Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and support, it means a lot to me!

My grandma's funeral was yesterday, and it was very well done. My family is all doing really well and the Reverend's message was very comforting.

Unfortunately, over the weekend my Oma was in and out of the hospital because she was barely breathing, and even though she's home now, we can't phone her because she's unable to talk because of the coughing.

I just can't seem to get a break right now and it's really starting to wear me down and it's affecting my prayer life and my faith overall. My Opa died in december. My grandma was in palliative care for two months with repeated scares that she was about to die. My Oma is most likely dying. And to top it off, my dad's bipolar-ness is really bad right now and it's terrifying to be around him because I never know how he'll react to anything, and if y'all could just keep me in your prayers that God will give me His peace and that I would always remember that everything is in God's hands, it would mean the world to me.

I think this is in regards to a post where I had reblogged/responded that you should go to confession and then you'd know you're in a state of grace, and then someone else responded with the above quotation but tbh yea. Go to confession, take the Holy Eucharist (as it is the Easter season it is required at least once) and John 13:34-35

"I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

You can absolutely know if you're saved in the moment, we just, as Catholics, do not believe in being unable to lose your salvation.

Hey does anyone still think about the thematic differences between Supernatural and the Wayward Sisters and how self-isolating male hunters are compared to community-building female hunters and how this was shown from the Harvelles to even arguably Missouri Mosely and even Samuel Campbell who is his daughter's father almost more than a man himself (especially in Season 6) is not immune to this?

And how the Wayward Sisters could have been built not on sacrificing yourself to this singular all-consuming relationship with your brother and sacrificing yourself for the world second or in name only, but instead on what it takes to cut yourself into useful and digestible pieces for the sake of keeping your place in that community because you're almost certain that it's This Community or Solitude Forever (Alex you can never escape the life no matter how much you don't want it you've gotta pitch in do you want your family to die on this hunt Claire you know you'll never find anyone to love you unless you make yourself softer and then are they really loving you are you even worthy of love anymore Jody your husband and son would still be alive if you listened and learned you can't lose another child in every sense you can't quite let your children be defenseless children either and you know so well how sick this fear makes you and how you're dealing with it the wrong way your son got to be a child but your daughters can't be that vulnerable Even Donna you have Your Role to play here you're not good enough as a hunter but you're funny and happy and you don't take up that much space so that's exactly how much space you're given to exist in).

Most of the time you can’t really tell that I have a 10 year age difference with the two mutuals/friends I talk with the most, but then @rokurookajima will randomly do something like, idk, post her art from *2013* that DOESN’T look like an elementary schooler’s scribbles and suddenly the gap is very very obvious lmao

For reference, in 2013 I was 6 going on 7 and my artistic capabilities were limited to poorly drawn ponies and cotton-candy-coloured stick humans because I thought the first Equestria Girls movie was an unmatched cinematic masterpiece :P

there's Some things that i don't completely agree with personally, like attributing the Third sin to Materialism rather than Connection (i'd argue that the Ancients had no big issue with being materialistic, considering their golden attires and such- and that going with Connection overall better addresses both the core of Materialism and relationships overall) and then attributing the word Dynasty specifically to asian cultures but that's more history/word definition beef more than anything djgklsjlcgjkd
