i do think its kinda funny when i see someone in the year of our lord 2024 talk about vocal synth music like its all gone downhill since like 2010 because like dont get me wrong i love a good niconicodouga-ass 2008 ass vocaloid joint BUT also like. the past couple years have had the most fascinatingly creative and expressive uses of vocal synthesizers ive ever heard in my life DJFSKHJDFS dont write it all off just yet!!

Webby Vanderquack and Lena De Spell (Sabrewing) - Ducktales 2017

I drew this drawing and I will definitely post more drawings related to the Ducktales 2017 version, of course because of the current edition of the book called "The Art of Ducktales". There are things I don't like there, but overall the Ducktales reboot wasn't bad and to be honest I miss that series a bit.

I drew Webby Vanderquack and her best friend Lena De Spell (I know she changed her last name to Sabrewing, although I prefer it as De Spell, because like her aunt Magica and Lena use magic, but this time for good purposes) and in normal classic style, since I'm not a fan of the Ducktales 2017 style. Yes, their dynamic was really good especially in the first season and it's a bit of a shame that they didn't continue on especially at the end of the series in the finale. But I definitely think that they will remain best friends in spite of everything, or what one would say, maybe even adopted "sisters". It depends how for whom. There are also a lot of fans here who are fans of the lesbian couple named Weblena. Yes, they would make a great couple when they grew up together. My opinion aside, they are certainly what make the Ducktales reboot the best part. Plus the friendship with Violet was great too.

Unfortunately, when the Ducktales reboot is over, we won't be able to see the two of them, but they will remain in our hearts and try to be remembered. Who knows, maybe they'll end up in another series with a different theme. Of course, this drawing is my gift for a friend for @ducktales-and-ducks, who likes Weblena a lot and I'm sure she will like this. I hope the two of them show up after Ducktales as well. If not in the series, certainly with fans in various drawings and various fanfictions. I also hope you like this drawing.
