"y/n!! where are you, love?" yoongi yelled. you could tell he was climbing up the stairs. you really wanted to leave your room and go see him, but it seemed like your body was rejecting the idea. you just stayed in bed while he looked for you. "y/n! baby?" he shouts again, getting closer to the door of your bedroom. "love?" you murmured. suddenly, he burst into the room, wearing a black apron and a chef hat? "there you are, baby! look, i got us baking kits, maybe they'll help you feel better!" he smiled big. he looked very cute. on his arm, he had a pink apron for you. "are you feeling good enough to get up?" he asked, coming closer to the bed. you wanted to. "i think so" you said softly. he smiled even more, putting the kit on the bed and reaching his hand out for you. you took his hand and he helped you put on the apron. this is gonna be so easy.. maybe

"what are you doing??" you yelled, laughing hard. "i'm following the instructions, what are you doing?!" he yelled back, squinting at the instructions as if he couldn't read it. he actually couldn't. "fuck" he said under his breath. you looked at him, confused. "i think i made a mistake" he said, looking at his batter. "well it's not my fault, the stupid ass first instruction literally just says 'make cookie dough' this is so stupid!" he stomped his feet and pouted. you laughed at him. "well my cookie dough is probably award-winning, sooo" you said proudly, giving him a kiss on the cheek. he smiled and continued mixing the dough.

"how long did you put yours in for?" he asked you as he braided your hair. "12 minutes, the instructions mentioned that they only take about 12 mins" you said. he froze. "only 12 minutes?" he asked quietly. you gave him a thumps up. "i put mine in for 20" he said. you looked at him with wide eyes. "20?" you asked, hoping he was joking. he nodded, letting go of your hair. "i'm gonna set a timer for eight minutes.." he ran upstairs to get his phone while you laughed.

"your cookies look good" he said. "mine look.. questionable" he looked at his cookies and furrowed his eyes. "mine are hearts!" you said, smiling. he smiled at your cookies. "well, let's decorate. hopefully the icing can cover up the bad inside of the cookies" he said, laughing a bit.

"well done, baby! they look so good!" he said, kissing your head. "i feel much better" you said, leaning your head on his shoulder. "good, i'm glad."

i'm not really one for new years or rly doing anything for it, but i thought i should at least thank all my friends who have made this year infinitely better for me. i'm ngl, this year was really hard in many ways. it felt like me and my family particularly were hit with new things to deal with as soon as the old ones had ended, and we just desperately wanted a break.

my way of getting a break was talking to you all, writing my silly little delusions, and being able to have a space here to share my work. so thank you. whether you were a silent reader, liked, reblogged, followed, or gave feedback for my writing-- all of you have helped me so much this year. the love that my writing has received has given me such motivation to keep going and to keep trying, and i don't think i would've otherwise.

Synopsis: You and Jungkook have just started dating. He's a little nervous, because he's never dated anyone before. You decide to ease him out by bringing him on a late night ramen date.

You both just.. sat there. No words, no touching, no nothing. It was like that for 30 minutes already. You felt so awkward. Jungkook probably did too. "I'm sorry." He randomly said. You looked up at him. "Why?" You asked, worried. He didn't do anything wrong. The poor thing was just nervous. Nervous to move in with someone. Nervous to date someone. Nervous in general. "I'm not the ideal boyfriend. I'll get better, I'm just.. quite scared." He said. "I've never been in a relationship before. I want to treat you the best, but I'm scared I'll take it too far." He frowned. "Jungkook, it's like that. Sometimes you just need to take a risk, you know what I mean? Maybe we should go out. Are you hungry?" You asked, reaching for his hand. He nodded, and took your hand. "I kinda want ramen.." He started. You smiled at him, and tightened your grip on his hand. "Then let's go out for ramen!" You said. Letting go of his hand so he could get dressed. He looked disappointed that you let go, though. "I'll hold it as we go to the ramen place." You said, reassuring him.

"So, Y/N.. how was your day?" He asked, drawing circles on your hand with his thumb. "It was nice! How was yours?" You asked. "The best." He said, pulling up your hand to his mouth. "Can I?" You blushed and nodded. He kissed your hand for the first time. It was adorable. "My day is amazing because today is the day you became my girlfriend." He said. He was so charming without even knowing it! "Then my day is the best too." You said.

The ramen place was full. There was one table with two seats. Perfect, right? "For two, please." You said to the waiter. After waiting a couple minutes, he walked you to your table and gave you both menus. "What will you get?" You asked him. "Well, what are you getting?" He asked you. "Maybe Shoyu."

When you both placed your orders, you talked. It was so nice. Spending quality time with your significant other is something not everyone can get, so you both treasured the moment. You held each other's hands, and appreciated each other's presence.

When your food arrived, you both enjoyed it. Jungkook told you while you were talking that it's always good to eat well, because eating well is always better than not eating to look well. After a bit of eating, Jungkook accidentally slurped too strong on the noodles, and the hot soup landed on your neck. It didn't hurt that much, but you pretended it did so that Jungkook would have to kiss all the ouchies better. He really is starting to get comfortable with you.

He laid down next to you, and you could feel your hands touching. Should you go for it? Maybe. Yeah. You grabbed his hand and rubbed it with your thumb. "Well someone's feeling affectionate." He joked. Squeezing your hand tight. "Of course. It's you, how could I resist?" You asked. He just smiled at you.

The stars were gorgeous that night. Twinkling brightly while you gazed upon them. Namjoon pretended to stargaze, but he could only look at you. "You look like a star. Did you know that?" He asked. You blushed from his voice. "No, sir. I didn't know that." You said. You both laughed as you looked back to the stars.

"Look! It's the saucepan!" He yelled with excitement. You looked up and saw a constellation in the form of a pan. "Wow! I never thought I'd see it in real life. It's gorgeous!" You said. Smiling with enthusiasm. "Not as gorgeous as my girlfriend. Which is you by the way." He said. Pushing the hair on your face out of the way. "Joon, I don't need reminders that I'm yours. It's always on my mind." He just blushed and looked away. You reached for the bag of the paldo bibimyeon Namjoon packed, and his eyes started glimmering when he saw it.

It was nice. That night was nice. Hopefully someday it'll happen again. What you don't know is that...

"y/n, wake up. are you alright?" yoongi whispered in your ear. "you've been stirring all night." he pouted. you wrapped your arms around his neck and placed a small loving kiss on his nose. "i'm okay, yoongs. don't worry." you smiled at him, but he still had a worried expression on his face. "but i'm your boyfriend! worrying is in my job description. are you really alright?" he asked again, interlocking your fingers with his. "yes, love. i'm alright." you said again. he sweetly smiled at you and got up from bed. "well, since you're alright, why don't you get ready? i suggest wearing one of your pretty flowy shirts and comfy pants." he looked through the closet, then looked at you. you were confused, but still smiled.

"there's my pretty prince!" yoongi exclaimed as you exited from the bathroom. you blushed and he picked you up and kissed your forehead. "yoongiii" you whined. he was spinning you around and you both started getting dizzy. "alright, let's go!" he smiled. he took your hand and led you to the car.

it wasn't too long of a drive. maybe 20-30 minutes from your house including a bit of traffic. "where are we going?" you asked him. he rubbed his thumb on your hand. "you'll love it, i promise." he said. you both were singing songs that the speaker played. and then he noticed. "hey, it's our blend playlist!" he said, grinning. "you memorized our blend?" you asked in disbelief. "i'll memorize anything related to you." he smiled. you smiled too.

"we're here lovely!" he said as you both arrived. "a strawberry farm?!" you exclaimed, immediately hugging him. strawberries are your favorite fruit, and he actually remembered it. you told it to him years ago. when you two were still only friends. how did he remember? "of course. your favorite." he said, taking your hand once again and kissing it softly. "i'll get us some gloves and a basket." he said again, letting go of your hand and walking to the register.

he came back with a pair of black gloves, pink gloves, and a big tupperware for the berries. "i got you pink gloves," he said. you blushed and put them on. not the perfect fit, but good enough for a one-time use! "let's go!" you declared, running towards the berries.

"is this one okay?" he asked, showing it to you. "yeah! that one looks so fresh" you said in return, letting him put it in the basket. things were going well, until you heard him swear. "fuck-" he yelled. you turned around and yoongi was on the ground. "holy shit are you okay??" you asked, putting down the tupperware and going towards him. "i tripped on a damn sprinkler," he cried out. poor lil baby. "aww, are you alright?" you asked him, helping him get up. "of course, i'm yoongi! i'm always alright!" he said, then posed like superman. "whatever you say, anpanman"

"but i do save people!" he said

"oh yeah? like who?" you asked back, picking up the container

- he'd go "i'm the muscle man! who scared my lover?! i will kill them!" and charge towards whatever you said scared you. after like three minutes or so, he'd be back. sweating, but telling you he's victorious and won the battle. you'd laugh and pull him into a hug. immediately retracting after smelling him.

The company you're working for had decided to offer a big-time promotion to a colleague who had the capability to write the best report about the current data from the company's operation. Unfortunately, your work didn't catch the eye of the boss. "Oh. Yeah, I do. That's alright sir." You said. Sighing. You worked hard on that report, and you honestly thought you'd get chosen for the promotion. You spent hours and hours thinking of the perfect words to use, and the flow of your report.
