gladion's mostly based on shou and a little bit of teru. shou for plot and teru for flavor. just replace teru's goofy pose with gladion's goofy pose...and replace all his colorful outfits with edgy black ones...

lillie isn't based on anyone. im not that happy with how i didn't redesign her at all except to get rid of the pokeball design on her bag... her hair and outfit are too complex for mob psycho. maybe a single braid and a simpler dress would've worked better

lusamine->tochiro... so fitting huh. she serves at least 5x as much cunt as him even with this redesign to bring her outfit more down to earth to fit the mp100 world

red & guzma split up serizawa's role. guzma has the gratefulness towards lusamine and red gets the part that retreats from society for 15 years

guzma is based on koyama (buff scar guy) and plumreia's based slightly on tsuchiya (buff scar lady)

team skull actually slots really nicely with the claw plot, including reforming after they get their asses kicked LMAO

kukui and the trial captains are 100% the awakening lab characters

a 'proper' mp100 au would have mob->red, tochiro->giovanni, and teru->blue. shou->silver and ritsu->ethan with a vibe flip

Aged Up Gladion x Non-Binary Reader

Prompt - Sharing a bed

You stumbled out of your room.

You yawned and stretched as you made your way to get a drink. You were awoken by the thirst and decided to get some water instead of ignoring it. It took you a while to find where the water was, you were on a boat.

Reason you were on a boat, you wanted to help Gladion find his father. When Gladion said he was leaving with his family to find his father you expressed your interest to help him. You had traveled with Gladion when he was completing your Island Challenges.

So you wanted to travel with him during this challenge. Gladion said that he would ask his mother and she said yes. Lillie also loved the idea. You were beyond joyed. So that’s how you got here. Stumbling through the boat you were all using to look for their father.

The dim lights that scattered the ship made it harder to find where you could get water. You all had only been on this ship for a few days. You used to be on a train and that was worse than the ship.

Once you finally found where the water was you took some and some so you could keep it in your room. Your Pokémon was right by your side, having followed you out of your room and through the ship.

You kneeled down and held the water bottle in front of their face. Asking them if they want some. When your Pokémon did nothing you stood back up and drank the rest of the water.

You threw the bottle of water away and started your way back to your room. But you noticed something. You noticed a door to the deck being open. You remember all of them being closed so this confused you.

So you decided to look.

You walked towards the open door and walked outside. It was about midnight. The moon was in the dead middle of the sky and stars were all over the sky.

You missed the night sky in Alola but the night sky here was still beautiful. Wherever you were. You were immediately hit with a cold breeze. You shivered and wrapped your arms around your chest.

You wanted to go back inside but what you noticed made you walk. You noticed Gladion leaning against the railing. Looking at the forest that bordered the dock. Umbreon was laying next to him and your Pokémon walked towards Umbreon and laid next to them.

Umbreon did nothing and if Gladion noticed he didn’t do anything either. Gladion was in his pajamas, and by that you mean he also had his jacket on.

You scold yourself for not getting a jacket before leaving. You walked next to Gladion and leaned on the railing next to him. You saw Gladion glance at you before looking back on the horizon. Gladion said nothing, so neither did you.

You wondered why Gladion was out here. Could he not sleep? Did he have a nightmare? You looked over at Gladion. You noticed the moon lit his face in a light glow.

His face was brimmed with a shimmering glow while his hair shined like the moon itself. You felt your face get red so you looked away. “Why are you out here?” You asked.

Concerned about Gladion and your fingers.

“Could ask you the same thing”, Gladion said and you smiled. Gladion could be funny when he wanted too. “Well I was getting some water when I saw you out here”, you looked back at Gladion, “Now why are you here?”

Gladion looked at you two. You tried to keep the blush on your face down when you saw his eyes. “Couldn’t sleep”, Gladion looked away. You knew that Gladion had a bit of a hard time talking about his emotions so you didn’t ask any more questions.

You just stood outside with Gladion, keeping him company. After a few minutes you could see Gladion slumping and you couldn’t feel your fingers. You pushed yourself off the railing and turned to Gladion.

“Why don’t we go inside? I’m starting to lose feeling in my fingers”, you held up your hand. Gladion looked at you and nodded. You and Gladion went inside and your Pokémon followed you.

When Gladion went to his room you stopped.

You should go back to your room but you wanted to make sure that Gladion fell asleep. When you were traveling with Gladion in Alola he had a problem with sleeping and staying asleep. Gladion rarely got enough sleep.

Gladion needed sleep if he wanted to find his father. You were also worried about him. If Gladion didn’t get through sleep on this journey, who could tell what could happen. You cared about Gladion, a lot. So you followed Gladion into his room.

When you entered you saw that Gladion was sitting on the edge of his bed. Umbreon was curled up at the end of the bed. You closed the door, something Gladion didn’t do. The sound drew Gladion’s gaze from the floor to you.

Gladion’s eyebrows furrowed and he asked you what you were doing. You yawned again and walked over to the opposite side of Gladion’s bed. The side that Gladion was not sitting on.

“Making sure you get some sleep”, you said. You laid down on the bed. Your head hit one of the pillows and you closed your eyes. It wasn’t the most comfortable laying on your back, but you wanted to give Gladion space to lay down.

Your Pokémon went to cuddle with Umbreon and promptly fell asleep. Gladion watched you. You didn’t do or say anything after you laid down. You just kept your eyes closed and breathing steady.

Gladion knew that you weren’t going anywhere. So he laid down next to you. Gladion was tense as he laid down. You looked over at him. You could tell that Gladion had a lot on his mind and that whatever he was thinking about kept him up.

Over the months you’ve traveled with Gladion, you’d say you’ve gotten really close to him. Gladion talked to you about stuff that others were lucky to hear.

You hoped that in the morning Gladion would talk to you about what was bothering him. But for now you knew that Gladion just needed to sleep. So you moved closer to Gladion and pulled him into your chest. Gladion blushed and tensed up again but he said nothing.

You loved that Gladion trusted you enough to do this. Maybe in the future he’d trust you more. Enough for you to love him. But for now, you just held him close and closed your eyes.

Gladion did the same. Finally relaxed enough to let sleep take him over. Gladion relaxed in your arms so he closed his eyes and pressed his face in your chest.

With a blush on his face.

Steven:  [For how awkward the young man is, he can't help but smile at how “personal” it could be. Playful sarcasm] You know how I love my secrecy. What is it?

Gladion:  As we've been talking about our companies’ history and hopefully future endeavors, it’s… it’s hard to ignore why the partnership ended in the first place.

Steven:  [Nod, nod taking a drink, and?]

Gladion:  Did you ever get closure about your mother? 

Steven:  ….. [Swallows, but quirks an eyebrow at him] That's a bit of an odd question.

Gladion:  I know, I just… [Shakes head] This past year has been crazy between my mother and me, but at least I still have her. And even if I was only a child at the time, you were too. Did anyone ever talk to you about what happened?

Steven:  …. [Looks to the water glass in hand then holds up a hand.] Hold that thought. [Gets up and goes over to the desk where he opens a hidden compartment in the wall with several types of bottles] I don't do this very often, but this sounds like a conversation that requires it. Would you like some? 

Gladion:  ….By all means. [Not sure if he’s more surprised by the hidden liquor stash or that Steven isn't shying away from the subject at all. Motions that he'll take….whatever the guy’s got.] Thank you. I'll take that as a no?

Steven:  They gave my father the news, but he never told me much at the time. I knew she went to stay with Aether while learning about their research and just… never came back. I knew she was dead, I wasn't that sheltered, but… [Shakes head] no. No one ever told me personally. [Takes a sip as he goes on more somber] But I knew it had been terrible. My world was completely turned upside-down by my father's grief, but that pales in comparison to what happened to you. [Holds up hand as he can see Gladion’s alarm] As a business, we do still need to do our research before taking up a partnership. And of course, you only officially took over as President recently, it begs to question what happened to the last one. I just… [rolls the glass between his hands as he watches the deep reddish brown liquid slosh a little. Somberly] My father didn’t just cut ties with Aether. We closed ourselves off for a while with the claim that Devon had just suffered a series of unfortunate events and would be working on a company reconstruction before continuing operations. I wish we hadn’t though. I know we likely wouldn’t have been able to say or do anything at the time, but I can’t help but wonder if we had continued watching from the outside, we might have helped your mother sooner. I have heard rumors over the years about the horrors to occur after President Aether was killed in the attack. [And somewhat surprised to see Gladion’s is empty already as well. Leans forward to pour his guest another, larger, shot. He's not sure if Gladion just really liked it or was gathering up some “liquid courage” for whatever he intended to say. Tops off his own while he’s at it] Although, if you’re planning to bring me comfort and details, I wouldn't think you'd know much about it. Weren't you, like, ten at the time? Surely they didn’t have you watching when everything exploded.

Gladion:  [Bit of both actually, but sets the glass down a little shakily] I was eight, actually. I'm sorry it really is an odd subject to drop on you like this. I'm sure you've also heard about the growing crisis in Alola, the Psychotic Breakdowns and Mental Shutdowns… [Steven nods] My associates and I are more than certain now there's an Ultra Beast behind it. The interdimensional creatures once referred to as Demons. And that alone has had me thinking about that day a lot lately. I just wanted to ask where you stood on the matter because I… I really need to talk to someone who’d understand…

Steven:  [Blinks at him in surprise as he's not sure how to feel about the thought of the Demons being back in any way, shape, or form. But given Aether's history, even more so under Lusamine… tries to give his guest a smile.] I’m not sure if I’d be much help, but I like to think I’m easy to talk to. [Clears throat] At least, I would hope I am, but I realize I still haven’t answered your original question. I… [Honestly takes a moment to think about his feelings when it comes to his mother] I suppose I have found some closure on the whole affair. Even if I didn’t find out the full extent of what happened to her, my father and I had a bit of an incident ourselves several years ago, which finally allowed us to talk about it. My mother’s not exactly a sensitive subject, if that’s what you’re worried about. You lost your father during all of that too, didn’t you?

Gladion:  …. [A soft smile creeps out as he debates how to answer that. It sounds crazy, like… REALLY crazy, but you know what, he’s not sure why but he feels like he can trust the guy. Takes the whole shot] I’m not sure, actually. I found him again, I think.

Steven:  … [Looks at glass, looks at his own, debating if he should give the young man any more. Eyeing him in slight concern and confusion] I don’t find that very funny. 

Gladion:  I wish I was joking. [Looking down as he’s worried he may have offended him after all. Instead, he finds himself admiring the shape of the empty glass, kind of neat how everything blurs through the thickness of it] I’ve heard that Hoenn is very serious when it comes to ghosts and lingering spirits and whatnot. ….But honest to goodness, I think we’re being… haunted by that day. In every sense of the word. What would you do if the whole… Phantom Thieves thing- [points at him somewhat with the glass then sets it aside. Yeah, he’s gonna stop] I know you’ve heard of it, we heard about it less than a day after getting off the plane. What if I were to tell you there’s some real ghost or… otherworldly play having a hand in all that? 

Steven:  [Amused. This was a bad idea actually, he almost wonders if the guy’s ever had a drink in his life before this, but ah well, too late now] I mean no offense, but you think your father is a literal phantom thief?

Gladion:  I think he might be leading them. Or did. Leadership is kind of weird lately. [Deeeeeep sigh and tries to straighten up in his seat] This secret CANNOT leave the room but, I need to talk to someone because this whole thing is driving me insane.

A/N: This is less to do with the actual crossover as just bits of world building. Plot wise this scene comes up while several members of the gang are on vacation, but instead of going to Hawaii (because they're already from Alola) they end up going to Japan. And since half the group would be high schoolers (although school is odd in Pokeverse so none of them are actually in school at this time), the other half of the team are varying degrees of "responsible" adult. As such, instead of a school trip, they're on a business trip with Gladion even if once they get there, they all split off to take care of other business in Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh. (And we get a bonus dungeon completely unrelated to the game, so even if the kids are about to discover hell via Difficulty Spike, I'm just having fun.)

Yo, this sounds so much cooler than just the basic boss rush we actually got, a full-on conflict involving a wider area of Alola, Skull vs. Rocket, plus RR Giovanni (who apparently wasn't the true Giovanni) successfully taking down the player, and Blue and Red joining the fight too! And the original Giovanni apparently wanted to make Silver proud and fix that burned bridge with him.

One of my biggest complaints with RR was the cool concept, but the utter waste of potential it was that the bosses just hang out in their rooms and we hardly get any proper interactions between them, that they're just confined to the Aether Paradise. Ultra was always one of those games where it felt like it needed more time to cook than it actually got imo--it released literally less than a year after SM came out--, and I wish GF got the time to be more ambitious like how this sounded.
