kaz: black licorice (bitter and not for everyone but the people who love him LOVE him)

OKAY BUT PICTURE THIS!!!!

soc spin-off, right? We get through the whole ice court heist, we’re on our way back to ketterdam. In the book, now is when we get the “I will have you without armour, Kaz Brekker. Or I will not have you at all.” But we’ve already gotten that scene in the show. Inej is already off on her own journey, and she’s had to come back for the heist. But the point is she (and most likely Kaz as well) have gotten through more character development compared to the books.

Which means that THAT scene will have to be replaced with something BIGGER, a step further into their relationship. I can’t even begin to think what it could be like (no gloves??), but I know it will definitely have me screaming.

But do you know what that means as well? The scene of Van Eck noticing Inej as Kaz’s tell and kidnapping her (which happens right after this) will have ANOTHER whole new level of ANGST, and I’m not sure I can handle it.

I’m going to get my money, Kaz vowed. And I’m going to get my girl.

I’m screaming, I can’t wait.

was feeling kinda iffy at first about the s&b hallucination scene because i was screaming at my laptop screen that IT'S HARD FOR INEJ TOO!!! KAZ'S TRAUMA ISN'T THE ONLY TRAUMA TO GET IN THE WAY!!!!!! SHE ALSO HAS TOUCH AVERSION!!!!! but after sitting on it for a couple weeks i've realized that... yeah, that's the point. in the hallucination we see kaz disarm her, disarm himself, remove his gloves before ASKING FOR PERMISSION TO TOUCH HER, and inej just... stares at him, with fear and hope and confusion and Want and she wants to pull away so badly because she knows that this is wrong but what if it isn't and god she wants to be closer to him she wants to feel his hands on her body but it Hurts AND YOU CAN SEE ALL THAT IN HER EYES, IN HER WIDE EYES AND HER HESITATION AND HER LIPS ALMOST TOUCHING HIS BEFORE SHE PULLS AWAY, HURT BECAUSE SHE KNOWS IT ISNT REAL AND SHE KNOWS HOW HARD IT IS TO BE WITH HIM LIKE THIS AND I THINK THAT'S SO FUCKING. BEAUTIFUL AND FUCKED I NEED THESE TWO PEOPLE TO GO TO THERAPY SO FUCKING BADDDDDDD

Anyone else highly suspicious that any show that has lgbtq representation is suddenly getting cancelled on Netflix.

Or they're erasing lgbt representation in adaptations even though it's IN THE FUCKING BOOK. (Highly aimed about that new Dorian gray adaptation)

this part of the interview had been laughing so hard.

if it’s true that some of the s&b cast is being put forward for emmy consideration (not nominated yet but submitted for nomination) then i whole heartedly believe that the supporting actor award belongs to kit young. the layers that he brought to jesper this season honestly blew me away. the way his backstory was done, how he showed us jesper falling in love with wylan, and don’t get me started on the jesper + inej deleted scene. kit young owned the screen every time he was on it and he deserves to be an emmy award winning actor.
