reader is assumed as female and a prisoner of deadman wonderland

at the best of times, in his most stable state of mind, azuma is an aggressive person with a taste for blood and being in a position of direct authority over others

his entire job is killing, restraining and torturing people to keep them in line — prisoners who have done nothing to earn that title other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and he knows this

all of that to say that catching his eye at all would be incredibly dangerous because of his willingness to be violent — so to be a prisoner whilst having him be obsessed with you would be nothing short of hellish

you can’t escape him. you know you can’t. he knows you can’t. you know he knows this — and he knows that you know this

he can do anything he wants to you and you have no way of avoiding him or getting away

it’s hell for you; but it’s the best case scenario for him

limitless power over you: to control you, to keep you close, to isolate you, to kill anyone who gets close to you — and the influence to get away with everything

perfect.

even when he’s not physically with you, you can feel his presence everywhere and you’ll never be able to relax or let your guard down

you can feel him watching you through the cameras and you can already hear the play by play of your day being repeated back to him from the variety of spies he has around the prison

nowhere — nobody — is safe

and it would affect you, of course

you’d find yourself completely and utterly isolated and alone, unable to talk to or look at your fellow prisoners under the threat of them either being a spy or, if not, ending up dead once word got back to your owner that you were talking to them

the safest option is, of course, to go along with exactly what he wants — to be his subservient little wife that is perfectly and completely obedient to him no matter what

but that means giving him the satisfaction of your compliance — when disobedience means severe punishment towards yourself and your fellow men and women of deadman wonderland

if you snap at him he’ll beat you, torture you, until you settle — or torture your friends in front of you until you relent

if you obey he’ll just kill everyone around you anyway to keep you with him — but at least he won’t make them suffer and at least you’ll be safe

though, in the end, it’s entirely up to you
