Seeing this Young Warrior brings tears of joy to my eyes. We must be raising our children to understand #CONSENT & respecting #BOUNDARIES as early as we can. #NoMeansNo! This is what #SurvivalArts is all about. We are creating a movement centered around protecting our bodies & our babies, raising up a new generation of warriors. I have such deep gratitude to my loving sister @vangloriousness for letting me offer lessons, and Love to raise up beside her, this powerful Spirit that she birthed into this world. I believe that our children deserve to know their magic and power- that the villages that grow them have a duty to see them in the Spirits and Energy they are born as in arriving into this world. We must listen, and learn from our children as they grow- deep listening that seeks to understand the ways they offer gifts to this existence and to help them grow these gifts. I look at my Goddess Daughter and see her fire, I see her vibrant light and I feel honored every moment we are together to be her Ninang. Teach our children to love their lives enough to truly Live them. Teach them the right to their life being lived in fullness. Teach them to wonder and to seek truths that will make life meaningful and remind them to be in wonderment and expansiveness if knowing. Teach them protection of spirit, body and mind and how to find strength in them. I’m laying down as many offerings at her feet and in her hands as we grow together. Proceeds will go to backpacks & supplies and more for the children of The Park Residence shelter at 4607 Park Avenue, Bronx, NY 10467.
