and, realistically, why wouldn't it be? he's one of, if not the main character, he owns the restaurant, he built the animatronics and simon, he's on the calls with the player each night.

...and yet. bonnie was the victim. bonnie was taken apart. bonnie was trapped in the code. bonnie, who is the sole antagonistic force that can actively kill you each night, is A Character! but all we ever talk about was "his mistake," "his fears," "his regrets."

no one ever talks about bonnie aside from as a tragic footnote in her father's biography. >

i personally think fearne has been too polite and pliant with what she's told to do. and how fearne thinks she must Follow Through everytime. might be bc of her childhood.

a hundred years and a change of little memory wipes here and there must be excused bc nana morri wants fearne to never get bored. for her own best interest. fearne escaping the manor to see other townships in feywild but then swore to imogen she had Never felt confined within the manor when imogen asked about the caged window in her bedroom. fearne said it was to protect her. for her own best interest.

imogen saying the shard was fearne's destiny. the hells saying it will make her powerful. of course fearne agreed, it was for her own best interest.

i don't care how it'll happen but i have been needing fearne to acknowledge how it can be hurtful to hear imogen say fearne should have taken the shard and that she was disappointed in fearne for running away from her powers........ just to then hear imogen confess after swordgate that laudna and her talked about giving in but imogen chose not to because she couldn't.

delicious angst primed for my pallette. i love imogen and fearne sm. i'm content with them just having a Conversation together. if they yell at each other too then that's a bonus for me <3

Persona 2 is the most successful in its execution of the boy and girlhater dynamic bc they are truly just hating to hate. And because they fundamentally respect and care for each other as friends at the end of the day which is demonstrated in the actual writing and story of the game instead of just being like “well they are friends just trust me”
