I really enjoyed reading this book by S. Connolly @ofsadrianna and J. C Decesari, Ph D This concise little book explores a topic on which there is little written about, working with the divine intelligence through the feminine daemonic. The authors present this work, which could be performed with any goetic spirits that represent the feminine divine, by exploring four entities, Tezrian, Delepitoré, Hekate and Lilith providing practical working information including correspondences for which we often see very few. Another beautiful publication from @hadeanpress Goetic Evocation was originally published in the late 90s and was one of very few modern texts on Goetia. This beautifully bound book presents in what is the most organized and user friendly manner the hierarchies of infernal spirits, maps and charts for working with the Sephiroth and the Qlippoth, Solomonic Pentacles and evocations. It is also organized in a way that makes it very convenient for actual use in ritual. Working with goetic spirits is often shrouded in darkness and guarded by warnings, however these spirits are not evil. They are so ancient and so vast that they carry an ominousness. Polygonatum Multiflorum- Solomon’s Seal is one of my favorite non-poisonous Saturnian herbs! Not all herbs ruled by Saturn are poisonous. Herbs that heal the tissues, strengthen and protect the bones and tendons are also Saturnian. Solomon’s seal is very versatile, not only is it an amazing medicine but it is what I like to call a magical catalyst. Herbs like this have their own correspondences but they are so versatile they can be used to increase the potency of any working. This root makes a great addition to incense as an offering for elemental spirits. It is also the perfect herb to use when making pacts with familiars and other spirits. He teaches about the stars, and the virtues of herbs and stones. He is particularly association with the knowledge of poisonous plants. Stolas is an intriguing spirit to work with for the occult herbalist. As a tutelary spirit he teaches new ways to work with plants, and the spirits associated with them. AZAZEL RITUAL OIL 💫 Azazel shows up in the Book of Enoch in reference to the Watcher angels. A scapegoat in ancient Jewish atonement rituals, the scapegoat became a proxy for all of the people’s sins and was sent into the desert as a sacrifice so the people could be absolved. The literal goat connection gives Azazel first connection to Saturn (ruled by Capricorn). The seal of the daemonic intelligence of Saturn is the same as the seal of Azazel. This ancient symbol and is found throughout ancient motifs, representing an union of opposing forces. Honoring this balance was also part of the saturnalia where normal social customs were abandoned as part of the celebration. This time of “misrule” is a time of “goat headedness” of atavistic resurgence, connecting to the numinous through taboo. Azazel is on one hand Saturnian, but on the other hand flamboyant and colorful, their predilections for costumes, jewelry and make up were a sure sign of wickedness in the Old Testament. We can connect with Azazel as Lord of Misrule, Witch King and teacher of forbidden artes. This spirit was credited with the fall of the Watchers and teaching man kind how to make weapons (but also cosmetics and fabric dyes). Azazel is one of my familiar spirits (spirit I work with on a regular basis).
