Lately, I have been pondering the idea of self-control. It is something we hear often. Growing up, our parents taught us to practice self-control. As we get older, we are told to focus on having self-control. Systematic destruction. Riddles from old age read by someone so young. and reasons to believe that sights are something you can always taste and vision is something to always believe. I am led to believe that life and God are just big blobs of things left to repeat. That stars are placed by him for his eyes to feel repentance as a child. He believes in me from his experience which is so little compared to my conquering. So God is not someone that is real. I look in a Child's eyes and I remember everything. They have such a sense of knowing feelings that I just find myself crouched down in time as we sit together. It doesnt matter where. It doesnt matter in what way. They know me and I'm led to believe that they truly are the only ones that do know me now. Such a beautiful wilted peddle. Something to be remembered when I'm free as a fourty year old; in a rocking chair, on a porch somewhere, with the person I love. I never anticipated that two years rounded to thirty that I'd already be looking so fast into the future.... someone to sit listen and understand that I'll always be this broken person but facts do not lie. How do I even tell him? That I am her. This is me. This is a story to exist? We are together, here. I have three wandering eyes to remember a mother that was never there. And God willing hell still say I was. Three little hands now that will grow like branches on trees in such sparing time. And God will only know this was true. Little toes and a nose and a mouth like their mother to walk a path chosen by me and they don't even know it yet.
