The selfship mid transformation art series I’m working on is where my self insert and their significant other are transforming into their cure/villain form or in BakeSol’s case, both transforming into their cure forms.

The first one I did for the series is SouthPear where Shun Minami and Pear/Jess are in mid transformation, holding hands. The reason I drew this was an excuse to draw them holding hands. After drawing it, I wanted to draw more versions.

The next one that was scheduled to be drawn was ShutLuck but due to other drawing ideas I had in mind, it was never drawn. I still want to draw it.

The sketches that I have finished, but not going to show rn, for this series were NarcisTasty (Narcistoru doesn’t have a civilian disguise so I had to draw him doing his MotW summoning while Tasty is saying the transformation phrase) and BakeSol (originally going to have Yuni have Bakenyan’s silhouette behind her but didn’t draw it since I didn’t want to take longer)

ShutLuck’s version was going to be Shut holding Luck’s hand and her glove appears while she is holding the perfume. Shut was originally going to transform into his beast form but I changed my mind on it and decided to just keep him as normal.

More ideas I have in mind:

- GirinJess but my self insert is also part of Nightmare (she is a ladybug)

- SouthPass where they’re holding hands while saying switchover (both of their bodies are half their civilian and half their Labyrinth)

- BarLo where LoFi is surrounded by ribbons while Baritone is transforming into his monster form

- Create A Joke/ArtRascal where Creative is doing the usual transformation and Joker either is goop or is jumping into his suit (the one where he was fighting Beauty)

- KouSpell where they’re holding hands (Mirai and Riko style) and are wearing mid transformation outfits (Spell’s being similar to Magical and Miracle while Kouchou wears a light version of his original outfit)

I noticed that all of these ideas include hand holding and I fucking love that

My self insert is an adult (obviously) and she just draws for a hobby then she met Girinma then that’s when their whole world changed

This drawing is based on their first interaction where they accidentally bumped into each other when Girinma was returning to Nightmare after his first encounter and battle with Cure Dream and Jess was walking towards him without paying attention
