going well for young Yve as she became stronger over the years and showed promise with her magic and swordsmanship skills until finally, the day came when she joined the holy knights as an apprentice.
But exactly one week after her acceptance, her parents were killed in an accident inside the city after the horses pulling a carriage became spooked and trampled the couple, killing them shortly after their injuries. Yve pressed on though, she fought harder than ever before; even though the days were becoming lonelier as the days went on and she stared at her empty apartment, wishing for some companionship of some kind. She waited to do anything about it though as she focused on climbing up the ranks of the holy knights and became a platinum holy knight by age 20, which was her greatest accomplishment at the time; but it didn't last long.
The kingdom caught wind of a plot by a tribe of barbarians to split up and attack two sides of the kingdom in an attempt to overtake it, so the kingdom retaliated and sent out their own small armies of holy knights to dispatch the problem. There were two groups, group A and group B, and Yve was the leader of group B; this group's plan was to intercept the second cluster of barbarians that were going to hit one of the villages outside the kingdom for supplies and stop them there. They arrived before the barbarians and sought them out before battling against a small group of them and killing them all. Once they were all dead, Yve told the group to fall back to the village to get their wounded out of the open and to restock on supplies before the second wave arrived. Meanwhile, the two holy knights she was working with told her it was pointless and that they had done their job, so Yve followed their lead and instead of going back out after they restocked, they remained in the village and waited for orders from the kingdom.
That night, the village was attacked by a group of barbarians three times larger than the first encounter and they proceeded to burn it as they went; the two other high-ranking knights were tasked with keeping the barbarians back with other knights as Yve and a few select others began to evacuate the village, while a single knight fled on horse to retrieve help from the kingdom.
After a long day of fighting and using her magic, Yve found herself nearly done helping the villagers load into a wagon when she heard a child crying for help, so she ran back to the homes and realized the large burning complex of homes held a child inside, pounding on an upper floor window. Yve of course didnt hesitate and ran into the building to retrieve the child, but by the time she found the child every exit was in flames and she had no magic left to get them out; she knew if she tried she would fall unconscious, and they would both die for sure. She weighed her options, but as the child fell unconscious from smoke inhalation, she knew they didn't have much longer in the open air before it was too late and began to stomp on the floor until she fell through, then made her way to the basement and laid the child down on the cold stone. She then took off her oversized leather coat and laid it over both of them, while also covering the child's body with her own as the fire singed her hair and skin; and that's the last thing she remembers.
When she awoke, she was in a hospital bed in the castle's hospital wing and she was in so much pain she began screaming, so they had to drug her and put her into a coma for the time being; she was in almost full body bandages and had no hair left. She had overheard some nurses talking about her wounds and calling her disfigured and saying she should be put out of her misery while in a semi-unconscious state and began falling into a depression as she waited to heal. Things only became harder for Yve after she healed as she realized she had to learn to pretty much do everything again since she was completely bedridden and couldn't even move to feed herself, and this lasted for about eight months with many attempts at healing before she was sent to a somewhat large city outside the Kingdom walls where she could relearn to walk and things again, while also receiving the care she needed, such as bathing; although the 'hospital' was failing due to funding and Yve was just healed enough to be in such a place. Yve soon became deeply depressed as she felt the kingdom gave up on her and left her to rot for three months she did the bare minimum; but then one day, after she had a talk with one of the nurses, she decided her fate was her own and she would change it and see outside her bedroom walls again. She made it her goal to one day walk out of the village she was in and leaves it forever after having a life-altering talk with one of the nurses; Yve wondered why the gods kept her alive after experiencing something so terrible and the nurse's answer was, 'Why does it matter why? You are alive, that's what matters. maybe it was a fluke, maybe it was fate, but you're still alive and kicking so why not make it the God's problem?', and that made Yve see things a bit differently later that night. The nurse, who was named Maryann, was right. Yve was going to make it their problem, even if it meant staying alive through more hard events; she was spiteful now and wanted to have something to hate.
After that, Yve began to fight again to become even part of what she used to be, and even though it took four hard years before she recovered enough to leave the facility for good; she never looked back. During her rehabilitation, she began getting red lotuses tattooed over her scars to help her deal with her trauma from this event and remind herself that it is good in the dark, and she just has to find her good in the bad. Those four years were long and exhausting, but she changed as a person once again and found herself appreciating the little things in life that made her happy, no matter how small. Happiness is happiness. After she left she began to travel from place to place and do side jobs for the villages she visited, such as clearing out a den of giant spiders that were preying on a small village, or taking down a ring a men who were taking women from a larger village; but she never asked for much in return. Sure, she accepted payment for her deeds, but she never asked for much more than a home-cooked meal or a place to sleep, and she often saved her coins for food or other supplies instead of spending them on a place to sleep. Plus, when she was a holy knight she often slept outside or in odd places because it was the only way to get any sleep on long missions, so she finds it somewhat comforting, even to this day she can have trouble sleeping in beds; especially because of being bedridden for so long. Now, 26 years old, Yve's true adventure begins.
Yvonne hummed a small tune to herself as she walked through the forest, her black knee-high boots crunching the fallen twigs and leaves as she walked and she swung her jacket-covered arms; wearing a remake of her old oversized leather trench coat she used to wear before her accident, but this one had floral printed silk inside and fit her perfectly. Under her jacket was a white cropped tank with inch-thick straps and she also wore black leather pants with thick brown leather armor adorning her lower half and leather gauntlets under her jacket. She also had a pair of brown leather gloves on her hands with a matching belt with multiple pouches, then she had a sword in a holster on her left hip, and finally a large, brown, leather backpack on her back.
As she walked she kept her hands in her jacket pockets and her gaze jumped around occasionally to ensure no one or thing was around her waiting to strike. She stopped humming though when she heard a branch snap from behind her and she reached across her body and grabbed her one-handed sword out of its holster with her right hand and spun around while raising her left hand and preparing a blast in it, then pointed the tip of her sword at a short man with blond hair. She raised a brow as the man laughed nervously, "Hey there, sorry about that. I didn't mean to startle you, I was just on my way back to my way back to my tavern. Any idea where Clacton Village is? We can't seem to find it." He asked in a friendly tone as he gave a small tilt of his head. Yve stared at the male for a moment before giving a small nod and taking a folded piece of paper out of one of her many pouches around her hips then began to unfold it to reveal it was a map before pointing to where they were on the lap,
"We're here, But to get to Clacton you'll have to go the forest route because the main road there had a landslide so there's no safe way across." She started to explain in a soft tone before pointing at another spot on the map, "This is where you want to go, leads you straight to the village. Although I'll warn you, the village is pretty cut off from everything, and the people there aren't too sure about strangers, so be careful." She finished explaining. She then raised her gaze to the short male, who had his hand on his chin as he listened to her and stared down at the map before looking back at her and smiling a bit,
"Thanks for the info! Are you headed there too?" He asked with a small hum and another head tilt.
Although it seemed like a harmless enough question, it gave Yve anxiety and she glanced away as she seemed to shrink into herself,
"I'm not sure I'm comfortable answering that.." She said in a soft voice as she glanced away again. Quickly Meliodas shook his head and smiled
"It's okay, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, so I'm sorry about that. I was just wondering because we could give you a ride." He carefully explained as he tried to dig himself out of the hole he was creating, and his words caught her attention,
"We?" She repeated and seemed to relax slightly, although not completely. Yve has had her fair share of life-threatening situations and otherwise bad things happen to her and she actively avoided talking to most people for this very reason; to keep herself safe. As Meliodas nodded and smiled Yve listened closely and watched his every movement,
"Yeah, I've got my companions traveling with me. Maybe you've heard of us? We're the Seven Deadly Sins, and I'm Meliodas; the Dragon sin." He explained with that same smile never leaving his face. He was trying to be friendly but understood that Yve was hesitant, so he was trying to be careful so he didn't scare her; after all, he just wanted to help.
Yve's eyes went wide as he said who he was and found herself speaking before she knew it,
"Is Princess Elizabeth still with you? I heard she was traveling with the Seven Deadly Sins. Course, that was a few weeks ago, but still." She said quickly, then seemed surprised at herself and began to recoil back. The smile on Meliodas's face made her want to relax, but she couldn't still and glanced down.
"Yeah, she travels with us in between stays back at the Kingdom." He seemed a little confused and suspicious of Yve now. He tilted his head a bit and began to speak again, "How do you know Elizabeth?" He asked in an unsure tone. Yve couldn't help but glance down and smile nervously,
"Well, honestly I'm not even sure she'll remember me or recognize me.." She began to trail off but caught herself and shook her head a bit before continuing, "I was her personal guard when I was 18, back when I was a Holy Knight. She was the one person who kept it real, even though she was just a kid. She treated me like a person and not a weapon. I figure if there's anyone left in this world who might still be good, it's her." She explained in a quiet voice that got softer as she went on, rambling once again. During all this, Meliodas just quietly listened and began to understand a bit more, and as she finished explaining he gave her a reassuring smile,
"Well I can't promise she'll remember you, but I can bring you to her. She's at our tavern, I'll call her outside for you once we get there." He told her with a kind smile, hoping he didn't seem accidentally creepy again.
Fortunately, Yve didn't see it that way and instead gave one simple nod in response and soon the two made their way to the tavern. As they walked they asked each other some occasional questions, but Yve was noticeably unsure and only gave short responses all while seeming to be trying to hide her face behind her hair and had her hands in her jacket pockets. Meliodas didn't ask or push her and kept the questions simple as he tried to get to know her a little bit, and Yve had him answer the questions as well. By the time they arrived at the tavern, Yve had relaxed some and had even turned towards Meliodas a couple times and smiled, but her anxiety started getting the best of her as Meliodas told her to sit on the porch and he'd have Elizabeth come out; so she did. When The Princess came out, she immediately started crying and hugged Yve and rambling about how she thought Yve was dead; although Yve didn't tell her about the horrors she went through, she reassured Elizabeth that she was okay and tried to hide the burns on her face with her hair. Once the girls finished their small session of catching up, they went into the tavern and Elizabeth Introduced her to all of the Sins, where Gowther asked about Yve's tattoos; since he could see the red Lotuses peeking up under her clothes. She ended up taking a jacket off and showing the Sins some of the extent of her tattoos, but as Diane asked why she had so many covering her body, Yve became a little self-conscious and ended up telling everyone her story.
Once Yve was done talking, both Elizabeth and Diane were crying and saying how awful it must have been and the rest of the sins gave other sympathetic reactions as well, and that's when Elizabeth spilled the beans that her two fellow holy knights, Botulf and Krea, told everyone she died when she was transferred. Yve got understandably upset, then when Elizabeth told her that the two knights sold all her belongings from her apartment Yve became so upset she ended up punching a table and accidentally triggered her burst magic and exploded the table into small pieces. After Elizabeth helped Yve calm down, Meliodas suggested Yve come with them back to Liones so she could make things right with the Kingdom, and Elizabeth agreed while adding on that she would ask for a prison sentence of some kind; since Yve was upset and said she wanted to 'Make them suffer' as she did.
Fortunately, Yve agreed to this, and so her life was about to change forever.
