To explain Superman's fate in the AU: I really really like the unpublished Golden Age story K Metal from Krypton. Written before kryptonite was introduced, the plot would have been a chunk of Krypton flew over Metropolis as a comet, granting all the humans Kryptonian powers, while ridding Superman of his. Clark would ultimately have to reveal his identity to Lois to deal with the situation. The ramifications of changing the Lois/Clark dynamic to her being upset he kept it secret but being who took care of things when the comet flew by, at this early a stage, would have been amazing but I digress.

Since the AU is supposed to give pre-Crisis vibes, Superman's fate will be a little similar to Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?. His identity was made public, and his body was almost stolen by the Ultra-Humanite, but to prevent that, he allowed Lex Luthor to inject his body with K-Metal. Following this, he takes on the new identity of Jordan Eliot, allowing the world to believe Superman had perished.

Eventually, though, Jordan Eliot discovers that, although he no longer has powers, his Kryptonian organs allow him to focus the radiation of the K-Metal, and grant powers to people around him (controlling which powers he gives, as well). I like the idea of drifter Jordan Eliot making people hero for a day.

Oh, I love this idea! I'm always interested in seeing how people think Superman will end, be that death or retirement or a nebulous third comic-book explanation. The idea that even though Superman is dead he's still making other people heroes in his own way is just wonderful. I always love people leaning into the inspiration/hope part of Superman, the "you inspired me to be a good person/to be a hero" so him literally, physically turning people into heroes for a day is a great continuation of that concept.

In Supersons we see a couple of kids that are implied to be Damian and Jon's children and the boy has laser eyes and can fly, so I asume he's not adopted. The girl, who calls Bruce grandpa, can also fly, btw. So it's canon (probably by accident) that Jon can have kids and he must have married one of Bruce's kids. (I'm hoping for Damian, mostly because any other of his children would be waaaaaaaaaaaaay too old.) @artemisa97
