I was kinda scared to post this but, this is my gelfling character, Bryony!

I won't get into his backstory yet, but I'll tell a bit about him:

Bryony's mother was Grottan, but his father might have been one of those Mer-Gelfs I made a post about ;). Given the way genes work with the two species, Bryony looks mostly like his mother. Grottans don't typically bathe or take much care of their hair to begin with, and since Bryony doesn't wear braids, his hair just kind of stands up all over the place.

Bryony is a little different than other gelflings. He doesn't talk much and has some trouble communicating. If left alone, he could just sit for hours and watch butterflies, which really interest him. For this reason, Bryony shows signs of whatever a gelfling equivalent to Asperger's syndrome would be. Bryony loves sweets, and also enjoys writing stories and poetry, due to being much more comfortable with writing than talking.

I hope you all enjoy these sketches! I’m trying to diversify everyone a bit so their head/eye shapes don’t all look the same. The next sketch piece will be of the others I’m missing.

Here is the last one for the day! Both of these characters are so cute and they both like reading so I had to put them together lol I also really like Ahrys’ outfit, it’s so elegant.

Bryony and his best friend Aviva are on the run from the Skeksis. They see many places and make a few friends. To keep track of all these things, Aviva tells Bryony to keep a journal. This is his begrudging attempt to do so.
