cutie alert cutie alert i designed annette a lil dress to wear to the ball :3 tbh i started this entire series specifically because i wanted to draw her in particular in smth poofy and pretty so. HERE SHE ISSSS at long last

so to get ready for the ball i imagine annette and mercedes went on a shopping trip together and dragged ingrid along bc. of course they did lol. and this dress was just like CALLING OUT to annette so hard like you cant even believe. BECAUSE LIKE ITS EXACTLY HER STYLE and it was probably expensive but like once she saw it she just knew she had to have it.

i think she matched the flowers on the dress to one of the flowers she saw in the greenhouse and that’s the one she has in her hair. when felix saw the finished look after everyone got ready in sylvain’s room he got all like 😳😳😳 you look good,,,, and so annette gve him a flower to wear in his hair to match her and so he did and it was super cute :3

i think annette is definitely used to balls since she grew up in fhirdiad and her father was so entrenched with the royal family. she loves the whole affair she loves dressing up and dancing and meeting people and it’s just a fun time. it’s bittersweet for her because this is the first ball she’s been to without being able to share a dance with her father (he didn’t attend, too busy wallowing in misery), but also her first one spent as a proper young lady instead of being at the “kids’ table” so to speak.

also im not sure where else to put this so i’ll just add it here: there’s no way that annette didn’t meet dimitri at LEAST once as a child. surely gilbert brought her along AT LEAST ONCE so she could see what her papa was up to all the time, ESPECIALLY SINCE SHE WAS AROUND THE PRINCE’S AGE. i just think the cutesy sibling dynamic that dimitri and annette couldve had is so so good and i wish they actually would’ve gotten to have it because both of them being only children and annette’s father just choosing to parent dimitri instead of his own daughter is so saddddddd agh fuck gilbert.

updated lineup, ONLY ONE LION LEFT!!!!! sadly it happens to be my least favorite one (and my least favorite character in the entire game) but i’ll try to keep the ingrid hate in that post to a minimum. wish me luck lmao

Gustave (Gilbert) is an unpopular character, I know. But, honestly... I don't care much... I don't have to like a character to enjoy how much he adds to the story and to the other (more loveable) characters' development. Which is why he has such an important role in my fic.

Going to declare myself as the singular Gilbert fan. Something about that old man enthralls me <3

One could say it’s because he’s an incredibly interesting character, of how guilt can twist a person and turn them to do awful things as a means to suppress their guilt, only to just get into an endless cycle of it.

He feels guilty for failing his kingdom, which he answers with leaving his family. He then feels guilty for that, but if he comes back he’ll feel guilty for his failure. It keeps building and building, until no matter what he does, the guilt still eats him alive.

I would say it’s because he’s very attractive. I will not budge on this have you seen the majesty that is his S support art. Gilbert fans unite!! (I am the only Gilbert fan)

how long did this take? 30 seconds! by what standards did i base my rankings? i don’t know! erwin showed up first and i just reflexively put him in S because i love a cunty old man. and that vibe just carried through the entire rest of the list. i don’t think this is based on parenting ability because rodrigue would absolutely be lower if it was. idk i think it’s just how much i like them lmao

guys i love three hopes so much. i love all these dads. well that’s a lie i don’t think i love them as like human beings. but i love that we got to learn abt them bc that informs why their children are like that and all that good stuff.

i wish we could’ve seen more of them tho like i wanna see marquis vestra and margrave edmund. ESPECIALLY MARGRAVE EDMUND they talk so much abt him i wanna see this mythical man.

but like the dads are so fun. i love sarcastic ass waldemar. i love beating up slimy ass gregoire. i love byleth and jeralt actually getting supports and bonding time. i love matthias being a WEIRDO. awesome stuff.
