List your 10 favorite pairings you shipped throughout 2023 for funsies.

In no particular order:

• Aegond - favorite incest ship from the favorite incest show, because we're all freaks on this site.

• Rhaenicent - I just think a lot of heartache would've been avoided if they just eloped.

• Aemma Arryn x Balerion (God of Death) - entirely a crackship but I found I really like it. I'm featuring it in my fic (the thing about dragons) and I regret nothing. I don't care if this is a rowboat and I'm the only one in it.

• SoapGhost - I blame Fisch for this. Most mainstream CoD ship that got me into CoD.

• Korangi - my favorite CoD ship, they're jsut really neat and in the same merc company and I just like them both.

• Winterfield - was back on Resident Evil shenanigans due to Reasons and I think Ethan deserves better than Mia, after all the shit she's done.

• Wintersberg - same as above but also Heisenberg is voiced by Neil Newbon and I think that explains everything.

• Kavetham - I'm a Genshin player, and a simple creature. 'omg they were roommates' + 'childhood friends to enemies to lovers' I'm sold.

• Caeheng - what can I say, they're boyfriends.

• Deslex - last but not least and probably most important, I had a lot of fun rediscovering ye olde protocreed hyperfixation. I started shipping Deslex about 10 years ago and I ship it to this day and I'm not going to unship it anytime soon. Am I going to drop another 22k oneshot on them? Not impossible. Plausible even. Am I going to draw them more in this new year? Hell yeah!

finally upgraded weapons for my mains and leveled them up. 

and even if theyall arnt lvl 90 most of them, except lumine and rosaria, were from lvl 40 to lvl 60 and i did not grind for their materials beforehand

What a day! 

While playing the co-op for fun, my Diluc and another Diluc adopted two Bennets. And then I adopted Bennet and Razor from different match! These two kept following me around before the match started, it was adorable! ♥ And then I finally got prototype from boss fight?! It actually happens? (Even tho I already got bow and would prefer claymore, it still dropped!)

Yeah and on a side note, I managed to level up Diluc to lv 80 in two days! Now I need talent materials and better artifacts!

“Your world is really strange, you know...”

Lumine doesn’t look up from her notebook as she says this. Fischl can’t make out the words she’s writing- it looks foreign. She can’t understand a lick of it, even if it’s laid out in front of her. She’s not sure why Lumine called her out to the Good Hunter if she clearly didn’t want her to read that notebook, but she appreciates the company.

“Oh? It is rare you bring this up.” Fischl can’t help the grin on her face. Even if everyone did believe her stories about her kingdom, no one ever claimed to be another otherworlder. “Are you perhaps longing to speak to the Princesszin about your travels?”

“A bit.” Lumine’s face is as impassive as ever. “It’s rare I meet anyone like me and Aether.”

Fischl looks at her curiously. “Your only kin, is he not?”

Lumine nods and continues to write. “We travelled a lot… though we skipped anything that looked like trouble. It was just supposed to be a fun vacation for us.”

“Obviously, that didn’t work out.” Lumine’s grip on her pen tightens a little. “But, ah… most worlds don’t really hold power in the same way you do.”

“That, of course, is because I, Fischl Prinzessin der Verurteilung, am of the kingdom of Immernachtreich.”

Lumine chuckles. “You know what I mean.”

“Well, I had found it typical of this world to wield elements in this way.” Fischl shrugs, leaning back in her chair. “What, pray tell, do the worlds beyond this do with their elements? Is it a more innate power when granted to them, or are only the chosen few allowed to hold such a thing?”

Lumine hums, twirling her pen around in her fingers. “Some worlds have powers… but not elemental ones. They’re more like… they move things with their mind.”

“Some other worlds are more… mundane, I guess.” She scribbles in her notebook. “The closest they can do is make fire by hitting small sticks against a hard surface.”

“And this is the most they can do?” Fischl huffs. “How peculiar! This world is one I’d decree is verily better than those.”

“Well, they have no Princesszin there, so I’d say any world pales in comparison.”

“But of course! I am unique only to-” Fischl pauses. “Speak plainly. Had you spoken of your travels to gain my interest, while wholly intending to end with that?”

Lumine looks her in the eye and takes a long sip from her drink. “No.”

“You are but a jester in the court for attempting to deceive me, Lumine.” Fischl squints at her.

“It would be your fault for going on a date with one, right?”

“Wh-” Fischl coughs. “Surely you jest?”

Lumine continues to sip her drink. 

“And when were you planning to- to tell your Princesszin you had such… intentions?”

Slurp.

“Lumine.”

Lumine coughs into her hand, looking away from Fischl. “I… guess I forgot?”

“You… had forgotten to inform me.”

Lumine sips her drink again. It’s actually impressive how she hasn’t finished her water, yet.

“Well,” Lumine says, moving to stand. “we can forget this ever happened. I’m sure Paimon’s looking for me, or something.”

“W-well, perhaps you should not be so hasty.” Fischl looks away- simply not to embarrass Lumine, not because she’s the one who’s embarrassed. “I wouldn’t be against an arrangement, even if it is bold for someone such as yourself to do something as… as this.”

Lumine looks at her, eyes wide. 

“Well that’s a relief,” she says, taking her seat again. “because Paimon would’ve demanded another Honeysuckle Roast if I left so early.”

Fischl doesn’t need to be a Princesszin to see the spark in Lumine’s eyes at her words, even if she can tell she’s itching to tell her stories to someone else, too. 

“So, did you intend to leave it at that, or do you still wish to let your sovereign know of any other worlds beyond the ones she’s known?”

Lumine’s more animated after that, speaking about her travels with a ghost of a smile on her face. Fischl’s long since vowed to help Lumine with her travels, but all of this makes her renew them- if only so that one day she could see Lumine smile with no worries in the world.

IM YELLING

Decided to do a ten wish after my first try in abyss (I got to floor 3 chamber 2, I want to get to xiangling but I suck at switching units on the fly) and I knew I wasn’t getting venti (;-;) so I started chanting fischl... and my wish came true. I am delighted and can’t wait to try Fishcl out as a unit (especially once I get xiangling)

Random Banner Shenanigan Update!

Jean and Fisch really came through in the clutch! I appreciate them so much after this. I rolled on Klee’s banner for masterless star glitter so I can get Kaeya from the store right? I am supposed to be saving all my primogems for Kazuha and I was looking at having to wish an mount of times I definitely don’t have the primogems for(like 13 ten rolls and I only saved to this point 67 wishes for Kazuha, basically 6 ten rolls) But you know you can’t just leave one of your faves behind(lol it feels like he’s personally testing my loyalty). I’m not gonna lie, when I saw gold, I thought for a second Klee came home but it was actually Jean! If not for Jean and her 10 masterless starglitter, I would have to roll so many times that I just don’t have. She’s also my first 5 star constellation! Fischl came home 3 times already(I think this means she likes me because I powered her up a lot and made her a slight dps so I can get through the mondstat talent book domain with her and noelle since I don’t have any pyro fully built yet) There’s also the fact that I’m not claiming any primogem rewards until I after I get Kaeya from the store so I can(replenish) save as many primos for Kazuha as possible.

Update: So far everything worked out. I got Kaeya’s constellation and now I can just save for Kazuha! Also, Fischl is my first c6! Sucrose came home a lot of times as well.
