Github, Wow! 😍
Seriously, you got me. I don't have many code-based projects outside of my own personal stuff so I don't use Github like a true developer. I do tinker and bop around in it.
I'm an avid fan of Gitbooks, but I happen to stumble upon the project management feature in Github and now I'm obsessed.
I want to just check out all of the github stuff and play with it today. However, it is Thursday which means I am "working" and I should be focusing on that.... Well, I'll try lol.

What is the context for Mallum being grounded? Why is blood relevant?
Mallum got ambushed by Harlan's right hands a little bit ago, and they managed to draw blood while he was getting away.
Also for extra context in case you want it: Here's
Mallum's partners noticing he's off
Zerkev confronting Harlan about it/Zurven finding out
Benjin and Mallum having a fight because Mallum didn't tell them
Zurven comforting Mallum
Veylin comforting Benjin
They worked it out, but Ben told Mallum not to leave Ilioneus because the Otrame twins have an ability that lets them track people using blood (which is actually how they found Benjin as a kid! They used Harlan's blood. Less precise than tracking the person whose blood they actually have, but close enough to work if they put in some elbow grease)
So now Mallum's stuck at home while h

...Obsidian is free (unless you want extra stuff), and auto-saves frequently.
Here some guides (+1, 2). I configured and added plugins loosely following said guides for writers, and I love it! It also has tabs as it was a browser lol.
also seems this in browser page saves text: https://750words.com/
(there's also: Marktext, Manuskript -sorta a free Scrivener but I heard about bugs-, Ghostwriter, Novelwriter, StimuWrite 2... Stuff like Typora, Bibisco, Zen, and Gingko are not free)
i write all my fics in wordcounter.net so i'm always one accidental cookies deletion away from disaster like i just had the jumpscare of my LIFE

Pet goals that might be stretch goals but I really wanna do them:
- Get all of my characters on Toyhouse, in the select code, with portraits* (*meaning just. Non-chibi colored drawing of their face. Doesnt have to be polished doesnt have to be my art)
- Make a page somewhere (toyhouse or gitbook) for factions, locations, groups of interest, etc (-> and sub-pages for more detail/characters involved?)
- Make a page/profiles for npcs
- Write bios. For everyone. This is so ambitious but hey, people write books. It's gotta be possible.
- Possibly change my TH select code? I really love what I have but trying to add sub-tabs to separate castes into sections (like clowns and non-clowns in purple) has been causing PROBLEMS and I don't want to keep letting the tabs get longer and longer as I add more guys
- make a wiki-style gitbook where i explain my blog's big arcs (the ones with chase) and mini-arcs (like the mallum tummy punch saga) and sort the drabbles in a way that makes more narrative sense
- go back and tag flashback arc content. I do not want to do this one i just love when things are Accessible
