We have been told there is someone perfect out there for us who will complete us, a knight in shining armor, a fairytale princess, the mythic “one” we have been waiting for. But we must each fall madly in love with ourselves to be whole. No other person carries the key to unlock your hidden potential. It’s you who has to make your own magic. _ We have been trained to want a linear, straight path forward and up. More, bigger better, stronger, deeper. The endless cycle of desire devouring everything in its wake, thinking that just one more thing will finally be enough, but it never is. Real life is full of peaks and valleys. Joy and happiness are part of very foundation of the journey, not the prize you get for running up the mountain all fast and furious. _ We sleep walk through life, like zombies, following subconscious orders that lead to our own demise without ever realizing. We are conditioned to be cogs in a machine whose sole end is to devour everything. That is, until we wake up from the dream and jailbreak our minds. Then, it all changes. You no longer wait to live a good life, you allow life live out its goodness through you. _ Awakening is returning. The spiritual path is nothing more than a homecoming.
