I think the potential hilarity of Durge/Karlach is not capitalized on enough, cause imagine being Gortash, the subordinate you sold to the devil ten years ago is back foiling your methodically laid out plans and out to kill you in vengeance for what you did, and then just to add insult to injury she stole your murder-girlfriend as well. Deffo mentioned this before, but it's speculation for my tfp au:

After the Orion arc, people would suggest that Optimus came back wrong. That something isn't quite Optimus about him anymore.

But... What if, the original "Came back wrong" moment was when he originally became a prime, and now he's a lot more like he was back then? The lines between Orion and Optimus get blurry yet again, and not just in namesake.
