Little kid megumi has never had anyone dote on him in his life the way you do. Something he’s come to love is cuddling up against your chest and snuggling when satorus out on missions cause he knows you miss satoru (it gives him an excuse to why he does it 🙄🙄 but we all know he just loves it). Also the love and warmth he feels always leaves him with his ears turning red and embarrassed.

One time, however, he walks out of his room to see you asleep on satorus chest after an exhausting day. Megumi walks right up to satoru with a scrutinizing gaze and he asks “what are you doing?” 😭😭

Satoru Just stares at him and says “cuddling with y/n what does it look like?”

Megumi stares at him in disgust and then proceeds to climb up on the sofa. The movement lightly wakes you up and you see megumi and proceed to turn so he can snuggle into your chest. Satoru was left as the big spoon and dumbfounded. Megumi looks up at satoru and just smirks as he cuddles his head into your neck.

They constantly get jealous of eachother over you it’s so funny. ESPECIALLY SATORU.

Satorus talking about this to you and pouting “he has a crush on you I swear”

And you’re just like 😭 “he’s a child satoru, you’re really getting jealous over a child??”

Dad!Gojo would 100% try to be the 'cool dad' you wanna get ice cream after school even if you failed a test? SURE! But he is strict with some things like this man does NOT let his kid watch any movie rated 13+.

Dad!Gojo spoiled little Megumi so much it's not even funny, growing up after getting 'adopted' (basically kidnapped by a mentally unstable teenager who killed his bio father) if he even pointed at a toy he wanted Gojo just threw it in the cart no questions asked.

Dad!Gojo whenever he's asked 'wheres his Mom?' by random people, he totally makes up an entire tragic story on how he's a single dad after his girlfriend left him with a child.

GOJO SATORU,THE FATHER WHO STEPPED UP 🙌🏻🙌🏻

On the Satoru as Megumi’s benefactor vs. adoptive father debate (manga spoilers below):

How I view it is that Megumi is someone who pushes other people away because he is afraid to lose them, and because he’s afraid (to some extent) that being involved with him means the person he cares about is going to get hurt. His mother died, his father up and left him, Tsumiki was cursed, so getting close to Satoru didn’t appeal to him because at some point, something was going to separate them (in his mind). Therefore, he uses strictly polite language with Satoru despite having known him for just shy of a decade. I believe that deep-down, he really cares about Satoru and above all, is grateful to him for everything he did to keep Tsumiki and himself out of the clutches of the Zenin.

Now for Satoru. Satoru only knew Suguru for three/four years and never got over him. I honestly can’t find it in myself to believe that he didn’t let himself form a deep attachment to Megumi, even if he doesn’t show it. He’s still affected by what happened to Suguru, so he also tends to keep others at a distance, and that includes Megumi. He’s not as extreme about it as Megumi is, but since Megumi was also not open to forming a bond, he could only push so far to get closer to him. Not to mention, a part of him also probably had to actively work to get over the resemblance to Toji. I don’t think he ever held it against Megumi, but it must have just put him on edge at least at first.

And in this panel I honestly believe that seeing Megumi like this tore Satoru up on the inside. In a way, what happened to Suguru happened to Megumi, too. A different curse took over the bodies of both of the people he cares about most.

So, in short, they do have a father-son relationship, but due to the extensive trauma on either side as well as external circumstances, neither choose to fully acknowledge the depth of their bond.

I feel like Gojo's manifestation of knowingly isolating himself to protect others is: 'I'll take care of it. Don't worry'

(Gojo is nothing if not blunt about what sort of suffering being a Jujutsu sorcerer entails. Also also, his point is: you trying to put yourself down and sacrifice yourself for others is hindering both yourself AND others. Stop doing that. His thing about dying alone is HIS fear and he's trying to warn Megumi about this being a COMMON occurrence, even if he prevents this for Geto.)

... one of these days I'll make a full condensed analysis for Gojo like I have for Itadori... but Gojo's more difficult for me, and he gets more info later. So I'll do it later.
