you kiss down his stomach, basking in the way he exhales your name from underneath you. he whined, already knowing what your cruel intentions were. his hands fly to your hair to try and pull you away from him.
“no, no––” he rushes out, frantic and panting.  “i won’t be able to last if you do that.”
it’s cute how panicked he sounds, like the mere thought of him not lasting for you makes him want to cry. god, he was so pretty.
you wrapped your hands around him, feeling yourself becoming desperate to feel him on your tongue. “shh, just let me taste you.”
you’re practically drooling, this man driving you insane with his little whimpers and heavy breathing. he’s begged you to do unspeakable things to him but as he lays here, his body perched up on forearms so he could watch you easier, he looks so innocent.
“but––”
“i want you in my mouth, glenn.” you pout up at him. “so be good and let me taste you.”
you hush him letting your lips wrap around his tip. moaning immediately at the taste of him, he whines at the vibration and at the feeling of your warm mouth on him. you were so good to him always.
“please––” he huffs, reaching for you just to feel your flesh on his fingertips. part of him feels embarrassed since he is naked while you are almost fully clothed. he has never been so thankful to be able to feel the skin of your shoulders.
you slide your mouth further down his length, getting rewarded by the long string of moans he lets out at the feeling. despite your growing desire to close your eyes and relax into the feeling of him in your mouth, he looked so good underneath you. you couldn’t take your eyes off of him.
you begin to bob your head, listening to his soft please that only spur you on. even the sound of his voice turned you on. you are so, so fucked.
you looked up at him, his chest heaving and eyes squinted. you sent him a look that he easily recognized as, “you can take it, know you can.”
“fuck, i’m gonna cum.”
you go faster, making him choke on whatever he was gonna say next.
you release him only to hear the disappointed moan he let out. “go ahead, make a mess for me.”
“but i wanna last,” despite his words, his hips buck into your hand. “i wanna make it good for you.”
“wanna be good?” he nods frantically at your question. “then do what you’re told, come for me.”

the last thing i need — three

Tumblr media
Glenn's absence weighed heavier on your shoulders than you'd anticipated. Occasionally, you'd look behind you and expect to find him there, eyes on you, only to find no one there. Every time you turned to look ended with a shake of your head and turning back to whatever was in front of you.
Perhaps the feeling was as outwardly obvious as it was strong, as Jacqui looked at you with pity in her warm brown eyes, inviting you to sit with the women.
They had taken a break from laundry to sit and chat, but you thought that picking up where they left off would keep your mind off of Glenn.
It didn't work very well.
You blamed one of Glenn's shirts that came up with stains that would never come out. Nevertheless, you tried, taking your time and being extra gentle with the piece of clothing. Even while he was away, Glenn got special treatment from you — and you hated it.
The mission the men departed on should've been calling your name. It did at first, at least for a little while, enticing you with an opportunity to escape the camp you found yourself on.
The desire to go vanished once Glenn revealed he would be going, too.
The brief conversation you had with Glenn weighed on your chest, a feeling too thick to swallow stuck in your throat.
You acted hastily then, overcome with an emotion you didn’t want to admit. Now it was just you and your thoughts, trying to come up with an alternate, much more reasonable explanation.
You told yourself you didn't try to join in on the mission because it'd be harder to separate from the group in the city filled with walkers. There was space to move here, space to slip off quietly if you were more careful than last time.
It wasn't because of the was your lips pulsed after meeting Glenn's cheek. It wasn't because of the way your heart pounded at the thought of him back in the city you barely escaped.
Solitude was familiar. Although it was never true, not with all the walkers you encountered, it was all you'd known for a while. You tried to keep up with it even now at this camp bustling with life, isolating yourself from the women just a few feet away — but the company was tempting.
And stubborn.
Andrea turned to wave you over, patting a spot near her. The rest of the women followed her lead with warm smiles that shone on the darkest parts of you, filling you with an unwilling joy.
You abandoned Glenn's shirt and accepted the invitation, although you were quiet for the most part — save for the little laughs the girls pulled out of you.
The five of you watched as the water glistened in the sunlight, exchanging stories and laughter as they confessed what they missed most about the old word.
"Speaking of things we miss... what's up with you and Glenn?" Andrea inquired with a grin and a bump to your shoulder. The rest of the women were silent but you could tell the question was on their mind, too — they just weren't as straightforward or bold to ask it.
"What?" You asked, feeling a little embarrassed at the question. There was really no reason to, but you couldn't help but feel like the tiptoeing around your own emotions was useless if suspicion of anything between you and Glenn was this high. "No, there's nothing up with us," you shook your head.
"Really? Cause I could've sworn you went into his tent the first night you got here—" Andrea spoke, earning a few gasps and small laughs from the other women.
Oh. She meant that.
Now you were really embarrassed.
You didn't have time to form an answer as a man approached — Carol's husband. His expression was humorless as he pressed for details of your conversation, pushing your group closer and closer to discomfort and defense — namely, Andrea.
You didn't blame her for it. You didn't blame her for calling out Ed's laziness and his abuse towards Carol, the news making your eyes widen and your body move in front of Carol defensively. Your hands weren't enough to stop Ed in the commotion, not as you saw how tightly he was gripping on to Carol.
No, Ed didn't stop until he was beat to a pulp by Shane.
You could hear your heart pound and feel the anxious sweat on your palms as you and the rest of the women did your best to comfort Carol, trying to focus on helping her rather than the violence you'd just witnessed.
Ed deserved it, undoubtedly, but it did not make you any less weary of Shane. Something about the man was off-putting. Something about him made you uneasy but you couldn't figure out what. No one else seemed to pick up on anything strange, so you kept quiet and kept your distance.
But one look at Ed's face told you that maybe you'd have to look out for the living more than the dead.
-
A stupid part of you waited anxiously for Glenn's return, knowing his presence would ease you even if he was unaware of your caution. It was awful, this feeling — one you'd felt before, but never quite this intense. This feeling would make you stupid if you let it — part of the reason you'd wanted to abandon ship at first hint of it.
There was no time for things like romance anymore, no matter how badly you craved it. It was about survival now.
And yet, you couldn't help but remember how you felt when Glenn's hands were on you, his lips on your neck —
You shook your head. This was no time for that.
Night was beginning to creep up and Glenn still had not returned. That feeling in your throat almost made it impossible to breathe.
The night was eerie despite the soft chatter of voices and crickets, the light of a fire illuminating faces with golden warmth. You took a plate of food and sat off by yourself, taking the opportunity to gather your thoughts. All the plans you'd previously had were in shambles. No next move you thought of felt right. Your fingers tapped on your knee nervously, teeth chewing up your lip in thought.
Maybe, if you hadn’t been alone for so long, you wouldn’t have picked up on the low groans from behind you.
You stood and pulled your knife in one swift motion, plunging the blade into the walker’s head, feeling the blood splatter on you. Another walker replaced the fallen one immediately, a small hoard in pursuit, pushing you towards the others.
The others.
“Walkers!” You called, distancing yourself from the pack just enough to turn around.
But you and your familiarity with being alone were not used to fighting with others. It had been too long since you have had to fight for anyone. Your warning was too late and there was nothing you could do but watch as a walker bit Amy.
Self-preservation is what you know, your attention snapping back to the problem ahead of you just in time. You know these movements better than anything - push them back, stab the knife into their heads, just enough to hit the brain - but the walkers don't stop coming.
All you are aware of are the screams behind you, begging for your attention as your heart lurches with the urge to help families trying to find each other in the chaos that has suddenly taken over camp.
You try to focus, try to convince yourself that helping yourself is helping them, that each walker down is one less walker able to bite and infect.
Gunshots ring out from behind you, next to you, all around you as walkers take over.
“Get to the R.V! Go!” Someone shouts over the sound of the bullets.
The crowd was at least thinning out now. Your arm was tiring from the repetitive movements, but you didn’t dare stop.
Not until there was only one walker left in front of you.
Even in the dim light of the camp, you can recognize her. Your heart feels heavy in your chest and guilt clogs your throat.
What was left of your sister dragged her body towards you, mouth ready to bite.
-
Your arm fell limp by your side. Your breath caught in your throat. A bullet hit your sister (no, not your sister) and someone screamed. Maybe it was you.
You dropped with her, stationed on your knees as you watched your sister reach for you.
Most of her was missing and the last time you saw her flashed in your mind. She’d yelled at you not to look back at her but you couldn’t help it; Now you were left with the image of her caught in the mouths of walkers, all desperate for a bite.
She’d sacrificed herself for you to continue on. To live.
And here she was now, because you couldn’t bring yourself to shoot her back then.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered.
Your face was wet. Was it blood, sweat, or tears?
-
Glenn was sure he’d hit a walker with his bullet, but your scream made him doubt himself as he ran. Rick, T-Dog, and Daryl cleared the rest of the hoard, but Glenn’s only worry now was you.
His footsteps slowed as he spotted you, cradling a body that hadn’t been alive in a while. Though the body had stopped moving now - Glenn noticed the knife you plunged into the back of its head.
Glenn called your name softly, kneeling on the ground to join you. His hand came to your shoulder and he could see the tears drip off your face and make silent splatters on the zombie in your arms.
“We can bury her,” Glenn said quietly. “We do that for the ones we love.”
You nodded and your face found Glenn’s chest, your arms letting go of your sister, cold and dead, and clinging on to the warm body next to you. Alive.
You couldn’t be more grateful.
-
The aftermath was chaos. The bodies, littered everywhere, were unnerving. The children cried and Andrea sat over her sister’s corpse all night.
You knew exactly how she felt. You made sure she knew it, too. She didn’t speak a word as you cleaned as much blood from Amy’s body as you could. Her gaze never left her sister as you cleaned her own hands.
“There,” you said. You looked back at the rest of the group watching you, some desperate to put a bullet in Amy’s brain. “You take all the time you need. Don’t let them take that from you.”
You expected the lack of response as you stood, unwavering as you stared Daryl down, watching as he shook his head and went off to keep dragging the bodies.
-
You didn’t speak when you heard footsteps follow you to the edge of the woods. You knew who it was, and what he was doing. You wished you could hate him for it.
“Let me help,” Glenn offered from behind you as you looked at your sister’s body. It laid exactly as you’d left it before, but the daylight revealed the horrific state she died in.
You accepted Glenn’s help wordlessly, taking her shoulders while he grabbed her feet.
“Had to fight Dixon to bury our people. I mean, he just wanted to burn them!” Glenn shook his head, eyes glancing up to yours.
He was too good. That was it. That was what you hated so much.
“You didn’t have to do that.”
“No, no, I did. For her. For Amy, too. And everyone else back there. We still have to have some humanity, right? Or else we’re just surviving, not... not living.”
Glenn’s words rang in your mind as the two of you carried the body through the thick Georgia heat, sweat dripping down every part of you.
Living. Not just surviving.
Your sister’s last words. Her last wish. For you to live.
You looked back up at Glenn as the two of you dropped your sister in the “Bury” pile, watching as he adjusted his cap and wiped some sweat off his brow.
Live. Not just survive.
Maybe Glenn could help you figure out what that meant.
-
Soft chatter surrounded you as you sat off to the side, knees pulled up to your chest. You sat away from the group, as you always did, keeping an eye on the people and another on the woods.
There was talk of going to the CDC. You weren't sure how well that was going to work out if the CDC looked like the rest of the world.
But there was something in the group as they spoke to each other, even after everything that had happened today. There was hope, small sparks of it glowing like the embers of a fire.
Maybe you'd let yourself have some of it, too.
"Hey," a voice spoke, pulling up a chair next to you.
"Hey." You glanced up at Glenn, watching him run a hand through his hair, his cap in his hand.
The sun glistened off his skin, making his hair shine as he turned his head to look at you. There was a trace of a smile but an even bigger hint of a question on his lips.
You knew what the question would be. But you still weren't quite sure of your answer.
"What happened in Atlanta?" You ask, hoping to buy yourself time and realizing that everything that had happened after Glenn's returned had prevented you from asking about it sooner.
"Atlanta." Glenn repeats, the place seeming so foreign to him now. "Well, we got the guns." He laughs, sounding too forced, eyes wandering over the faces that remain. You're quiet, feeling the guilt you share heavy in the air.
"But we ran into some guys."
Your eyebrows raise at this - you don't know strangers nowadays to be particularly friendly. Glenn was rare.
"And you just handed over guns?" You didn't mean to sound accusing, but you were trying to paint out what had happened.
"Well... kind of? I mean, we worked out a deal."
"What deal?"
Glenn hesitates, trying to work the story without having to mention the more embarrassing details.
"They were taking care of a whole bunch of elderly people. They were just... abandoned."
You seem to relax at this, at least slightly. "They could've just shot you and taken everything." You're only half-serious but Glenn doesn't quite catch that.
"They really wanted to. Especially Daryl, he had-"
Glenn cuts himself off but he's already piqued your curiosity as you lean forward in your seat, urging Glenn to continue.
"Well, it was a little bit of a situation," Glenn starts exasperatedly. "They had taken one of us, we took one of theirs... It just- It happened really fast!"
"They kidnapped you?"
How bad of a liar is he? Glenn stutters but his lack of a coherent response is enough to fill in the blanks for you.
Your chest hurts strangely, your fingers messing nervously with the hard surface of your nails. You've begun to avoid looking at Glenn just as he glances at you, a heavy silence that a part of you is desperate to fill, nervous it will make Glenn stand and place his chair elsewhere.
You had been saved from answering questions from others about Glenn earlier but nothing was able to halt the constant thoughts you had about him. You're not sure how much longer you can keep running from it - you're not sure how much good it'll do.
"So, the CDC?" You asked, hoping Glenn's answer would help guide you towards one of your own.
"Rick thinks it's our best shot."
"And you trust him?" There was no mockery or accusation in your voice — only genuine curiosity.
Glenn looked down at his cap, nodding a little. "Yeah. Yeah, I think I do."
"You just met him," you noted quietly, knowing very well Glenn had met both you and Rick on the same day.
"You don't need to know someone for years to know you can trust them."
You looked up to see Glenn staring at you. Clearly, he wasn't just talking about Rick.
"That type of thinking could get you killed," you say quietly.
"Or it could save my life."
Live.
Your knee bounced anxiously as you thought about it. About what going with these people would mean.
It'd mean companions, for starters. No more nights fighting to stay awake, watching your own back. It'd mean splitting supplies. It'd mean strength in numbers.
You looked at Glenn again.
It could lead to something else, too.
"I'll go with you. To the CDC," you start softly, watching from the corner of your eye as Glenn's head snapped toward you, clearly in disbelief. "It sounds promising."
You barely knew Rick. You barely knew any of these people. But Glenn trusted Rick and you trusted Glenn. That's the only thing you were sure of now.
Glenn looked at you with a boyish, handsome grin and the corners of your lips raised to mirror his.
Your hand reached for Glenn's, interlacing your fingers with his. Your hands found his over and over — throughout the night, in the morning, as you packed into Dale's R.V. and towards the CDC. As you left Jim behind. As you almost died outside of the fortified building. As you finally made it inside.
The building was large and seemed safe enough — there was no way Dr. Jenner could have made it this far if it wasn't. But it wasn't until a large table full of food and drinks was set, laughter chiming in your ears, did you finally begin to relax.
A smile spread on your own face as Carl tries wine for this first time, his face morphing into one of disgust as the rest of you laughed. This mood, light and playful, was one you haven't experienced in who knows how long. There's a thick feeling of appreciation in your throat, hot and heavy in your chest. You're almost emotional, thinking of every sacrifice it took for you to be here, today, laughing and talking over dinner again.
But Shane, always solemn, can't seem to stand the uncharacteristic liveliness that has found the group tonight.
"So, when are you going to tell us what the hell happened here, doc?" The laughter is killed instantly, an uncomfortable silence falling on the once chattering table.
'We're celebrating, Shane," Rick starts, the tension between the former best friends particularly prominent. "Don't need to do this now."
Eyes flicker between the two with an occasional flicker to the doctor in the room, but downward gazes and quiet sips of wine offered neutrality from most.
"Woah, wait a second. This is why we're here, right? This was your move... Supposed to find all the answers. Instead, we found one man. Why?"
"Well, when things got bad, a lot of people just left. Went off to be with their families. And when things got worse, when the military cordon got overrun, the rest bolted."
"Every last one?" Shane asks dryly, suspiciously.
"No, many couldn't face walking out the door. They... opted out. There was a rash of suicides." Most shuffle uncomfortably, looking at anywhere but at Jenner. "That was a bad time."
"You didn't leave," Andrea notes, one of the only ones still invested in learning about Jenner. "Why?"
"I just kept working. Hoping... to do some good."
It's a good answer for most, no matter the somber tone. It's enough for you; you just hope that Shane's poking and prodding won't push the man that has seen too much too far. The last thing you want is to be kicked out now.
"Dude, you are such a buzzkill, man." Shane avoids Glenn's stare and you cross your arms, decisively done for the night.
Jenner gives you a small tour of the facility, mainly of the rooms you'll be occupying. A piece of you wonders what else there is, but the majority of you aches for a peaceful night.
Jenner has disappeared into a different room and the group has stopped in the middle of the hallway.
"Hot water?" Glenn glances to the rest of the group before his gaze lands on you, standing behind him.
"That's what the man said," T-Dog grins.
Glenn's smile is contagious, creeping up slowly despite you missing what Jenner said. But if Glenn is excited about it, it's got to be worth it.
The hot water on your skin completely is.
You try to savor each drop of water, relishing in the steam curling off the water. You can't remember the last time you had the luxury of hot water but you resign, letting everything roll off of you along with the water.
You scrub at your skin, mindlessly and too roughly, thinking about everything that has happened in the last few days. Everything about the last few months.
Your sister was dead. The guilt in your throat wasn't any easier to swallow.
Something had happened between Rick and Glenn on their trip back to Atlanta. Glenn stuck out his neck for Rick on that very first day that your paths had all crossed, so Rick risked his own for Glenn. At least there was someone else in the group that would do that for him.
Atlanta. Nothing in that overriden city could've prepared you for the overwhelming company you now found yourself traveling with. There was no ounce of you that imagined you might find someone to love again.
You shut the water off once you're sure you've scrubbed every crevice of yourself, your skin rubbed raw in a few places.
The towels you've been given are rough, thin, and terrible shields against the cold air that blasts through the facility but you don't mind. Nothing matters other than the feeling of the fresh clothes Jenner has managed to scrounge up, missing all the dirt and blood that's stained your clothes for months.
A part of you, as you settle into the first empty room you see, wonders how long it'll be until the clothes you're wearing now will be bloodstained again.
You've taken to cleaning off your knife, in the spirit of the fresh scent of soap sticking to your skin and the pristine condition of the garments on your body. You're careful not to stain anything with the shades of red and brown of your knife, barely lifting your head when you hear someone enter the room you've claimed.
"Sorry, didn't think anyone was in here..."
Glenn trails off when he spots your smile, your hand waving him over to the spot next to you. He takes it, body tense as he tries to keep his eyes off of you.
Glenn thought you were perfect before, but without the layer of grime on you, all he wants to do is stare.
Glenn thinks he's being sneaky until your eyes meet his, Glenn's already flushed face reddening even more.
He's too terrified to make a move, still wondering where it is he stands with you. You're not lovers as far as he's aware, though it's a losing battle on his side. Glenn thinks he'd do anything to get inside your head and see for himself what it was you thought about him. He wanted you to like him, desperately, his body aching for contact with yours. He wanted to kiss you until he memorized you and every one of your smiles.
But he'd take whatever it is you wanted to give him. He'd hold your hand whenever you reached for it, on your own terms, right up until you pulled away.
The sudden arrival of man-eating freaks had forced Glenn, for the most part, to mature; to learn how to fight, to look out for others in ways his shitty job as a delivery boy had not yet taught him. From one day to the next, he had outgrown the red uniform that always seemed to smell of food no matter how many times it was washed. Though no one cared to ask about the person Glenn was Before, he liked to think he was the same Glenn who had, with his own will, made it through high school and to college, on his own.
But, in some ways, Glenn still felt immature. All that time he had spent working and studying had left him with little free time for personal indulgences. He had never prioritized romance and now that it was here, in front of him, he found himself on his ass more often than on his feet.
The door opens again and Glenn’s head whips towards it like he’s been caught doing something he shouldn’t, his flushed face not doing him any favors. But it’s just Shane, so Glenn’s shoulders relax, eyes glancing over the man and landing on the bottle of bourbon in his hand.
Shane spares a sideways glance, eyes stuck on you as he takes a swig from the nearly empty bottle. Glenn’s eyes follow Shane’s and eventually fall on you, too; notably, the knife in your lap, practically shining from how much you’d been wiping it.
"You're a real whiz with that knife.” Shane props himself against the doorframe, probably to keep from stumbling. There’s a sudden smile on his face, too wide to put you at ease. “Good thing I stopped ya from leaving that first night, huh?"
Shane grins through his words as he takes another swig, eyes still stuck on you as Glenn stands. He’s turned towards you, eyes searching for any indication that Shane is just drunk, or out of his mind; but you’re stuck, eyebrows drawn and lips set in a straight line as you stare at Shane right back.
Glenn steps into Shane’s line of sight, effectively breaking the wordless confrontation. Shane’s eyes move to him now, trying to slip past Shane wordlessly. Shane shifts, blocking Glenn’s way. But before he can speak, Glenn has shoved his way into the hallway.
"I'm just looking out for you, man!" Shane calls behind him before his lips find the top of the bottle again.
You’re in front of Shane before you can help it, eyes trying to follow Glenn. But just as he did before, Shane has turned toward you, his large build blocking any easy ways out.
"Why didn't you just kill me that night, then? I know you wanted to."
"That's not true.” There’s a grin on Shane’s face that tells you he’s lying.
"Yeah."
The look of amusement on Shane’s face drops. He has learned from last time and fights back when you try to push past him. One of his hands keeps you pinned to the doorframe, pressing painfully on your shoulder.
“You’re just another mouth to feed,” Shane drawls, his breath reeking of alcohol. “You don’t deserve a guy like Glenn.”
There was more to it, you were sure. Glenn had told you that Shane was their leader and wasn’t fond of newcomers. Especially when one wanted his wife and kid back.
You could tell Shane felt challenged by Rick despite their history. Maybe Shane thought of you as a wildcard, neither loyal to him nor Rick. But if you would stick with Glenn, who would clearly follow Rick anywhere, weren’t you a threat?
You pushed Shane’s arm forcefully, the alcohol in his bottle swishing as he stumbles.
“You should’ve killed me,” you say, smiling suddenly. “You’re not getting another chance.”
Glenn moves down the hallway briskly, his feet taking him further and further away from you. There’s that feeling in your chest again, the same one you felt with Glenn back at the camp you had abandoned. It was fear, but it wasn’t the familiar kind that you’d spent months fighting along with the walkers. This one was thicker, heavier, putting a pressure on your chest that made it difficult to breathe. Unfortunately, you had come to care about Glenn Rhee.
And as Glenn walks away, he feels as though he has, once again, found himself on his ass.

it hadn't really clicked how you felt about glenn until the well situation, how he was dangling above a walker like... bait.
how your heart got caught in your throat as you watched and heaved the rope back with the others, how the tears stung in your eyes.
how you couldn't even look him or the others after the incident. separated from the group, your tent next to daryls.
glenn of course tried to talk to you multiple times, but you brushed him off. making yourself busy in the process, going on food and medical supplies.
teaching carl how to hunt and maggie how to kill the walkers.
the moment played on your mind every waking minute.
you had been with the group since the beginning, you were actually with glenn when you had found some of the others.
andrea not taking a liking to you immediately but her sister amy did.
the both of you had gotten closer since her death.
it came back around that somebody had to go further out for supplies this time. of course he volunteered. you refused.
"you can't keep letting him put himself in danger all the time, its not fair! just because he's what 'faster'?" pushing yourself onto your feet off of the couch.
"y/n it's fine really i—" he interupted but that didn't stop you from continuing.
"it's not, this is total and utter bullshit. he's been putting his life at risk since he got he and i bet he's done it before you arrived."
they all agreed for a different plan, a safer one for the boy.
the meeting was dismissed and you made your way out of the house with your head hung low. trying not to make eye contact with anyone.
grabbing a woven basket and started your chores.
slightly moving each chicken so you could grab the eggs, standing up straighter as footsteps were heard behind you.
rolling your eyes when you came face to face with glenn.
"okay seriously dude what is your problem?" still ignoring him but listened to him talk.
"first you are ignoring me, now you're sticking up for me?"
you just walked around him, stopping when he lightly grasps your arms holding you closer to his chest, face to face.
tears welling up in your eyes as you looked into his.
"i shouldn't be feeling this way. i barely even know you! it's so stupid." your words came out wobbly as you shake your head.
glenn listened whilst he wiped away the fallen tears from your cheeks.
"i-i just can't see you get hurt, you are always the one to jump to put your life in danger and no one ever second guesses it. it's not fair damnit."
"if i knew any better you'd think you've got a littl crush on me." a blush spread across your cheeks as his shoulder playfully knocks into your own.
looking at your dirty boots knock together in response.
"w-wait really?" no you're lying!"
gathering everything you had in and placed your lips against his, feeling as he almost instantly shuts up and melts in the kiss.
"woah..."

Survival and Serendipity
Glenn Rhee x reader
Tumblr media
In the desolate world overrun by the undead, where trust was as scarce as hope, Glenn Rhee found himself facing a challenge he hadn't expected: getting to know you and your 6-year-old child, Mia. His heart, once solely focused on survival, now fluttered with uncertainty and a longing for something more meaningful.
It all began one day when you stumbled upon the group of survivors that Glenn called family. In the midst of your weary travels, there was a glimmer of hope that led you to their camp. As Glenn watched you approach, holding Mia's hand tightly, his heart skipped a beat. You were cautious, guarded, and rightfully so. In this world, trust was a fragile commodity, and Glenn respected that.
He approached you with a warm smile, though he knew the smile could never truly match the warmth he felt inside. "Hey there," he said softly, crouching down to meet Mia's curious gaze. "What's your name?"
Mia's eyes, big and innocent, studied Glenn for a moment before she mumbled, "Mia." She clung to your side, her tiny fingers clutching your shirt.
Glenn nodded, understanding her apprehension. "Well, Mia, I'm Glenn. And this is your mom, right?" He glanced up at you, offering a reassuring smile.
You nodded, a mixture of gratitude and skepticism in your eyes. But there was something in the way Glenn spoke, something in the kindness that radiated from him, that made you want to believe that maybe, just maybe, there was still goodness in the world.
As days turned into weeks, Glenn took small steps to win both your and Mia's trust. He'd often sit with you by the campfire, sharing stories of his own childhood, his dreams, and the world before it all fell apart. Mia would listen, her eyes wide with wonder as she started to view him not just as a stranger, but as a friend.
One sunny afternoon, Glenn brought out a deck of playing cards he'd found in an abandoned gas station. He knelt before Mia, his eyes twinkling. "Hey, wanna learn a card game?" he asked, offering her a playful wink.
Mia's face lit up with excitement as she nodded vigorously. Glenn patiently taught her the game, his fingers showing her the tricks of the trade. It was in these moments that a bond began to form, a connection built on trust, patience, and the simple joy of being together.
Through countless encounters, Mia began to see Glenn as a surrogate uncle, someone she could turn to for comfort and laughter amidst the harsh reality of their world. And as for you, you couldn't help but admire the way Glenn had taken a genuine interest in your child's well-being.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, you found Glenn and Mia sitting together on a log, sharing a quiet conversation and laughing. It was a sight that warmed your heart and filled you with a hope you thought had long disappeared. Glenn Rhee had become more than just a fellow survivor; he had become a part of your family.
As the days turned into months, Glenn's bond with both you and Mia deepened. His protective instincts grew stronger, and he couldn't help but smile at the sight of Mia clinging to his side, her tiny hand in his as they navigated this treacherous world together.
One evening, under the starry sky, you found yourselves sitting around the campfire. The flickering flames danced in the darkness, casting a warm and intimate glow. Glenn's voice was soft as he recounted tales from his past, stories that spoke of a time when life was simpler, filled with laughter and love.
You couldn't deny the warmth that Glenn's presence brought into your life. He had a way of making you feel safe, cherished, and understood in a way that no one else had in years. It was as if the world had conspired to bring you together in this bleak reality.
One night, after Mia had drifted off to sleep in her makeshift bedroll, you and Glenn found yourselves alone by the campfire. The silence between you was comfortable, a testament to the deep connection that had grown between you.
Glenn turned to you, his eyes filled with a mixture of vulnerability and longing. "You know," he began, his voice barely above a whisper, "I never thought I'd find anything worth holding onto in this world. But then you and Mia came into my life, and everything changed."
Your heart skipped a beat as you met his gaze, the intensity of his words leaving you breathless. "Glenn," you whispered back, your voice trembling, "I feel the same way. You've brought hope back into our lives."
In that moment, the world around you seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of you illuminated by the campfire's gentle glow. Glenn reached for your hand, his touch sending a shiver down your spine. Slowly, he leaned in, and your lips met in a tender, heartfelt kiss—a kiss that spoke of the love and connection that had blossomed between you.
From that moment on, your relationship with Glenn deepened into a love that was both fierce and tender. You faced the dangers of the world side by side, finding strength in each other's arms. Mia, too, began to see Glenn not just as a friend but as a father figure, and her trust in him only solidified your love for him.
In this harsh and unforgiving world, you and Glenn had found something rare and precious—a love that had grown from the ashes of despair, a love that would endure the trials of the apocalypse. Together, you forged a family, bound not by blood but by the unbreakable bonds of love, trust, and survival.

scars - Glenn Rhee x dixon!reader
summary: short little fic cause i’m missing my glenn, while cuddling together in the prison glenn notices a scar, asking about it reveals a big story.
Trigger warning: talk of drugs or alcohol, daryl and readers abusive dad! domestic violence!
a/n- this is gonna be a true story of my life basically lmao, i fractured my skull last year so can portray it properly.
my requests are open for twd character’s!
hope you enjoy! i miss glenn so much <3
**
waking up to the feeling of glenn’s fingers tracing gentle shape on your arm was something you’d never get tired of, humming you cuddled closer to him burying your face further into his chest. a part of you wished you could stay like this forever. in the safety of his arms, the comfort just being in his presence gave you.
fluttering your eyes open, you noticed it was still dark. no sunlight shining through the window. your first thought was that glenn had just gotten back from keeping watch remembering he wasn’t there when you’d fallen asleep. the warmth radiating from his body dulling the small shiver from your cold limbs.
“you just get back?” you hummed lifting your head from his chest and pressing a few soft kisses against his jaw, smiling into your touch he nodded.
“i got back a while ago i just wanted to let you sleep” shifting so you could lean on your elbow to look down at him you smiled, the admiration in his eyes intense as you leaned into him pressing a gentle kiss to his lips.
“you need to get some sleep glenn, we’ve got to go on another supply run tomorrow.” you huffed gently pulling away from the kiss and making yourself comfortable with your head on his bare chest once again.
“i know.. i just like to make the most out of these moments, they’re important to me.” you knew what he meant by that, loss wasn’t something the two of you were new too. it surrounded your group, it felt as if loss almost followed you around everywhere you went.
he wasn’t wrong, any moment where it was just you and him meant a lot to you. you just couldn’t ever bring yourself to admit you might lose him in this world.
“i know baby, i know” you sighed as the love of your life played with your thick dark hair, his fingers gently untangled your hair as he pressed a kiss to your forehead.
relaxing his head back against the pillow his fingers made their way to your scalp, gently running his fingers down your scalp. the affection instantly calming you in your sleepy state.
you felt his hand stop as he traced a line on your scalp, completely forgetting what was hidden by your hair and what scar laid beneath.
“what’s that? there’s a lump” the panicked tone of his voice instantly reminding you of what you’d so easily forgotten about in the mix of the new world.
“oh there’s a scar there right?” his fingers carefully tracing down the scar on the back of your head, wondering how he’d never noticed it before. you’d spoken to him about your father briefly, but you didn’t want to tell him about your brothers receiving most of the abuse, especially daryl doing anything in his power to protect you. you couldn’t bring yourself to go into detail.
but you and glenn had been together a while now, you trusted him, you trusted him with your life. and so did daryl. it wasn’t hard to figure out that your dad was abusive, one look at your brothers and you could tell something wasn’t right. or at least that’s what people used to tell you.
“its not just a scar though y/n it’s like-“ you sighed cutting him off.
“i fractured my skull and had a brain bleed before all this started. You can feel where my skull fused back together” you could feel the worry now radiating from glenn, something so serious and you’d never told him about it before.
“how did it happen?” he asked, his fingers coming to a stop as he shifted gently moving your body so he could hold eye contact with you.
you knew it was coming, the day you’d have this conversation with glenn, you weren’t sure if glenn had seen the scars that littered your brothers back. if he had, he hadn’t mentioned it to you. he knew your dad wasn’t a good man, but he didn’t know the extent of your childhood and what daryl had tried his best to save you from, taking beatings for you. taking a deep breath you explained;
“I had an argument with my dad, i told you he wasn’t a good man…” the look on his face softened, taking your hand in his and pressing a kiss to the back of it. he was prepared to listen to whatever you were about to trust him with.
“ it was about what he was doing to daryl… it was a shit day.. i remember it so well. it was while merle was gone, daryl had been missing for weeks and our dad didn’t even notice… when daryl showed up again all hell broke loose. i tried to help him. but i couldn’t do anything to stop what was happening-“ glenn listened intently squeezing your hand gently, reassuring you that you were safe and just with him.
“i remember daryl shouting, telling me to leave and he could handle it. he didn’t want anything to happen to me.. so i left, i left him.” your voice breaking at the end of your sentence, the memory of your brother protecting you always making your heart ache for him.
“we don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to baby, you don’t have to tell me anything if you’re not ready” the look on his face one of admiration, he loved you with everything in him. glenn’s heart ached hearing the story, but he wanted to know. he wanted to be there for you. he wanted to protect you, he wished he could’ve.
“i’m ready glenn. i love you, i trust you. i want to tell you..” he nodded pressing a gently kiss to your lips before waiting for you to continue.
“i left him, went on a walk to smoke weed, i stole it from merles room. i remember i sat down started smoking and i was fine. i sat there for a while. but when i got up to walk home, it’s a feeling i can’t even describe, i just felt like shit. i knew something wasn’t right. my heart was racing i couldn’t breathe everything was blurry.” glenn now having sat up, you sat up facing him as he pulled you into his body. the warmth from his bare chest instantly calming you.
“then next thing i remember is waking up in hospital with daryl next to me shouting at a doctor. id passed out and smacked my head on the ground. daryl came out looking for me a few hours later and he found me, on the side of the road i wasn’t waking up, i had liquid coming from my ears and had cut the back of my head open.” glenn sighed seeing the tears pooling in your eyes as he tried to keep his own at bay. pulling you closer to him if even possible.
“i’m sorry that happened to you.” he whispered holding you close his hand running down your back as he tried comforting you. you buried you face into his neck as you straddled his lap, his arms going to your waist as he gently pressed a few kisses to your shoulder.
“i love you y/n” he whispered one of his hands coming to your face to move a stray strand of hair behind your ear before cupping your cheek.
“i love you too glenn” he smiled shaking his head as he gently stroked your cheek with the pad of his thumb.
“no y/n i want you to hear me. i love you. i love you so much. i’m sorry i wasn’t there then, but i’m here now. i’m not going to let anything happen to you.” he admired you, his loving eyes scanning your features as another tear gently ran down your cheek, he quickly wiped it away with a soft smile, his eyes full of love as he pressed a kiss to your forehead. this was one of those moments, the moments you wish time would just slow down so you could stay like this, stay with him forever.

DAY TWENTY: Sleigh Ride w/ Pre-Apocalypse Glenn Rhee
a/n: Me sticking to a promise? Wowzah. This one was super cute, and we all need some season one Glenn in our lives.
masterlist | ficmas masterlist | AO3
TAGLIST: @alina02 @louderfortheback @minervadashwood
Tumblr media
You loved going on dates with Glenn, every one of them was an adventure, the next one always more unique than the last. Like this one, where you had decided that it would be a good idea to go to the mall, despite it being the month of December. Another thing about Glenn was that he had a childish spirit, one that indulged in childhood fantasies, just like this one. There had been a decorative sleigh smack dap in the middle of the mall, and you knew as soon as Glenn had set his eyes on it, he was about to do something that might get the both of you banned.
“Glenn, no.” You said, already reading his mind as he stared mischievously at the dark red decoration. “Why not?” He asked, turning his head to look at you. “Because I don’t want to get banned from here or some shit like that, I still need a place to go Christmas shopping, you know.” He just rolled his eyes before grabbing your hand. “You could give my mom a bag full of trash and she would be grateful, and c’mon, just one picture and then we can go do whatever you want.” You sighed, already knowing you would give into his pleading gaze as you muttered out, “One picture, then that’s it.” He took off as you dug your phone out of your pocket, holding it up as he grabbed onto the reigns connected to the plastic reindeer. You couldn’t lie and say that this wouldn’t make a perfect picture to show his family, or even better, to make your lock screen.
The look of pure joy was unmistakable as you snapped pictures, the grown man shuffling around in different poses so you could get all his angles.
Maybe you were going to get kicked out, but who cares? It’s Christmas.

a/n: an anon requested a glenn x reader x maggie fluff, and i decided to make it into this little oneshot :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
glenn knew immediately you and maggie were suffering from the excruciating side effects of menstruation, just by the way you reacted to little things. he knew this from experience; the first time he noticed something like this happening was back at the farm, where he confronted dale and asked him if all the women were on their periods. thankfully dale talked some sense into him, warning him to never ever ask a woman if she was on her period -- as a man. because that would end in a slap to the face or worse. glenn wasn't one to make people upset like that, especially his girlfriend or his best friend.
"fucking hell. was not excited for this shit again," you groan, clutching your lower back in pain.
maggie sighs, she's standing in your cell searching for pads or tampons. "shit! we're out."
you sit up slowly, wincing from the stabbing pain in your uterus. "we're out of what? pads? tampons? diva cups?"
maggie turns to you. "everything, honey. gonna have to make a run."
"no you won't, i prepared for this." glenn was standing at the entrance, one hand holding up a small duffel bag and the other holding a bottle of ibuprofen.
you jump in surprise, not expecting him to be at your beck and call that damn quickly, but goddamn was he a lifesaver right now.
maggie runs up to him and hugs him, making him drop the bag abruptly to embrace her. you smile and chuckle, getting up to grab the bag and unzip it.
"holy fuck, glenn! where did you find all this?!" inside were dozens of unopened feminine hygiene products. "i mean, this is the jackpot of all jackpots!"
maggie bends down to search in the bag as well. it was quite an amusing sight to glenn, seeing his two favorite women's eyes light up at the sight of menstruation products. it was like you were children opening a birthday present.
"well, you know me. this is the stuff i do," he gushes. you turn to him and stand up, walking over to him to embrace him in a hug. "oh, oh, you're crushing my ribs!"
maggie and you giggle, and she ruffles his hair. "always taking care of us. might as well be one of the girls, right?" you tease after pulling away from the hug.
glenn blushes while you snatch the painkillers from his hand, opening the bottle and taking out two pills. you hand the bottle to maggie, who does the same. "sure. i mean, whatever prevents me from staying out of your line of fire when someone pisses you off."
"you could never make us mad, baby," maggie reassures.
after swallowing the pills with a sip of water you nod and look back between maggie and glenn. "daryl could!"
and you all bust out laughing.

daryl hadn’t known you for long, no more then a few weeks at most but in the short time he had known you, he felt as though he’d known you for years. thanks to not only his brother’s judgements but also his own, he believed you to be some entitled snob that would never looked twice in his direction. his jaw had just about hit the ground when he had discovered you had both grown up in the same neighbourhood, even went to the same community school before him and merle had moved away.
he could never describe the way he felt around you. daryl had always understood he was never smart, not in the ways that mattered or not in the ways that would impress you but he was sure - so goddamn sure - that were was a word or two to describe the way he’d felt about you in the short time he had come to know you. the word daryl was searching for - but would never find - was basorexia.
sitting on a countertop behind a rounded table, watching the others cheer and pour drinks brought a sense of familiarity to you. it reminded you of a simpler time. you focused on lori and rick as they playfully bickered on weather or not their son should try some of the red wine dale was serving, but daryl - who sat beside you, nursing a bottle of beer- was entirely focused on you. the way you looked under the white led lighting of the cdc bunker and the way you giggled as carl pushed away the small cup of wine he had just tried. everything you did was perfect in his eyes, absolutely everything.
“you gonna share that bottle dixon?” you queried, gently nudging into his shoulder as you flashed him cheeky grin.
daryl let out a breathy chuckle, not saying a word before handing you the brown bottle, watching you intently as you brought the bottle up to your lips.
“you should stick to soda pop kid.” shane mumbled as daryl stood up to walk around the table, in hopes to secure another bottle as the current one had almost run out.
“not you glenn.” daryl smiled - that was one of the first times you had seen him genuinely smile - leaning in to grab another bottle before teasing, “keep drinkin’ little man, i wanna see how red your face can get.”
“it seems to me we haven't thanked our host properly.” rick spoke, standing up to look at the man who had reluctantly let us in an hour or so prior.
“he is more than just our host.” t-dog smiled, raising his glass of red wine.
“booyah!” daryl cheered, raising a bottle of spirits into the air before sitting back down beside you, offering you a sip of the new liquor.
you placed the empty bottle of beer beside you before taking the bottle what you assumed was whiskey and cheering, “booyah!” before taking a swig.
“so when are you gonna tell us what the hell happened here, doc?” shane asked, breaking the cheers and thanks coming from around the room, and almost instantly everyone fell quiet. “all the ah the other doctors that were supposed to be figuring out what happened, where are they?” he asked, looking at the lone scientist.
“we're celebrating, shane.” rick answered quickly, sitting back down beside his son. “don't need to do this now.” he added.
“whoa, wait a second. this is why we're here, right?” shane asked rhetorically, looking at rick before continuing. “this was your move, supposed to find all the answers but instead we uh we found him.” shane explained, his very tome and expression seeming on edge and untrusting. “found one man. why?”
“well, when things got bad, a lot of people just left. went off to be with their families and when things got worse, when the military got overrun, the rest bolted.” the scientist explained, the entire mood shifting.
“every last one?” shane asked sarcastically.
“no, many couldn't face walking out the door. they... opted out. there was a rash of suicides. that was a bad time.” the scientist continued, his voice shaky as he explained the fate of the cdc.
“you didn't leave. why?” andrea asked, placing her half empty glass of wine onto the crowded table.
“i just kept working. hoping to do some good.” he explained.
“dude, you are such a buzzkill, man.” glenn groaned, looking at shane as he slumped back into his chair.
later that night, after every had begun settling in for the night you found yourself lying awake in a sleeping bag a meter or so away from glenn. your hair was still damp from the warm shower you had no more then an hour prior. you pulled yourself up from the sleeping bag, wrapping your arms around your chest before wandering out into the hallway to find all but one light left on. daryls room. the door had been left open, allowing you to lean up against the doorframe as you watched daryl pull a clean shirt over his head and shoulders before noticing the brown bottle by the head of his sleeping bag.
“still hoggin’ the bottle huh dixon?” you giggled, causing daryl to spin around as the rest of his shirt fell down his torso.
he weakly scoffed as his eyes traced up and down your body, most of your legs exposed from the shorts you had found in some drawers while a baggy shirt hid most of your figure.
“d’yer reckon we could find the rest of ‘is stash?” you asked eagerly, looking up at daryl as a breathy chuckle fell from his lips.
“nah, yer cut off woman.” he chortled, as you walked further into his room “yer already drunk as i am.” daryl added.
your eyebrows almost immediately pinched together as you dramatically scoffed, “that shower sobered me up real good.” you teased, bending down to grab the bottle before taking a sip of the room temperature liquor. “‘n what would be so wrong with that?” you asked, folding your arms across your chest.
“nothin’!” he defended, his hands weakly rising into the air before dropping back by his side. “s’just you look like you can’t handle your booze is all.” daryl teased.
you dropped down onto the near by couch as you slurred, “i can handle my liquor jus’ fine.”
closely you watched daryl as he plopped down beside you, taking the brown bottle from your hand before taking another swig.
“women can never handle their liquor.” he mumbled, a weak laugh escaping his lips, making you frown.
“dixon.” you mumbled, looking across to his eyes as they remained focused on the bottle in front of him. “that sounds like a challenge.” you smirked causing the man to look up with a devilish grin plastered on his lips.
he extended his arm, offering the bottle to you. you took the bottle from daryl causing a soft giggle to leave your lips as you brought the rim of the bottle up to your mouth. taking another swig of the brown liquor - burning your throat - you rested the bottle in your lap.
“yer gonna be wasted.” he noted, trying to hide the grin sneaking onto his lips.
“you’ve never even seen me drink,” i scoffed, “for all you know i could’ve been a drunk before all of this rubbish.” i added, handing the bottle back to daryl as he shuffled a little closer.
“‘cept i do, yer told me ‘bout an hour ago that you barely had your first drink before the world went to shi-.” daryl teased, his words cut off as your hand covered his mouth, quietly shushing him.
“i told you that in confidence, and i said first legal drink.” you pouted as daryl’s hand lifted up to connect with yours that was still covering the majority of his mouth.
you could feel daryls breath on the palm of your hand as he let out a small chuckle but as his hands slowly began to peel yours away from his mouth, his lips began to purse, leaving a soft kiss on your skin. you watched him as his lips continued further down your wrist, his hand loosening before finally letting go to reattach at the base of your neck, pulling you closer to him as you lips met. quicker then you could have ever imagined the kiss grew heated and passionate as you found yourselves pulling each other closer. in an act of desperation you pulled yourself onto his lap, resting your knees on either sides of his hips as you sat down on his lap, but it still didn’t feel close enough.
when you had suddenly pulled your lips away from daryls, leaving him confused and afraid that he had overstepped, but as your hands cradled his cheeks and a smile began to creep onto your lips he was left in a state of confusion.
“been waitin’ for yer to do this for a while.” you grinned, your eyes wandering around daryls face, admiring every little detail thanks to the close proximity.
“thought you were only doin’ this cause you’d been drinkin’.” he answered glumly, his hands still loosely hovering over your hips.
you shrugged weakly, a smirk creeping onto your lips as you whispered, “needed some liquid courage.” before your lips connected to his prickled jawline.
“scared of me huh?” he asked, his grip tightening around your waist as your delicate kisses began to tickle his skin.
“m’not scared of you.” you mumbled into the crook of his neck, slowly beginning to work your way back to his lips.
but just as you went to reconnect your lips, daryl slightly pulled away, his eyebrows pinched together as he whispered, “ya think i’d say no to yer?”
you stayed silent, shyly nodding. heavy breaths filled the room as a weak muffled scoff left daryls lips. you let out a little chuckle at your own foolish mind for getting in the way of an action you had been wanting to pursue for some time now.
“didn’t think i was your type.” you commented, combing a piece of hair out of your face before your hand reattached to the base of daryl’s neck.
“didn’t think i was ya type either.” he breathlessly chuckled, his hands remaining firmly gripped onto your waist.
a soft giggle left your lips as your lips momentarily connected with daryls before pulling away to whisper, “your one hundred percent my type.” you smiled, your very words making daryl scoff in disbelief before your lips reconnected with his.
daryl was in heaven on earth. he had never imagined this happening and now with you on his lap, your mouth slowly beginning to part from his lips as you trailed down his chin and jaw, your entire body now beginning to slide down. his chest rose and fell heavily as you rested on your knees, your hands now beginning to fiddle with his belt buckle.
“ya- yer don’ have ta-“ a groan slipped from daryls lips as you began to peel away his jeans, the very action sending him into a euphoric state and with you on your knees before him, something much more lustful and libidinous began to grow.
the following morning daryl woke up to you wrapped around his body, the sleeping bag - intended for one person use - was sprawled out over your two bodies, providing some warmth. your arms were wrapped around his torso, and your legs were intertwined with his. daryl looked down at you, admiring your soft delicate feature as you peacefully slept for the first time in months.
daryl thought you were so deep in sleep that nothing could possibly wake you, so when a strand of your hair fell across your face, tickling your nose and lips, daryls hand rose from his side. as he began to brush away your hair, your eyes began to flutter open, causing daryl to freeze as he trucked the strand of hair behind your ear.
“morning.” you grumbled, your arms pulling away from the warmth of daryls body to stretch.
“mornin’.” he hummed, following your actions of sitting up right, the pair of you sitting shoulder to shoulder. “yer hungover?” daryl teased, beginning to rub his face before combing his hair out of his face.
“shut up.”

✧.➷ sex w glenn.
original request here !
Tumblr media
“my poor girl.” he watches as you settle your knees on either side of his body, your hand reaching down to position his length at your entrance. you can’t help but moan at the stretch, you want nothing more than to shut your eyes and marvel at the feeling of him but you force them open so you can watch him fall apart for you. “look at you all pent up.”
“fuck, glenn.” you place your hands on his chest to steady yourself. you set a fixed rhythm, bouncing desperately against him. he places his hands on your hips to assist you.
you smack your hips into his, eyes rolling at how deep he was inside you. you rode him until your thighs began to ache and your stomach began to burn.
“i just wanna make you feel good.” he can’t stop the sewage of incoherent sentences that tumble from his mouth. he’s barely aware of what he’s saying but his words give you enough motivation to fight your growing exhaustion and keep going.
“there you go, use me to make yourself cum.” he can’t help but stare at the spot where your two bodies meet. he can’t help but buck his hips into yours causing you to almost topple over.
“shit––baby, i’m sorry.” he blinks up at you and god, he looks so pretty. “you just feel so good around me.”
you clench around him, feeling the way his breath quickens underneath your palms.
“bet you were thinking about this all day.” he mumbles, words as gentle as his hands.
a whimper escapes your lips before you nod. “all day.”
“yeah? me too, just wanted to be buried inside you.” you legs begin to tremble at his words, he always knew just what to say to get you going.
“are you going to cum for me?” you nod again, unable to speak. “go ahead, make a mess for me.”

not anymore pt2
Tumblr media
summary: y/n tries growing in her grief at hilltop.
pairing: carl grimes x female reader
a/n: ya’llllllll thank you so much for loving the first part!!! i’d actually written pt1 a year ago and never rlly planned to ever make a pt2 but ask and you shall receive lolol, hope you like!!
*read part 1 here*
*************************
“todays the day rick n carl should be gettin here,” maggie said, sending a spoon with tomato soup into her mouth, “you ready to see him?”
i released a shaky breath, playing with my own bowl of food as my starved appetite vanished. i stared at the red, swirling liquid. “i don’t know.”
“a month wasn’t enough time apart?” she asked, eyeing me cautiously.
i hadn’t wanted to repeat myself, but i had no other answer. “i- i don’t know.”
it hadnt seemed like a month apart. i would’ve sworn it had been yesterday i walked out of alexandria alone, two duffel bags in my hand and a gun, ready to fend off anything or anyone that crossed my path.
but it had been a month, the longest we’d ever been apart. and i missed him more than anything.
it still didn’t shake my hesitancy, my worry that the moment we spend time alone we’ll go back to disagreements and fighting and perhaps, i’d never go back to alexandria again. and that’ll be the end of us. till one of dies and the other is forced to reconcile the fact that we’d never made up.
it scared me to see him. to see death again.
“well,” maggie swallowed again, her short hair bristling in the chilly air from the open window, “i think when you see him, that’s when you’ll really know.”
i nodded slowly, my eyes still trained on my soup.
she stood up out of the chair, “i need to find greg, talk to him ‘bout a few things.” she eyed me again, noticing my static, unmoving position. “you’ll be alright while i’m gone?”
i looked up at her then, not wanting her to worry, “i’ll be fine, mags.”
she gave me a small, reassuring smile and a kiss on the crown of my head before she went off, and i was left in my thoughts.
luckily, maggie’s trailer provided a lot of privacy, and knowing the tenants at hilltop, i wouldn’t be disturbed.
i stared off to a chip in the paint, thinking.
——
“i can come with you.”
“carl-“
“why can’t i just take you to hilltop and leave?”
“because, carl, don’t-“
“it’s dangerous, y/n, and reckless-“
“carl-“
“and stupid-“
“would you stop interrupting me!”
he went quiet then, his burly arms crossed over his flannel chest, eye staring daggers into my figure.
we stood by the door to our house, two duffel bags leaning against the wall i so desperately wanted to pick up and run out.
i knew despite him saying he wouldn’t stop me going, it wouldn’t eliminate the imminent last ditch effort fight from occurring.
“you told me you’d let me go.” i said slowly, as if reprimanding a child, “don’t go back on your word.”
he rolled his eyes, “god forbid i don’t want you out there by yourself! have my dad take you for fucks sake just don’t-“ he pinched the bridge of his nose, inhaling stressfully, “don’t go by yourself.”
“i can take care of myself, carl.” i spat, feeling anger surge through me at his distrust in me. “i’ve survived this long.”
“you never know what can happen out there.” he threw his hands up, “or here! yesterday, that dick’s gun was to your head in this fucking room!”
i felt his rage, i voiced his yells. it made my head spiral that i were still trapped in alexandria, suffocating in this broken reflection of my relationship that could barely withstand some independence.
but, bringing myself to reality, i also knew his fear, knew the dread at the unknown. knew the loss he was experiencing even while i was still standing in front of him, alive and breathing.
i shuddered out a breath, walking over to him to put my hands sturdily on his shoulders.
i looked up at him, watching his anger dissipate when we locked eyes.
“i know you’re scared for me,” i said softly, talking quickly before he’d have a chance, “but i need you to trust me.”
“y/n-“
“no,” i put my finger to his soft lips, “let me finish.”
i brought my hand down, his eye watching my finger fall from his flesh.
“i’ll send a letter the second i get to hilltop, so you know i’m safe,” i swallowed, “i’ll have my gun loaded and extra ammo, anything i could scavenge up from the armory.”
his eyebrow relaxed, listening to me talk.
“this is what we’re made for now,” i shook him a bit and sent him a weary smile to ease his tension, “we’re made to do these things on our own.”
he exhaled shakily, nodding to fool himself into thinking he’d allow this, that he’d watch me walk away from him into trees of undead and alive.
i leaned up to his face, our noses brushing every so slightly. my heart boomed in my chest, beating so hard i swore he could hear it himself. maybe it was both of our hearts, desperate to intertwine again.
“do you trust me?” i whispered softly, so our lips grazed.
i heard him swallow, and the breath from his nose fan my face.
“yeah,”
i pulled back at that, knowing if we kissed, for the first time since…, i knew i’d lose the battle to my heart and stay.
i grabbed the two duffel bags and locked my palm around the doorknob.
looking over my shoulder, i sent a reassuring smile, “i’ll see you when we’re okay.”
he didn’t respond, and while it sent a jolt to my gut of disappointment and guilt, i turned back and opened the door.
“y/n,” i heard him say, just as i left.
i barely looked over my shoulder.
“i love you.”
i bit my lip, finally, tears stinging the corners of my eyes.
“i love you, too.”
and the door shut.
——
crossing the lines to hilltop and realizing who i’d be seeing almost sent me running the other direction.
fear of maggie’s state of being gave me a headache as i drew closer to the entrance, and once i was close enough in view, could see her faint outline on a lookout post illuminated by the bright sun behind her.
i knew she saw me when i heard a voice scream my name.
she disappeared from the post and soon the large, wooden doors opened. i ran the rest of the way, dropping my bags and falling tiredly into her expectant arms.
as much as i told myself i’d stay strong for her, the smell of her hair and the memories of that night came sweeping back and i sobbed, wet and noisily, into her chest that shook with her own cries.
i didn’t realize we’d fallen to the floor till i felt my exposed knees sting from skimming the rough dirt.
“what-“ she sniffled, a sob breaking through her, “what are you doing here?”
i took a shaky breath in, trying to compose myself, “i came to see you.”
she frowned, burying her face back into my shoulder.
we cried a few more moments, let ourselves drown in glenn’s absence, in front of all the onlookers who just watched silently.
i pulled back, dread creeping into my stomach when i looked at maggie’s
“the-“ i swallowed, “the baby-“
“fine,” she answered quickly, stroking tears off my cheeks and sending me a faint smile, “just fine.”
i breathed a sigh of relief, nodding at the scarce good news before standing and helping her up, too.
she looked healthier than the last time i saw her, fatter in her face and her arms. her stomach barely bulged as a reminder a part of glenn resided there.
behind her i saw sasha standing, her arms folded. even from far away, i could tell she just looked even worse, instead of better.
i sent her my best sympathetic smile, receiving one back but knowing deep down, it was just another lie to comfort me.
i looked to maggie, gripping her forearms, “take me to him.”
seeing glenn’s grave, surprisingly, comforted me more than disturbed me. to know we had him, safe under dirt and bugs, but still, safe. better than laying out in the gravel, for prying, evil eyes to view him.
he was returned back to us in less than one piece, but his soul was whole with us.
i held maggie’s hand as we looked down, a few flowers resting over the raised patch of dirt.
i swallowed harshly, “what would he think now?”
“of what?” she asked softly, our eyes never wavering from the ground.
“of carl and i. of what’s been destroyed.”
i felt her squeeze my hand, “you and carl aren’t destroyed.”
i shook my head, feeling tears blur my vision and my nose sting.
she continued, “you’re right for the time apart, to grieve separately if that’s what you need.”
“is it enough?” i asked brokenly, finally looking at her.
she gestured our intertwined hands to glenn’s grave.
“ask him.”
and so i did.
i spoke to glenn’s grave everyday. sometimes scattered stories of our memories, from the prison, from on the road. sometimes i cried so hard i couldn’t breathe under the empty dusk, sometimes i laughed so hard my stomach hurt. sometimes i sat in silence.
but mostly i talked about carl.
——
if i stared hard enough at that paint chip, i could’ve sworn the wall tore a bit more right before my eyes.
i knew who i had to see, to remind me this absence was for something, that i’d grown in my grief.
my feet carried me to his grave, hidden away behind maggie’s trailer. i sat down comfortably in front of it, hugging my knees to my chest.
“are we okay?” i whispered to the air. “will i see you in him?”
“was all of this for nothing? will it always be this way, glenn?” i wiped my hand over my nose.
i let out a shaky breath at the thought, “can we overcome this?”
“yes.”
my head whipped around, and i saw carl, standing with his arms at his sides, tears filling up his ocean eye.
it gave me whiplash how fast i stood up and launched myself into his unexpecting arms. they rested limp for a moment, but quickly moved to hug my torso tightly, lifting my feet slightly off the grass as i wedged my head between his neck.
we pulled back slightly to stare at each other, and i searched his face for the blood, for the black line, for the axe.
i smiled softly when i realized all i saw were glenn’s memories.
happy memories, of the hot days at the prison when we sweat so hard playing tag, of playing a dusty board game in alexandria the first night when we were too hesitant to sleep, of watching his love with maggie and seeing it reflected in carl and i.
“why’re you smiling?” he whispered, his own face pulling to reveal a grin. he knew.
i leaned in closer, tipping his sheriffs hat up so our noses could brush.
“because i don’t see it, not anymore.” i finally let our lips touch, a kiss that sent flames bursting in my stomach and my fingers to shake with anticipation.
he leaned into the kiss, and i felt the breath on my face at his sigh of relief.
i knew he knew what i meant when i saw the tiny twinkle in his eyes reappear looking at me, knowing he felt the same.
i pulled back ever too quickly, evident in how he leaned in again.
but before i gave him the chance to kiss me again, i let my smile burst through.
we all had a long way to go, people to kill and more people to lose, but in this moment, right in this moment:
“i see you now.” i said.
and that was enough.

- even after everything you guys been through he still managed to keep a Polaroid of you two from the farm when you both were chilling in his orange tent after being shot by Andrea
- he keeps it on him wherever he goes
- and when you’re away from him he will stare at it for awhile thinking about how different everything was then and the people that were still alive
- which makes him hug you extra long when he comes home
- you are his #1 priority
- Merle always being jealous of him that he snagged such a looker
- Rick always trying his best to keep you two together on missions
- “I know you two don’t like being separated but please brother, I need you on this.”
- Maggie or Carol being the one you go to if you are fighting with him
- Daryl really gets annoyed when you are mad at him
- because you are his best friend and he doesn’t socialize with anyone else really
- he will do a little routine that starts off with giving you space, then leaving little gifts around for you, then coming around with dinner or telling you he needs help with something, even if he makes something up just to associate with you
- sometimes he’ll cut the bs and just start apologizing and hope you can forgive him and just move on
- being able to talk to each other just using your eyes
- it’s a literal talent
- group members find it funny how you guys can read each other so well
- swapping old funny stories of your lives before the walkers
- people referring you two as each other’s wife & husband
- though Daryl never got you a ring, to him his love for you didn’t need to be shown through a ring
- but if you wanted one he’d see what he could find
- either way, it was obvious that you were his and he was yours so you never had problems with people trying to get with either one of you
- best couple ever

Starlit Confessions
Glenn Rhee x reader
Tumblr media
Glenn leaned back on the makeshift couch in the prison common area, his arm draped casually over your shoulder as the two of you gazed up at the stars through the bars of the courtyard fence. The quiet of the night enveloped you both as you sat in comfortable silence, lost in your own thoughts.
After a while, Glenn broke the silence. "You know, sometimes I can hardly believe we're still alive," he said softly, his voice low and contemplative.
You nodded in agreement, snuggling closer to him. "I know what you mean. Sometimes it feels like this is all just a really vivid nightmare."
Glenn chuckled, his breath warm against your neck. "Yeah, I get that feeling too. But then I look at you and I remember that it's all real."
You smiled, turning to look at him. In the dim light of the prison yard, his features were softened, his eyes reflecting the starlight above. "What do you think our future will be like?" you asked, curious to hear his thoughts.
Glenn was quiet for a moment, his gaze turning back to the sky. "I don't know," he said at last. "But I do know that I want you to be a part of it."
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, and you turned to face him fully. "Glenn, I..."
But he cut you off, his hand coming up to cup your cheek. "I love you, you know that, right? And I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy."
Tears pricked at your eyes as you gazed at him, overwhelmed by the depth of his feelings. "I love you too, Glenn," you whispered. "And I can't imagine a future without you in it."
As you leaned in to kiss him, the world seemed to fade away around you, leaving only the two of you in the stillness of the night. And for the first time since the apocalypse began, you felt a glimmer of hope for the future, knowing that no matter what lay ahead, you would face it together.

SOUTH PAW?
carl grimes x fem reader
Tumblr media
WARNINGS: mentions of character death (Abraham & Glenn), mentions of gore, traumatic events, mentions of amputation, begging, mentions of pregnancy (Maggie's), Negan, unedited work.
A/N: sorry for the long break, i've been so busy with a lot of things but i have a few scrap drafts i might put together and post so i'll try my best to update my queue this week.
a long night of violence is how she could describe it, a long night of tears pouring down everyone's faces as they watched a cruel man bash in two of their friends heads without even such an ounce of mercy for their poor souls in his mind.
the night felt like the eternity but as the sun had risen and the night faded it was still like a fever dream, like this wasn't all real and she was going to have to wake up soon from this nightmare.
except this was all real, Abraham and Glenn's dead bodies with their heads smashed in that was real, all of the blood splattered on y/n's face from the slinging of Negan's bat that was real.
she watched as Rick was tossed back out onto the gravel, his hands reaching to stop himself as he followed the man's forceful orders to get on all fours while he kneeled down to him.
"i'm giving you a choice Rick and this is your grand prize, what you do next will decide whether it becomes just those twos bad day or the rest of these lovely men and women sitting in front of us"
he gestured with his hands for his men to point guns at the back of their heads and y/n could feel the barrel pressed against the back of her head making her swallow harshly.
her knees started to ache from the rocks that pressed against them, the blood of a father figure had dried on her face and she could almost feel like it had been sinking into the pores of her skin.
she felt gross to have the blood on her, she felt sick each time she even looked at the dead man who was next to her, she felt sick knowing his pregnant wife was a sobbing wreck just a few feet away.
and Carl had hated to see her cry with each strike from Negan's bat that pounded into Glenn's head like he wasn't a person but yet just a piece of meat Negan used as his beating ground.
she watched as Negan had approached Carl making her heart sink as he rested his bat against his shoulder and she watched as some of the blood smeared out onto his leather.
he held out a hand to Carl who cocked his head hesitantly as he tried to ignore the gesture but Negan smiled and cleared his throat before speaking up "take my hand kid" he spoke bitterly watching as the teen finally gave in and took the man's hand.
he was stood up and Negan had waved his arm out to the side to where the boy's father rested on the ground, blood on his face, eye bags and his eyes red as his eye were still looking like they had been watering again, like they were on the brim of tears.
he pointed at the spot empty next to his father as Carl took a few steps watching as Negan stood in front of him taking a quite consideration to the gauze over his missing eye.
"you a south paw?" he asked watching as Carl looked clearly confused by a phrase he never heard before and it made Negan re-phrase his question to him, "you a lefty?" he watched as Carl shook his head while Negan pulled out a belt and un-raveled it.
he tied a belt against the boy's arm, "that hurt?" Negan remarked watching as the boy in the hat snapped back a quick 'no' before looking down at the leather tightened on his arm.
"on the ground next to Daddy and don't forget to spread your wings boy" Negan spoke as he watched Carl lay flat on the ground, his head turning in the direction to where he could see y/n and his father.
he could see the terror on his girlfriends face, the fear stuck in her eyes as her palms were flat and sinking into the same gravel the soft flesh of his cheek had now been resting against.
he could hear the crunching of Negan's boots against the rocks, and it stopped once he could see him crouch next to him thanking Simon for the pen that was given to him,
he himself was scared of what he had planned for him, what Negan had planned to do to Carl especially in front of his father and his girlfriend who had more tears pouring down her face.
he marked Carl's arm and apologized in such an sarcastic way that Carl had never even heard a human being sound so derisive in that way, even in the apocalypse.
he could hear his father start to beg as his girlfriend looked down at the ground using the back of her hand to cover up her sniffles, to cover up the rapid breathing spilling out from her.
he could see the harsh way her body rattled as she tried to manage to stay quiet in the fear that someone else would die, in fear that maybe it'd be her or even Carl that'd be next.
the word please was pouring like a continuous river in his head, the word his father kept repeating over and over as he begged Negan to show his son some mercy, to show he himself some mercy.
"don't beg me because i ain't the one doing shit" Negan spoke roughly patting Rick against the back before he gave his next order at the quite obvious traumatized man who was on all fours before him.
"Rick pick up your ax," he paused licking his chapped lips clean before continuing what he wanted Rick to do, "and cut off your son's left arm, now i know you're gonna have to process that for a second and believe me that makes sense so i'll give you a minute"
a loud gasp of air had erupted from y/n's mouth as she closed her eyes at the feeling of the barrel pressing even harder against the back of her head making her lip shake and her eyes flood.
he stood up and rubbed his hands on the denim of his pants watching as Rick's expression turn into now an even stronger pleading one, like it was just the ocean color of his eyes and the quiver of his lip giving off all the true emotion even more than his words that were spilled in such a babble of emotion.
"i am still gonna need you to do it though or all these people are going to die, then Carl dies, then the people back at your home die, and i'm gonna keep you living for a few years just so you can think about the decision you make right now"
Negan looked around at the men and women all lined up, and yet one had the courage to speak up, y/n to be exact only had the courage to speak up because it was her boyfriends life on the line.
"you d-don't have to do t-this, We understand! please we u-understand!" she looked down at her boyfriend who almost had a few tears slipping of his own as he looked at her,
as he looked at the shaking and sobbing mess this man had turned her into, he watched the sorrow tearing through her like a walker who was hungry for flesh.
he seemed to like the fear that ran though all of them, he liked the idea of watching them all tremble while they payed the price of wiping out one of his out posts because something about the pity and the terror gave him power, it gave him control.
"I'm not so sure Rick does. So i'm gonna need a clean cut right there on that line i drew out for you! now believe me this is a screwed up thing to ask, trust me i know but it's gonna have to be clean nothing messy so our doctors can fold something over."
he watched Rick tremble as he kneeled and continued to spew out his words, "we have great doctors the kid'll be fine, probably. and Rick we're in a time frame so this needs to happen now or i will crush this fella's head in myself"
"please i can take his place" Rick begged over and over as his throat felt sore and his mouth dry while his eyes ached and his head started to pound at the idea of hurting his son.
"please Negan please" Rick begged again watching as the man ran over some stubble of his beard and shook his head with a 'no' to answer Rick's pleas for it to be him instead.
"this is the only way, not making this decision is a big decision. Do you want to see everyone in front of you die? because if you don't pick up that ax you will, and you will see everything"
Rick cleared his throat as his hands remained planted in the rocks still in a pity of confusion from the whole situation, and now Negan had started to count loudly and once he got to one Rick had his ax raised while Carl was yelling at him to go through with it.
Y/n sobbed into her hands as she could hear her boyfriend cry out for his own father to cut off his arm, and when she could hear the soft chuckle of Negan and the soft gasping of Rick and not even a subtle yell or scream from Carl but yet she still buried her face.
Negan had taken the ax away from Rick's raised arm and he reached up a hand to pull Carl up from the ground, "you answer to me, you provide for me, you belong to me" and Rick nodded his head and agreed to the fact that he had now belonged to Negan and his men.
"see that look is the look i wanted to see! and man we did it, even those dead guys with the smashed in brains get a participation award for sure" he sighed as he tossed his bat over his shoulder.
"i hope for everyone's sake you understand how things work around here, things change and right about now they've changed whatever you had going for you is over, now i'll be back in a week Rick so use the truck i'll leave to gather my shit or someone else dies."
"I can't look, I can't, Carl please"
she mumbled feeling as someone in front of her had tugged on her hands softly, but she still held them against her face in fear she would see other blood being shed that she didn't want to see.
"look at me y/n, look at me"
he spoke finally being able to pull her hands away from her face once she realized that it was Carl and he had both of his arms, he furrowed his brows softly watching as she quivered and couldn't keep her eyes away from the line that he had drawn out onto his arm.
-
once he and his men had left y/n tried to stand but she could only drop back on her knees as she looked over at the dead man on the ground next to her, she gasped as her knees felt weak.
and it was Carl who lifted her up, it was Carl's arms that wrapped around her while he gave her the comfort of burying her face into the soft fabric of his flannel to shield herself from the damage and the violence that had been done to her friend.
she sobbed so hard that she could feel it shake both of their bodies, Carl stroked over her hair and watched as she shook under his grasp, she shook so hard her body started to wobble.
she couldn't speak because every time she tried to get a word out it was just a rush of tears, a rush of gasps for air, a rush of mutters that weren't even comprehensible to him or her.
her vision seemed blurry and her head was pounding so hard and her heart beat so fast she felt like she was dying, she felt like the world had been slipping away from her finger tips.
the only word that had been able to be heard was a loud gasp of 'no' as she looked at the line still on his arm, the line where Negan wanted Rick to chop off his arm, the line that now told trembling stories.
she squeezed her hand on it so tight that even the belt hadn't cut off that much circulation to his arm, she clung to his shirt as she could hear the sound of someone's shoes crunching against the gravel.
she could hear Maggie's cries and Rick who whispered something to his son who held out onto the shaking y/n, Sasha and Rosita frozen in such a terror and disbelief, Eugene still crying softly, Aaron and Michonne who were sitting in such a pity of silence.
and the two bodies around them.
y/n had slipped to her knees and Carl had let her, he let her bury her face into the ground and he rubbed her back as he tried to stop her from hyper ventilating at the shock around her but it was no use because it felt a ton of bricks were pressing against her chest.
She could feel a second hand on her back and she could tell it was Rick's by the wedding ring that she could feel through the cotton t-shirt she had been wearing,
"oh god, t-that c-could've been y-you" she sputtered out as she still felt like she could feel the specks of blood hitting her cheek with each and every strike from Negan's bat smashing into the pour mans head.
her body ached and it felt like her lungs had now finally collapsed in from the harsh beating her heart had pushed off, her bones ached from all the shaking and her cheeks were sore from the amount of tears that had been poured down them.
"i'm right here y/n, i'm right here" he had dropped to his knees and placed his hat down on the ground, he let his knees sink into the same rocks where the bodies laid.
where Maggie's tears had poured and where they knew the rest of the lives had just changed forever because they got the shit end of a deal they should've never even taken.
"Maggie" she managed to gasp out as she could feel her limp body being lifted up by not just Carl but his father, they had lifted her up so she could be taken to Maggie.
the widow's lungs gasped for air as she looked down at the ground, her knees ached and she felt sick even sicker than before, she could feel the teen reach out and place a soft but shaking hand a top of hers and to which she had finally spoken out.
"you need to go, you need to get everyone out of here Rick" Maggie spoke still sounding so brave, like she was keeping it all together when in reality she was spiraling in her mind.
spiraling at the fact her father, her sister and now her husband the father of her child had been killed in front of her, after they had begged and after they had tried their best to bargain.
"he's our family to, we'll do this together" Rick spoke watching as Maggie sniffled and the still distraught teen next to her had nodded along with the idea as her eyes filled with seeping tears.
"he's right we'll do it t-together because we're all family"
