I think it's messed up how rotom went from being this chaotic and mischievous ghost pokemon that possesses electronics to terrorize people to being some domesticated guy that lives in your pokedex and phone and tells you to take selfies.

there's something kinda symbolic about a life-draining entity possessing electronics though. I just wish they would get weird with it and make your rotom phone fly across the room or snap at your fingers or something, just a little ghost bastard behavior, as a treat

a neat idea that i've seen about is that having a ghost pokemon as a partner will have some odd affects on you, say for example giving you glowing eyes

another thing, this is not seen in Hisui as people are'nt really friendly with pokemon ghost types especially

and finally a widely vilified pokemon like zoroark meeting someone who is only wary of you not afraid, who also shows clear signs they were at some point the friend of a ghost type would prob endear that person to you a bit huh

And you don’t know what anyone looks like until you meet them!#The other thing in a similar vein was with dialga #I didn’t know what dialga was SUPPOSED to look like so when they’re all talking about how fucked up he is I was like damn #He DOES look pretty fucked up. Some kind of beast #And then after fixing time you see he looks THE SAME except with a palette change #Like oh. i see. #genuinely though that is my answer. play it.#outside of that the first two gens of pokemon mystery dungeon are great. i haven't played them in full but twewy/ghost trick are classics #ace attorney but you can play that far more accessibly on pc/mobile/every other device these days #i think everyone knows and loves tomodachi life #a weird pull? i genuinely enjoyed pokemon art academy.#i haven't played this one either but from what i've seen the fossil fighters series is a fun very niche pick #in general just go rooting through videos or lists of ds/3ds games you will definitely find something to love #there were just SO many strange and wonderful things being made in that era because of the portability and such

A honedge is created from either a ghost or a spirit. Once it evolves, the dark energy contained in a dusk stone allows doublade to transform into a unique form based on a combination of its physical body and the possessing ghost's/spirit's personality and preferences.

Aegislash formed from human ghosts are sapient. They may or may not have memories of being alive; what exactly makes an aegislash remember their life as a human is not known. They often paint their shield and decorate their tassels as a form of self-expression.

The aegislash's shield is part of its body, but its soul is housed in the sword. If the sword and shield are separated, the aegislash can sense where its shield is.
