“Normal”
Tumblr media
- in which you’re on a date with someone that isn’t Gojo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Does this count as stalking?”
It absolutely did count as stalking.
Gojo, Shoko, Nanami and Geto were currently huddled in a dimly lit booth hunkering down as to not be seen by you…or your pompous looking date sat opposite you.
“It’s not stalking.” Gojo splutters, glaring at Geto through the top of his sunglasses, “It’s just..just-”
“You tracking Y/N down and making us watch her on a date.” Shoko muses, rolling a cigarette between her fingers, reaching for her lighter.
“Exactly!”
Nanami groans, his head falling backwards, hair falling over the curve of his eyebrows, hiding his face slightly.
Shaking his head, a small grin dances across Geto’s calm face, watching as Gojo pouts and glares at your table, eyes completely trained on your face.
“‘S’not even that good looking, she just has a thing for guys that flatter her.” He grumbles under his breath, flicking the fancy wall he leaned on.
“Think most girls enjoy feelin’ pretty Gojo.” Shoko replies, hand still feeling around in her pocket, “Oh fuck sakes, I’ve lost my lighter…Hey- Geto, you wouldn’t happen to have a spare one on ya?”
Geto nodded, tossing her a purple lighter from across the table, smiling gently as she thanked him.
“You shouldn’t smoke inside.” Nanami mutters, now staring down at the menu in-front of him, finger tracing along the prices in thought, seeming to pause on the brownie section.
“No one can see, we’re fine.” She sighs, taking a drag and blowing it towards Gojo, grinning as he dramatically clutches his chest, gasping for air.
“What’s the point of us even being here Gojo.” Nanami huffs, side eyeing the bakery stand parallel to their table.
“Because, I need to show her that this..this loser is nothing compared to me!”
“I don’t know Satoru.” Geto muses, taking a sip of his camomile, “Y/N seems pretty into him.”
“Suguru!” Gojo gasps in horror, betrayal dripping from his voice and on to the curve of his disgusted face.
Shoko wiggles her eyebrows teasingly, inhaling before continuing. “He has a point Gojo, I mean look, you ever see her smile like that?”
Gojo whips his head around to stare at you, and Shoko covers her mouth to hide a poorly restrained giggle, sharing a glance with Geto.
“I make her smile like that- She smiles like that with me!!” He whines, and Nanami rolls his eyes.
A waitress smashes a glass from behind the café’s counter, you jump slightly in your seat and turn to look over at the sound, you don’t notice the group of strange looking teenagers ducking down at your movement, concealing themselves poorly in their seats.
Your date laughs at you, you blush and turn back to him bashfully, excusing yourself for being so on edge.
Gojo glares.
“So what’s the plan then Gojo.” Nanami drawls, resting his face on his palm.
“Yes! The plan!” Gojo splutters, looking away from your pretty, pretty face to look at the three of them.
He hesitates and Shoko groans.
“You do have a plan don’t you?”
“Of course I do!..So, the plan..the plan um, well-”
“He has no plan.” Geto interrupts.
“Jesus Christ Gojo.”
“Does that mean I can leave?”
“Shut up!” Gojo exclaims, “I’m thinking give me a second would ya?”
“Nanami if your leaving I’m coming with you.”
“Wanna go now Shoko?”
“Guys!”
Gojo slumps forward in his chair, his face resting on the table as he whines.
Geto rests a hand on his back and chuckles, shaking his head at the two other sorcerers.
“It’s ok Satoru, we can all figure something out ‘kay?”
“Yea?” Gojo replies, his voice muffled by the table.
“Yea.”
Instantly, Gojo springs up, his eyes as wide as his smile.
“Ok let’s brainstorm.” Geto suggest, his voice like honey as he removes his hand from Gojo’s back and reaches back to his tea.
“What if we spill tea over him!” Gojo gasped, pointing towards the cup in Geto’s hand, a sharp look crossing his face.
“Stupid. Y/N would see us.” Shoko grumbles.
“No- See Shoko, the point of a brain storming session means we make suggestions and listen without judgement.” Gojo argues, crossing his arms.
“Yea but your idea was stupid.” Nanami concludes, watching as Shoko nods.
“You suggest something then Nanamin!”
“I’m suggesting nothing, this whole idea is foolish.”
“OoOoh “Foolish” is it?”
“I’m leaving.”
Nanami stands up reaching for his bag, scowling at Gojo.
“Hey, hey Nanami c’mon ignore him he’s just..” Geto pauses with a quick regard to Gojo, “He’s just Satoru.”
“An idiot.” Shoko chimes.
“Yes, an idiot.”
Nanami sighs as he sits down, placing his brown bag back at his feet reluctantly ignoring Gojo’s grin.
“…What if we trip up the waitress as she’s bringing them their food.” Shoko suggests, twirling a piece of hair around her finger.
“That could work!”
“No, Satoru, that just causes trouble to the waiting staff.”
“And?”
Geto rolls his eyes, “We don’t need to cause anyone any trouble just because you’re too afraid to just ask Y/N out.”
“I am not afraid!” Gojo moans, putting his face in his hands.
“Uh huh, that’s why you fell out with her when she told you about the date.” Shoko laughs, wiping off ash from her arm.
“What was I supposed to do?” Gojo queries, frowning.
“Talk to her?” Nanami deadpans, “Like a normal person.”
“Our Gojo isn’t normal though.” Shoko winks, nudging an unamused Nanami.
“Focus guys.” Geto says, clapping his hands twice to draw attention.
Your sweet laugh echoes through the cafe, and Gojo pouts, shoulders slumping.
You were supposed to be sitting opposite him laughing.
It was supposed to be his food with which you shared.
And yet one petty argument about some random guy you had met in returning from your last mission asking you out, had ruined everything.
The shared glances between you and Gojo, how you leaned on his shoulder when you slept in classes, the way he would always keep an eye on your cursed energy when joining you in battle.
All those little moments had dissolved in the bitter moments after you informed him of your date, a small smile dancing in your eyes.
“He said I was pretty Toru’” You had said, your eyes wide, and Gojo wanted to cover the love sick gleam glistening in your eyes with his hand.
“I always think your pretty.” He mumbled, watching you cock your head in confusion.
“What was that?” You questioned, leaning towards him slightly, trying to recall his quiet words.
“Nothin’.” His curt response didn’t phase you as you moved backwards, a charming skip in your step.
“Think he sounds stupid.” Gojo was never good at expressing his true feelings, and in that moment, Gojo’s sheer panic over you leaving him overpowered his aloofness.
“You think someone thinking I’m pretty is stupid?” Your shoulders fell, and you turn to him, a small lour crossing your face.
“What? No? That’s not what I-”
“It what’s you said though Toru’” You sighed, and Gojo cursed at himself for the glimmer of insecurity that appeared to vex you in that moment.
“It’s just- Well he’s just stupid.”
“So you are calling him stupid for telling me I’m pretty.”
“No! He’s stupid! Not his words!”
“That’s the same thing Gojo!”
“Is not!”
“Is too!”
And now Gojo’s watching as Geto summons one of his smallest and weakest curses to push your stupid dates chair over, sunglasses off and held in his fist.
“Oh so we’re actually going with this plan? I wasn’t imagining it?” Shoko muses, stealing a forkful of Nanami’s brownie.
“Nobody else had any better ideas.” Gojo silenced, waving a hand in her direction, practically clamouring on top of Geto to watch.
“Satoru watch it, I can’t see where my curse is going with you on me.” Geto scolds, brushing the white haired man off.
“I can’t believe this is happening.” Nanami’s disinterest oozes out from his voice, nudging his plate over to Shoko who smiles brightly at his offer.
Geto flexes his hand, ensuring that the curse went unnoticed by you, it ducked under a table and weaved between chair legs.
“Make sure Y/N doesn’t see it!” Gojo panics, his hand covering his mouth.
Geto pauses, and looks over his shoulder towards Gojo, eyebrow raised.
“…Sit down Satoru.”
And Gojo immediately drops, hands on his legs.
The curse bobbles over to under your dates chair, and Geto smiles, before releasing his hold.
.
.
.
The sound of your dates chair toppling over boomed through the cafe, and with a swift flick of his finger, the curse dissapears, and all four of the sorcerer’s immediately drop their heads.
“Oh my God? Are you ok?!” Your concerned voice follows, and you stand up instantly, rushing towards your date, who grins at you from the floor.
“Oops, must have slipped.” He smiles, accepting your hand in helping in up, wiping the memory of his fall off of his jeans. “At least I have a pretty lady to help me in my moment of weakness.”
You giggle, and push his shoulder, “Oh shush you tease.” Bending over to pick up his chair.
“Oh no don’t worry I got it.” Your date winks, helping you lift the chair.
“How??!?!” Gojo groans, watching you swoon, “What is happening?”
“Man.. She must really like him eh?” Shoko offers, sharing a cheeky smile with Geto.
“Maybe it’s hopeless.” Nanami chimes in, “Do you want to finish this?” He asks Shoko, gesturing to the half eaten brownie.
“Actually?”
“Yea go on, you seem to be enjoying it.”
“Maybe.” Geto cuts in, “Maybe we should just leave them be? Let it fizzle out naturally?”
“What if there is no naturally Suguru.” Gojo mopes, kicking the leg of the table.
“Gojo it’s obvious she likes you, and it’s obvious you’re both smitten.” Shoko says, her voice muffled and she finishes Nanami’s brownie.
“..You think?”
“Everyone thinks.” Nanami replies, “Haibara thought you two were dating when we first joined the school.”
“How is Haibara by the way?” Geto questioned, “Why didn’t he join us?”
“Not sure, he said something about needing more sleep before his first solo mission.”
“Isn’t that next week?” Shoko adds.
“He likes his sleep.”
“Come on guys! Focus!!” Gojo exclaims. “I’m in a dire situation here!!”
“A dire situation that could be solved with a conversation, Gojo.” Nanami rolls his eyes.
“Try the curse again Suguru.”
“Satoru it didn’t work once, it probably won’t work a second time.”
“Ugh.” Gojo slumps back, a sigh escaping his lips. “If you’re all so sure Y/N likes me, then why is she with that loser right now?”
“She probably got tired waiting for you to make a move Gojo.” Shoko replies.
“Yea the “will they, won’t they” becomes tiresome after a while.” Geto agrees, pushing his empty cup towards the middle of the table.
“Ah!” Shoko says pointing over at you.
“They’re leaving Gojo.” Nanami affirms, joining Shoko in pointing.
“What?!?” Gojo gapes, “No!”
Geto laughs, shoving Gojo to his feet, watching you leave the cafe. “Go get her Satoru.”
“But how?” Gojo moans.
“Just go!” They all exclaim, and Gojo pauses for a split second before he’s bounding towards the door.
By the time he’s outside, you’re waving goodbye to your date, promising to call him as he walks the other way.
You look happy he thinks, and suddenly feels very out of place.
Gojo’s begins to turn to go back into the cafe, admitting defeat, when he hears your voice behind him.
“Gojo?” You gasp, disbelief permeating from your voice. And Gojo freezes, turning around awkwardly to face you.
“Hi.” Gojo replied, scuffing his shoes against the ground as he approaches you, hands in his pockets attempting to appear cool.
You look at him, your mouth slightly agape as you fiddle with the sleeve of your jumper, processing his appearance.
“You followed me to my date?” You ask accusingly, glancing around.
“He didn’t offer to take you home?” Gojo chooses to ignore you, refusing to acknowledge the implication of your words.
“I told him I could go back by myself.”
“Some guy.”
“Satoru.” You pause, lifting a hand to stop him, “Why are you here?”
A car drives past the pair of you, it’s headlights cast shadows across his perfect face and your hold yourself back from staring.
He stalls, looking at you for a moment. “C’mere, I’ll walk you home.”
“Satoru.”
You’re tired of his deflections, for once you just want to talk.
You both stare at each-other, silence decorating the air between you.
And Gojo shakes his head, stepping backwards and looking away.
“You look good.” He mutters.
“Good?”
“Pretty alright? You look pretty, he was right.”
“My date?”
Gojo’s sunglasses fall down the bridge of his nose slightly as he leans down to look at you.
“Who else?” He muses.
You don’t understand, your heart fluttering pathetically in your chest as you prove further.
“Why are you telling me this now?” You ask, your voice light, scarce of hope.
“Because.” Gojo hesitates, hating how unsure he sounds in this moment. “Because you are.”
You step towards him, it’s a slow movement and Gojo watches you almost cautiously.
“It took me going on a date with someone else for you to finally say something?” You tease, your hands shaking despite the confidence in your words.
“Would have said something without him, y’know?”
“..Really?” Your eyes widen, a tiny grin crossing your face.
Gojo nods, and you take another step and hug him, burying your face in the warmth of his chest.
And Gojo’s smile almost hurts his cheeks as he wraps his arms around your figure, pulling you in closer.
“You’re an idiot.” You mumble, looking up at him.
“But you like me.” He replies, cockily grinning down at you, blue eyes sparkling.
“Yea, I do.” You whisper, clinging to him, moving your head backdown to face his chest, face burning with your confession.
A small kiss is placed on the top of your head and you hold back a giddy laugh, pulling away from his embrace completely.
“So…Does that mean you’ll let me take you out?” Gojo questions, taking your hand and pulling you gently along to walk with him.
“Hmm I don’t know..Are you asking?” Your head leans on his arm, grabbing his arm as you walk.
“I would take you somewhere much better than that shitty cafe.”
And you’re laughing, “You love that cafe Toru.”
And he laughs with you, a long arm circling around your shoulders, pulling you impossibly closer to him.
And Geto, Shoko and Nanami watch from the window of the cafe, shaking their heads.
“Idiots.” Shoko says.
“Completely.” Nanami agrees.

tags: japanese is not reader’s first language (or mine so sorry if i made a mistake!), and she has an accent and struggles to pronounce a sentence (it wasn’t warm), established relationship, satoru is whipped.
word count: 0,3k. very short :)
Tumblr media
satoru loves you like a breezy summer night. it’s hot for most of the day, yet when open the balcony door at 3am, you sigh in content at the icy air. he loves you like the smell of waffles coming from the kitchen, they’re not burnt or undercooked, they’re crispy and golden and you sprinkle some nuts on top after cutting slices of banana and drizzling some honey. but what satoru is sure of, is that he loves you as if he were there the day you were created.
he admires what you do with adoration, admiration and love. he doesn’t need to give verbal praise for you to know that he is so proud of you.
“so when I went to check my plate in the microwave, it was not–it was not warm—“ you struggle a bit with the pronunciation of the japanese phrase, your accent slipping and you cover your mouth in embarrassment. you were telling your boyfriend about how you should fix the microwave, but somehow managed to struggle so much with a sentence. satoru is quick to remove your hand and join in the laugh, but he pulls you towards his chest carefully and throws his head back.
the heart that once felt empty, unsatisfied was now filled with nothing but love. pure, unconditional love for a person who came into his life on a whim.
“it was not warm,” satoru repeats lowly, the words gliding out of his mouth with so much ease. he is an expert at this, given that it is his native language. he resta his hands on your shoulders as his eyes rake over your face. the slight flush to it is adorable, he thinks.
“it was…not warm,”
“good job,” his voice drops a volume lower, his hands holding your face as his thumbs caress your cheeks. “my smart girl, knows so many languages that her brain gets a little fried sometimes,”
“it does,” as you sigh, you get on your tip toes and peck his lips. but once is never enough for satoru, so he pecks you again. and again and again.
“enough. you have work to do,” your hand pushes softly at his chest, giggling when he starts to kiss under your ear.
“work can wait,”
“what if it’s an emergency?”
“let em die—“
“no!”
Tumblr media
based on what i found on google, “it wasn’t warm” translates to “Atatakakunakatta” so i thought why not! if it’s wrong tho, do correct me pls!
note: based on a cute thing @aurelianamu told me abt her and satoru :) this one’s for you best friend!

how to (properly) make tomato soup | gojo satoru
Tumblr media
.. it’s three pm, you’re sick, and satoru takes it upon himself to take care of you (except there’s one problem: he does not possess any shred of culinary ability whatsoever).
content: 1.7k words, no explicit gender mention but pet names like angel and baby are used, gojo being silly while geto is absolutely done w his bullshit, reader has a migraine, mainly a self indulgent comfort/crack fic
Tumblr media
when you feel the pounding in your ears again, tears start to form in your eyes. fuck, you just can’t help it.
you’re tired. so tired of the constant headaches–the migraines that plague your days and make staying awake completely unbearable.
the familiar ache settles in, but you can tell that this time, it’s much worse than usual. the nauseating pressure that can be described as thousands of needles pricking the back of your eyes, the blinding light in the room that’s assaulting your vision, the overwhelming sounds around you that are so intense to the point where you want to do nothing but cry.
so… that’s exactly what you do.
you succumb to the pain, letting out a choked sob that arguably just makes everything worse. tears slowly make their way down your cheeks, and you put your head in your hands to simultaneously muffle your cries and shield yourself from the light around you. you want to turn off the light. your head screams at you to turn off the light, but you’re so dizzy that you can barely even move.
“y/n?”
-
the first call of your name barely registers amidst the ringing in your ears. you hear it when your name is said a second time, though, and you feel yourself coming back to your surroundings.
he’s… here.
your boyfriend, satoru. yeah, he’s here.
head still buried in your hands, you carefully move one of your fingers to peek at him. he’s crouched down in front of you, a look of concern on his face. he’s saying something…
“where does it hurt, baby?” you’re still so stunned that you can’t find the strength in you to speak. so you close your eyes and point to the area where it hurts the most, sniffling. “is it okay if i massage that area, angel?”
throughout the midst of all your pain and tears, your heart manages to swell. it swells for satoru, because he’s here–he’s present, and he cares about you.
you manage out a small nod, eyes still shut. you let out a shaky breath—a breath that you just found out you were holding, since everything hurt so much that you forgot to breathe.
satoru massages your temples gently, even making an effort to softly wipe the tears off of your face. he feels your forehead with the back of his hand and frowns at your temperature. you’re starting to burn up. “s more than a headache, baby. i’m gonna take you to the bed, okay?”
this was going to be a long afternoon.
he carries you bridal style to your bedroom and gently places you on the mattress. he turns off the lights and draws the blinds shut, providing a welcome respite from the sensory assault just moments ago. you exhale a sigh of relief, slowly opening your eyes as you wipe the dried tears off your face. he climbs into the bed with you, and you instinctively cling to him for support as you wrap your arms around his neck. it hurts. everything hurts, but satoru’s presence makes it slightly more bearable. “my poor angel. have you been overworking yourself lately?”
you bury your face in his neck, finding comfort in being close to your boyfriend. he presses a feather-light kiss on your forehead, and it makes you want to cry again. “maybe. the headaches are getting worse.”
“you should take it easier on yourself. i can’t have you cryin’ like this. not on my watch,” he remarks, making sure to keep his voice low as not to overwhelm you. “y’know, if your migraines were a person, i’d make sure to hollow purple ‘em. no hesitation.”
a soft laugh escapes you, but you regret it almost immediately as it just intensifies the pain. he lets out an apology, but you just huff.
you close your eyes again, exhaustion taking over as your eyelids grow heavier. satoru slowly releases himself from your vice grip, much to your chagrin. you try and weakly protest, but he just shushes you gently. “just go to sleep, baby. i’ll be right back, okay? when was the last time you ate?”
“hm… i remember having a little bit of breakfast when i woke up-”
“alright.” he says, making a mental note that he should make food. “i’m going to go make you something, okay? i promise i’ll be back soon.”
“...don’t burn down the kitchen, please.”
“i can’t promise that, though.”
-
“you found the soup packet? okay, finally. now you just turn on the stove…”
satoru’s a little embarrassed to say that he doesn’t know how to cook.
growing up, he’s had practically everything served to him on a silver platter, so he never had to worry about making his own food. and frankly, despite your statement earlier being a joke, he is genuinely afraid to burn the house down. so, he has his best friend suguru on a video call right now, teaching him–gojo satoru, a twenty-eight-year-old man–how to make instant soup.
“the stove?”
“yeah…? don’t tell me you don’t know-”
“-no, no. i know how to turn the stove on. of course i do.” it feels like he’s trying to convince himself more than suguru. the camera shows satoru in his kitchen, sweating profusely and glaring at the stove like it’s his biggest enemy. satoru has fought countless curses in his life, has had near-death experiences multiple times, and even faced the king of curses himself, but he thinks that everything pales in comparison to this task. he tries to turn the knob, but it won’t budge. “what the hell?-“
“satoru-” it seems like the azure-eyed man doesn’t hear him as he keeps trying to turn on the stove (suguru swears he hears him muttering the phrase “with this treasure i summon”, but that’s not even his technique). he can’t help but facepalm for the hundredth time during the duration of this call. “satoru!”
he finally gets his attention, and satoru looks at his phone and sees geto with a look that screams “are you fucking kidding me?”—or really, just a look of utter disappointment. “you’re turning the stove the wrong way.”
“...”
he turns the knob the opposite way, and the burner sets ablaze instantly.
“oh, yeah… um, i definitely knew that.”
“satoru, how do you survive whenever you’re not on a mission?”
“sometimes i think about that too, really. i think it’s because y/n is the one who always cooks.”
“you think i can’t tell already?”
-
much to both of their surprise, satoru managed to make a pot of tomato soup. it only took him approximately forty-five minutes. satoru seems so proud of himself, meanwhile suguru looks so ready to block his number and never talk to him again.
he pours some of the soup into a bowl, and places it on a tray. he also takes a few painkillers from the medicine cabinet–along with a bottle of water. he thanks suguru for helping him, and is about to hang up but stops short when his best friend freezes. “wait, hold on. did you turn off the stove?”
and after making suguru swear on his life to never speak of this event to you and airing out the house to get rid of the smell of smoke, gojo satoru, “the strongest”, thinks he’s the first ever man to somehow burn a pot full of soup.
“it’s an impressive feat, really.” he claims.
suguru just says that he should never be allowed near a kitchen ever again, and satoru actually finds it in himself to silently agree.
-
an hour has passed, and he sets the tray on the nightstand, relieved that the past hour of his life is finally over, never wanting to do that ever again. you’re sleeping soundly on the bed, and he almost doesn’t have the heart to wake you up, but he knows that you have to eat something. he turns the nightlight on and gently taps you on the shoulder as you wake up with a stir. “toru? s’that you?”
“it’s me. can you wake up for me, baby? i promise you can sleep again after, but you need to eat.” when you slowly sit up from your sleeping position, he places the tray on your lap and softly coaxes you to eat. you take a spoonful of soup into your mouth, relishing in the flavor as you’re just now realizing how hungry you are.
“this is good,” you say, letting out a smile. the nap helped you come back to your senses a little, and you can finally breathe a little easy now that the pounding in your head has eased. “didn’t know you could make this.”
“yeah, well, you better savor it.” cause i’m never making that again.
when you finish the soup, you swallow a few painkillers while taking a greedy gulp of water from the bottle on the tray.
just in case the pain comes back, you think. though you really, really wish that it wouldn’t.
satoru sets the tray on the nightstand, and you settle back into the covers, wanting to just sleep the rest of the day away. satoru follows not long after, turning off the nightlight and letting out a yawn.
you bury your face in his neck once more, kissing him on the cheek. “thank you, for um—for all of this.”
“s nothing. just promise that you won’t overwork yourself again, okay?” he says, carefully caressing your cheek with his thumb.
“i’ll try not to.”
“hey, you can’t say just that. you have to say, ‘i promise not to overwork myself again, toru. i love you, and thank you for the tomato soup.’” he says while poorly imitating your voice, and you can’t help but laugh.
“okay, okay. i promise not to overwork myself again, love. i love you so, so much.” you say while peppering kisses all over his face, and he’s so glad that the lights are off so that you’re unable to see how his cheeks are beet red. “thank you for taking care of me… and for the soup. it was good.”
and as your eyelids begin to grow heavy once more, satoru thinks that his efforts aren’t in vain after all. because the sight of you, finding comfort in his presence, stirs a little bit of determination from within him. and maybe, just maybe, he’d take it upon himself to learn how to properly cook, not just (partially burnt) instant soup, but a real meal for the next time that you’re feeling like this.
and as he watches your chest rise up and down as you sleep, he can’t help but whisper, “yeah. next time, i’ll make you more than just soup. i’ll cook something special, just for you. ‘nd i won’t burn the pot again, either.”
because for you, satoru would do anything as long as he gets to see you happy. and part of that includes learning how to (properly) make tomato soup… and more.

“listen. i’m telling you again. we’re NOT telling her i got you that lego set for winning that fight, am i clear?”
megumi nods with a roll of his eyes, arms crossed over his chest. “i don’t think she’s gonna be as mad as you think she will be. this isnt the first time this happens, you know?”
“regardless, the lego set remains unmentioned,” satoru points at megumi with a serious index finger, to which megumi rolls his eyes again as he resumes setting the dining table. “the tone of her voice on the phone said she’s coming for blood. i don’t wanna be on her bad side.”
“oh? so you set me up instead?!” megumi lets go of the plates to cross his arms over his chest. “is the strongest really such a scaredy-cat, now?”
“i’m not scared!” satoru is offended, even though he’s about to piss his pants. “and I wasn’t the one that decided that beating up 8 fucking kids on one go was the brightest idea ever, was i?”
“but you rewarded me for it!”
“he did what?”
the two of them freeze in their place, eyes widening as they hold each other’s gazes, too scared to look at the source of the voice coming from the kitchen entrance.
they stay quiet for a solid amount of seconds, and you remain unmoving. gojo gestures for megumi to look at you first, to which megumi replies with a subtle shake of his head, a thin sheet of sweat breaking on his forehead.
“i asked a question.”
thunder is rumbling, and when gojo decides to, very slowly, shift his gaze to you, it’s a scene right out of a horror movie when lightening strikes and thunder rolls on cue. you’re standing at the entrance, drenched from head to toe, a cut or two fresh on your face. your uniform remains unscathed, save for the water dripping to make a little damp pool beneath your feet.
“you’re home early, sweets,” gojo tries to approach, but you pin him in place with a glare. his nervous grin gradually falls from his face. “how was the mission?”
he hears footsteps approaching quickly, and when tsumiki comes to a halt behind you, seeing the state you’re in, she begins to slowly retreat despite satoru’s look of despair at her.
“you rewarded him.” you echo megumi’s words. the 14 year old swallows hard, eyes sliding from you to the suddenly more interesting kitchen sink. “he almost gets expelled, and you reward him.”
“but he didn’t get expelled!” satoru chuckles cheerfully. “he apologized, and all! didn’t you, megumi?” he nudges the teenager’s shoulder pushing him a bit forwards so he can take some of the impact himself. he lowers himself a bit to mumble to him through his teeth. “who’s the scaredy -cat now, huh?”
“I-i—“
“i leave the house for a couple of days— not even a couple, this was a day and a half, and i have to wrap my mission up quickly because my son’s being turned into a delinquent with his dad’s support?”
it takes satoru a couple of seconds to register the words that just came out fo his partner's mouth. he immediately looks at the flustered teenager by his side, to find a light blush on his cheeks and neck.
something warm settles behind gojo's ribcage. it was never addressed, that they're practically family. the only d word megumi calls gojo is dick, but fuck, by the look on megumi's face, the way his skin is painted pink, he knows that the seemingly stoic kid feels the same.
satoru doesn't even think you realize the way you addressed them.
tsumiki peeks her head from behind you. there's a sweet smile growing on her sweet face that he catches. he tries not to smile, he really does, but something in his demeanor is shattering right before his eyes.
"satoru!" you raise your voice, a frustrated frown painting your features, but all satoru feels is the love spreading through his body, his fingertips buzzing with it and all. "this is not rewardable behavior!"
"don't be mad at him..." megumi mumbled, finally taking a step forward. your gaze shifts to him, but he's looking anywhere but you. "he only wanted to cheer me up. this is my fault."
your eyes can't help but soften. gojo watches the change of expression in awe.
"if it helps, they were bullies." satoru chimes in a much softer voice, matching the look on your face. he ruffles the boy's hair, who doesn't push his hand away for the first time in a while. "it's just that megumi here has his own way of doing good. peculiar," gojo pauses with a little laugh when the teenager finally pushes his hand away grumpily. "but he's still doing good."
you finally spot the scar on his cheekbone, one that's already been tended to by satoru it seems, but you still walk across and hold his cheeks in your hands to check it out. its really not that deep, but something still tugs at your heart.
and satoru is still watching the changes of your expression, taking note of every little one. he knows you all too well, you see, and he knows that you're about to start tearing up any second now.
"why don't you guys go fetch angry mom here a towel or two?" he addresses the children, grabbing your wrist to let go of megumi, who looks too guilty for his own good right now. he brings you closer to him instead. "I'm afraid she'll only be grumpier if she catches a cold."
megumi hesitates, but tsumiki calls for him, understanding the cue better than her younger brother.
once they were both out of sight, gojo chuckles in endearment when you shove your face in his chest, uncontrollable tears escaping past your heavy lids. he grabs your head with one hand while the other holds you to him, soaked and all.
"oh baby," he sighs. he doesn't think he's ever been happier than this moment right here. "you just called him my son."
you punch him right in the gut. he groans out in pain, but his hold never wavers on you. "he is your son."
"i think we both prefer the name long-term pain in the ass, but that will do." he raises your head to look at him, and when he sees that red nose and tears down your cheeks, he can't help but giggle some more. "god, you're literally the best thing to ever happen to me."
"shut up." your cheeks burn in his hands, and you're unable to look away. "I was so scared something had happened to him. i would've never forgiven myself."
"the fuck do you take me for?" satoru fakes offense, raising an eyebrow down at you. you roll your eyes at him, from which he takes even more offense, letting you go with a scoff of disbelief. he dramatically removes his sunglasses and crosses his fingers in front of him. "I'll hollow purple your ass so hard right now and you'll never live to tell the tale."
"sure, honey," you pat him on the chest with one hand and wipe away your tears with the other, beginning to turn away from him with a, now more subtle, eye-roll. "whatever you say."
he grabs you and pulls you flush to him again, this time capturing your lips in a sweet, chaste kiss that has your whole body letting loose right there in his arms. your arms wrap around his neck like a reflex, and he squeezes you into him, a dull ache beating in him to just merge your bodies into one,, to have you in his very bones, and maybe even then it wouldn't be quite enough.
"i would rather be torn in two than let something happen to any of you," he breaks away from the kiss to peck your nose. you look into his eyes, and it worries you just how true his statement is. "what else do I have to fight for?"

sleeping on the couch after an argument | Gojo satoru
Tumblr media
You didn’t understand but you also did.
Gojo Satoru was the strongest sorcerer after all, the busiest one really. He’d wake up early, sleep late or not sleep at all. It’s true that Gojo’s body has adapted to this sleep schedule overtime but, the higher ups and their hatred towards Yuji seemed to make Gojo stressed.
You only wanted to comfort him, to maybe talk about it? Who knew the strongest, even with their true self, not want any comfort…or is it that Gojo would still choose his pride over you?
“I told you many times! You don’t have to hide anything from me, you can tell me anything you know?!”
You snapped, trying to knock some sense into him.
“WELL MAYBE I DON’T WANT YOUR HELP! YOU’RE SO SUFFOCATING AND ANNOYING!”
Gojo snapped back, before turning around and leaving to your shared bedroom, leaving you shocked…unable to comprehend what he just said.
Maybe he needed time alone? Maybe you were really suffocating and annoying. Seeing how he was in a bad mood maybe it wasn’t the right time to try get him to vent, after all, he needed so much rest. One night without him won’t hurt after all right?
wrong.
Back with Satoru, he was frustrated. You were supposed to be there, next to him, in his arms. But now there he was, alone on the bed, because he chased you away.
It’s 2am yet he can’t sleep.
without a second thought, he went to the living room, to see you on the couch. He was dumbfounded, why? Sure he snapped but…oh, never mind…right…he did chase you away.
quietly walking towards you, he picked you up before carrying you back into your bedroom and hugging you while you were asleep. Gojo will definitely apologise tomorrow…right?
No, his pride would never allow him to.
waking up, Gojo planted a kiss to your head
“Good morning sweetheart….” He had a smile on his face “this is where you’re weak…right?” He smirked as he reached for your sides and ticked you…..
“Ahahaha! Satoru stop~~~! It tickles!”
He never did. Until he had to.
You got princess treatment ,ent for the rest of the day, he didn’t apologise though, he didn’t have to…..because all his actions showed it all <3
From reader : hey! Sorry for being gone for so long :(, I’ve been quite busy lately

✰ — cw / tags satoru’s firsts just so happened to be with you, f!reader, sfw!

Tumblr media
GOJO is upset. he is next to you on the school rooftop, hating every second of it—not because it’s you, but because you are crying. you’re crying and he has no idea what to do.
you’d gotten into a fight with your friends, or ‘your stupid friends that are no good for you’ as gojo puts it, that day. it was a trivial matter turned serious, escalating from banter to sudden silent treatment: you have no idea what to do, and you wonder how you will survive tomorrow’s classes and lunch after they had just shut you out. you would have nobody to sit with, you realise. you complain to satoru, your eyes brimming with tears.
he’s about half an arms length away from you, scared he will say the wrong thing; he didn’t know much about arguments. suguru and him were always on good terms. he’s thinking about the most general advice he could give you, just to be on the safer side, in case something specific he says ruins your life. he’s thinking so hard he swears he has veins showing on the sides of his forehead.
your sobs get quieter, and so does he. he hasn’t said much in the past half an hour. he has never felt guiltier than now, cursing himself for not being able to comfort you when you needed him—but an idea comes to his mind, one not half bad.
“c’mere,” gojo suddenly suggests, “closer.”
you comply, unsure of what he’s about to do, until he snakes his arm around your shoulder and turns to you. his right arm reaches for your back, enclosing you—gojo is warm, his shoulders obstructing your peripheral vision.
he’s not sure if he’s doing it right, because you start to sob into his shirt. you would usually be scolded for messing his clothes up, but that’s the last thing on his mind now; he thinks you fit just right into his arms.
“you can have lunch with me tomorrow.” his voice is low and soft, gentle and sweet.
you never knew gojo satoru could be sweet.
“okay.”
gojo pulls away from you, momentarily, his expression one of worry—before opening his mouth to speak again. “your eyes are so puffy. how will guys like you now? your nose is so red, too.”
you scoff, leaning back into his chest. “and i thought you were being nice for a minute..”
“now i’ll be the only one willing to look at you.”
GOJO ‘ s leaning in close to you, and your lips are trembling from how nervous you feel. his eyes are locked onto yours, his breath shaky and clearly uncontrolled; his chest is rising and falling at a fast pace, and you’re the same—fingernails digging into the soft cushion you two are laying on.
it is a friday night when you’re at gojo’s house under the pretense of ‘tutoring’, but here you are: here he is, in front of you and anxious. for the first time, gojo satoru is not confident. a million thoughts race in his mind, swirl and jump around and it almost makes him dizzy—though he can’t tell if it’s actually because of how much prettier you look up close. your lips look so soft, and he knows you’re looking at his too.
you’re not sure how it led up to this. you two gave up on your physics homework and decided to watch a movie, making yourselves comfortable on his couch—and you reached for the remote to lower the volume, reaching over satoru to the table next to him. you think it’s cliché, how you almost fall over the couch when you make that stretch for the remote; only for satoru to catch you with his arm around your waist and his face inches away from yours.
the remote is still in your hand, and satoru’s fingers are gripped firmly on the flesh of your hips. your chests are pressed together and you are so, so tempted.
“can i kiss you?”
you’re taken aback by the question. his breath is cold against your skin; shivers travel up and down your spine and you feel lightheaded again. nevertheless, you muster a nod—you feel the tension break and your heart skip a beat when his lips rush after yours milliseconds after your approval: a relief you never knew you needed.
it feels right, his lips—as if perfectly molded to yours. they are warm and taste like the coffee you shared (technically, that he stole from you) earlier: sweet, so sweet that you need it to last forever.
he pulls away, eyes still following your lips. his pupils slowly trail up your face until they’re looking at yours, dilated and shining in the warm light of his living room.
“i’ve never kissed anyone before.” you almost stutter, hoping he wouldn’t ridicule you as he always did: but you had a feeling this was the kind and gentle satoru you were speaking to.
“me neither,” the ends of his lips curve into a smile, and not the smug one you and many others were used to—something has changed between you two, and his actions suddenly bring about an entirely different weight now.
“feels right with you, though.” satoru whispers. you’re fighting every urge in you to kiss him again; every nerve in your lips wait for his. your self control doesn’t take long to render useless—seconds later, his lips are on yours again, making sure you two are much closer this time.
GOJO is not your boyfriend.
the sun is merciless, beating down on you both as you two hold hands and stroll around the beach and the market that resided next to it. it was a typical saturday afternoon, except with satoru pestering you to go to the beach with him: when he had texted you about it, you were confident he had asked his other friends to come along as well.
you show up at the entrance of the market as planned, and you see nobody else but the tall, snow-headed figure you were well accustomed to.
your friends were surprised you two weren’t dating by the two year mark. there were a few times you got upset about it, the fact that he hadn’t asked you out. he had kissed you, after all; your first kiss, yet you know there was going to be no other like it, and you wanted it to stay that way—yet there was this doubt manifesting in you, an anxiety of sorts: did gojo even mean it?
“satoru.” your voice calls out for him, and his head turns from the view of the waves to you.
satoru didn’t pay any mind to when you started calling him satoru.
it was exhilarating just to even say his name, the intimacy of it was enough: enough for you to be content with the fact that he wasn’t yours—at least you got to call him by the name no other girl could. it felt the same to you, satoru was not yours: but his name was on your tongue.
he was yours in that way.
“y/n.” it was equally intimate when he said yours, maybe even more. the way the syllables of your name roll off his tongue, his expression and tone, one no other man could replicate.
“satoru.” you say again in response, smile getting wider and cheeks redder.
“stop saying my name like that.” satoru smiles and turns his head away from you, again, almost as if he is embarrassed of how red his ears go when you savour every syllable of his name.
his fingers are intertwined with yours. they’re cool compared to the heat you two are standing under, and gojo continues navigating the crowded market—making sure you don’t get pushed around by random strangers.
a few hours pass and you two are eating kiwi fruit on the sandy shores, the sun setting rather slowly. it was noisy: music is being played from an event happening nearby, families playing beach volleyball, children running around haphazardly.
you lean against satoru’s shoulder, wondering when you two will ever talk about that night at his place—you’re not sure if he even wants to talk about it. maybe just a one time thing.
the thought of it never happening again eats you up inside. how unfair it is, that gojo satoru could make you feel such a way and never again.
“y/n,” he mutters, throwing the skin of his kiwi into a plastic bag. “can we talk about it?”
it’s scary how you have nowhere to run now. you thought he would bring it up on the phone, and you’d have at least some time to think about what to say. “about what?”
he scoffs, “don’t act stupid. there’s a reason why i asked you out today.”
you keep quiet, unsure of what to say to make this any less tense. you two were just eating kiwi and watching the sunset. there was nothing awkward about it until he made it awkward.
“then why did you ask me out?”
“because i wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend, but here you are acting like an idiot.” he groans, taking your kiwi and eating it. “i see why none of your dates ever work out.”
you laugh, almost shocked at how satoru is complaining so much and yet his face is flushed. you sit up and look at him. “that’s really rude, ‘toru.”
“you know i like you, y/n.” his chest is pounding—it’s deafening how loud his heartbeat is. his eyes are looking at you, eager for an answer but clearly afraid of rejection.
you lean closer, kissing his cheek, hoping to soothe some of his anxieties. you could never say no to satoru, and he seemed unaware of that; but you knew he would come to realise it sooner or later.
“i like you too, ‘toru.”
SATORU is nowhere to be found. you’re in your bed, listening to a playlist he had made for you awhile ago: before you two had dated. now that you look at the titles, you should’ve known he was head over heels for you. the rain pounding against your window drowned out most of the music playing from your headphones, though.
it was a boring day without your boyfriend. you haven’t spoken to him for a few days now, partially because you’re not sure whether he even wants to. a tense day at practise made him raise his voice at you, something really unlike him.
you knew he didn’t mean it. but you weren’t going to act like you were okay with it, either—he had hurt your feelings, after all. though, it did make you just a bit upset that he didn’t bother to call you after that day.
you’re curled up in your bed, wondering if this was how it’s going to be. after every argument, would he be this way?
your thoughts are interrupted by knocking at your bedroom door. your mother’s face appears in the space between your door and doorframe: gentle voice and a smile. “someone’s here to see you, y/n”. you think it’s your aunt who lives across the country, the one who brings you those sour strawberries you don’t really like but never have the heart to decline.
your mother’s face disappears and the door opens, revealing that it’s not your aunt like you had initially thought.
the figure in front of you was that of your boyfriend’s, hair wet from the rain and a pout worn on his face. his eyes and nose are red, cheeks puffy. he’s holding a bouquet of flowers, your favourite—you remember telling him about it a few months ago.
“i’m sorry for raising my voice, i shouldn’t have. i know it scared you but i really didn’t mean to yell.”
you decide to let him ramble. satoru was vulnerable around you in many ways, but never like this.
“i didn’t want to yell, i was just having a bad day and i know that’s no excuse. i’m so sorry, i was being stupid and—“
you stand up and come closer to him, your fingers moving his hair away—his face is stained with tears.
“it’s okay, ‘toru. thank you for apologising.”
he sniffles, not crying anymore. satoru hugs you tightly, and he smells like a mix of rain and cologne. “i love you.”
“i love you too, satoru.”

currently thinking about teen!gojo who has a massive crush on the reader :))
of course shoko and geto can see right through gojo, and the way he goes out of his way just to take a glance at his pretty crush <3
when he insists that shoko and geto should try this “new coffee shop” down the street, with him, a shop that has been open for months. however shoko and geto know that you spent most of your afternoons studying there like the smart girl you are.
the way gojo, acts surprised when he sees your head buried in chemistry books.
what a coincidence right?
as much as he hates do admit, he is a little bit of a stalker. finding out what classes you take, your schedule, the bus you take to get home, all of this so he can figure out a plan to at least have a small conversation with you.
acting completely clueless when he sees you sitting on the back of the bus, earpods on your ears.
but this was a total coincidence right?
watching you from far away, during breaks, drink an iced latte, tongue swirling the straw. you were so adorable, how could anyone not be in love with you?
truth is teen gojo has no rizz, and the fact that you guys are not that close, makes it akward. but gojo is determined to make you his.

gojo satoru x reader. fwb!au. angst to comfort/fluff
kind of a sequel to this
Tumblr media
You’ve been ghosted.
To be fair, you had kind of expected this. Key work: kind of. You try to not let your heart constrict itself into an organ of loathe, depression and hatred for the past 3 weeks.
Unfortunately, the agony still sits on your granite kitchen counter three weeks later. It’s in the box of his stuff he had the nerve to leave behind, along with all the thread-like semblance of hope you had for your future together. (How foolish of you, really.)
The kitchen itself, however, is empty. The living room you’re standing in — also empty. Your family and friends who came to help you move your stuff to your new apartment left a few minutes ago. They’re on their way there first to pick up some food before all of you move more heavy boxes into the place. And you’re grateful.
Grateful that you have people in your life that don’t ghost you, even if you can count them on a hand. People that care. That are consistent in your life. That aren’t curse-bound.
God, you hated him for the first week. Hated how even though you tried to make his habitual appearances not a part of your routine, you find yourself missing the white hair that tickles your neck when you search for a fresh set of pajamas, the clingy hands that harbor not-so-innocent touches as you put on skin care, and even sometimes, in the morning when you didn’t have the heart to kick him out the last night, the most amateur brewing of coffee you’ve ever had because who needs coffee when you have Gojo Satoru to keep you energized.
You shake your head to rid your thoughts. You take a deep breath in, ready to say goodbye to the place, goodbye to the memories, ready to let the box be discarded away just like he has done to you.
And just as you almost let go, you feel it.
You feel him. You don’t turn. You can’t. Because it cannot be real. You know what’s real and it’s not tender kisses and hands intertwined, it’s a job in a new city, in a new position. Life is not Gojo Satoru, it’s a new apartment.
Yet, there in your old apartment, you come to life upon hearing his voice.
“I see you’ve changed the place.”
His joke comes soft and light, as if to not scare you. Because he has to know that you are livid. He keeps his distance. Though, everything in Satoru is compelled to hold you. He thinks your name must be carved into his bones, with the way it urges his joints to reach for you, always always drawn to you.
You still haven’t turned. Still in shock, because this has to be a hallucination. Some sick joke from the universe, maybe. He calls your name, but before he can close his mouth, you turn around and ask harshly, “What are you doing here?”
Tears are already brimming at your eyes. You find yourself looking at him for the first time in a long time and it makes your heart ache. You could hear him out, but there is something in you that doesn’t want to. You had been raised with impatient needs, always in a rush to satisfy the ones who claimed to love you. Love is patient, love is kind, and you want it so bad to not be love.
A moment of silence passes by as Gojo bores into you, until his heart caves and takes a big step toward you, tests the water by taking your hand in his.
And you cry, weakly shrugging away, before he’s pulling you into the warmest embrace of your life.
“I’m sorry.” He catches sight of the box on the counter and can only guess what it could be. He’s been so selfish with his love for you, that he had forgotten about the treachery that so greatly tries to seep through his infinity. Gojo hadn’t accounted for it, didn’t ever in his life think he could feel afford to be humbled. But, as he stands there with you falling apart in his arms, he feels intimidated. “I’m so sorry.”
“I hate you.” Are you okay? How have you been? Where did you go? He hums softly, still caging you with his arms. You dare to ask, because to love is to be vulnerable, “Where were you?”
He holds you tighter, his eyes threatening to drop some tears of their own. He laughs and you can hear how watery it is when he tells you, “A box.”
You pull away, brows furrowed as you look up at him. He wipes away a falling tear on your cheek before pulling you into him again, desperate for you to not see him cry.
“I’ll explain later… Just let me hold you right now.”

It’s the way Satoru’s leg starts idly shaking when you seem down; the way he has a perplexed pout and how his brows are furrowed as he rummages his mind for solutions on what could help with your mood. If it wasn’t for the black mask, you’d know how he’s stressed out. It’s the way he scans your body language, noticing any crack and trying his best to help. Until finally, he loses his mind & goes.. “baby, what’s up? You seem down.” and oh lord if you cry… you could physically feel the way his heart is crushed as his bulky arms coup you closer, treating you like an esteemed baby feather of the rarest bird sighted ever. Absolutely fragile and absolutely in need of protection. “Tell me what’s up.” He’s not playing around, and as bad as your mood is, his desperation to make it all better is more choking, more desolating than the cause itself. You really can’t do anything about it… Satoru loves you infinitely.

★ insists on getting dessert every time you go out
★ when you’re sad, he’ll notice and tilt his head to the side, ducking down slightly so that he blinks up at you to catch your eyes before he asks you what’s wrong. he then makes silly jokes to lighten the mood and becomes extra clingy until you feel better
★ when you gossip to him he fully participates, joining in slandering whoever you’re shit-talking
★ charms your family by talking to them like they’re all old friends and instantly puts them at ease
★ not the type to say “I love you” but shows it instead with the little gifts he’ll bring back from missions, with how he constantly finds ways to touch you, and with the look of pure admiration in his eyes whenever he looks at you
★ whenever he’s away on business he’ll call you and talk to you until you fall asleep
★ annoys the people around him with how much he gushes about you. finds ways to bring you up in any conversation he has. “oh, that’s your favorite color? that’s reminds me of—” *proceeds to brag about how wonderful you are*
★ when you do sleep beside each other, his brain has a hard time shutting off, so he ends up rambling about whatever is on his mind and the two of you wind up staying up late bouncing topics back and forth

"It's alright honey"
Tumblr media
Synopsis - Just Husband Gojo being the amazing husband he is and comforting you after a long week
A/N - Reposting my old stuff lol, feel free to send requests
Tumblr media
Husband gojo who got home early from his mission and was waiting for you to come home.
Husband gojo who opened the door the moment he heard a knock on it. He knew it is you.
Husband gojo who notices that something is wrong the moment he senses your curse energy.
Husband gojo who hugs you but you don’t quite return the hug back. Now he was sure something was wrong with you because you, not hugging him back? nu-uh that’s almost impossible.
Husband gojo who was now concerned, asked you “my kikufuku are you alright?”.
One sentence was all it took to break the dam.
The waterfall of the tears started running down you tired face. This kinda shocked him. Gojo felt awful seeing you like this.
He knows that you are stressed out because of all the constant missions and after all these tiring missions you came back home, exhausted and tired but still managed to prepare amazing food for him and did all the chores.
Those higher-ups were going to get an earful from gojo. He knows that you are one of the strongest sorcerers and all the difficult missions are appointed to you but hoarding up all the work on a single person is something he can’t tolerate. Specially if it is you.
Husband gojo who hugged you and slowly guided you to the floor. You were crying uncontrollably. Hearing your sobs was hurting his heart.
“Shh.. it is alright honey. Let it all out..” he was trying his best to comfort you. His hand rubbing your back soothingly to comfort you.
His shirt was wet with your tears. Not that he minded but the fact you were crying so much was making him feel awful for not noticing how stressed you were sooner.
After a bit, he took you to the couch so that you can get comfortable.
He was still hugging you and rubbing soothingly on your back, whispering sweet nothings to help you feel better.
Your sobs finally stopped after what like hours. “How long have you been feeling like this honey? Hmm?”
“A few days? Maybe..”
“My precious kikufuku, you should have told me….I-I would have tried to make you feel better”. His voice was really soft and soothing to your ears. But it was filled with worry.
“B-but I didn’t want to disturb you..” you answered him honestly. That is what you were thinking.
You know that Gojo Satoru is a busy man, he has better things to worry about rather than you being tired, it wasn’t a really bid deal, you were used to it.
You were debating about whether you should tell him or not, because you didn’t want him to worry about such small things.
“You can never disturb me, you know that? I am always here for you whenever you don’t feel alright, okay?” You hummed in response.
You were grateful to have such and amazing and supporting husband.
You knew that you could tell gojo about your mental health and how you you are feeling but you just couldn’t really express it in words.
“But you shouldn’t really worry about my mental health. You already have other things to worry about”. You were saying what has been on your mind and this is true. He already has so many things to worry about. The jujutsu world is quite depended on Gojo.
“You and your mental health are very important to me. More than anything else” this sentence had something you have always wanted to hear. You didn’t know that a simple sentence can make you feel comfortable.
As your sobbing has stopped, Gojo felt relieved that he was able to comfort you. He was about to get up and get you some water but he felt something grab his hand.
“Please don’t go”.
“I am not going anywhere love. I am just getting some water to hydrate you”. Gojo came with the glass of water as fast as he could. (And trust me it was really fast)
“Do you want to talk about it hun?” He asked you in hope that you might want to tell him something, so that he can help you with it.
You shook your head. You were not really sure if you could really talk about it just now.
“It’s alright. But if you ever want to talk about it, remember that I am always here alright?”
You nodded. Husband gojo planted a soft kiss on your forehead. His action making you smile.
Gojo knows that stress can be a lot sometimes. He does not want you to bear it all alone.

— A drabble about falling asleep on Gojo, and making him realise something he never even considered.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You’re asleep before you even realise it, your head softly bouncing as your body slumps sideways.
Right onto Gojo’s shoulder.
Well, nearly.
The blindfolded man turns his head at the slight bump on his infinity, pausing briefly as he sees you sound asleep, a small crease in your brow as your body attempts to readjust into a more comfortable position.
That mission must have taken a lot more out of you than he had thought.
For such a well rounded sorcerer as yourself to fall asleep on the train ride home…Gojo finds himself frowning at his lack of perception.
He could have handled it for you, had you have asked him to, should you have voiced your exhaustion to him, he would have finished the mission quickly and walked you right to your bed.
You hadn’t been sleeping well recently, he had noticed that.
Being too caught up in trying to teach your students whilst also contributing to your part in the eradication of curses, left you a yawning mess, trailing your feet ever so slightly behind you as you walked.
You lack your usual air of charm, your eyes duller, and voice quiet, and Gojo finds himself, missing you a lot more than he believed he should.
When the pair of you return to Jujutsu Tech, Gojo makes a reminder in his head to take over the rest of your missions until you can promise him of your rest.
If you won’t take care of yourself, then he will.
For now though, the traces of a small smile can be seen on his lips, as your head finally hits the warmth of his shoulder, his technique forgotten for just a moment.
Allowing himself the feeling of your hair tickling his neck, and the weight of your sleep, he traces your eyebrow with his thumb, smirking as you sigh contently at his touch.
There’s an old woman, across from the pair of you, sitting with her bags stacked high on her knees, who whispers under her breath to her husband about the joy of young love, and how gentle it can make a man.
And Gojo finds himself growing fond at the thought, humming sweetly as he looks at your sleeping face, and how calm you look when against his frame.
The trains goes through a tunnel, darkness permeating the car for a brief moment.
You shuffle in your seat as the darkness becomes light once more, waking slightly at the sudden change in brightness.
Your head is resting on something…warm?
You blink slowly, taking in your surroundings before gazing up, alarm juxtaposing your peace.
You spring off his shoulder, eyes wide with concession.
“Oh my God!” You splutter out, your face burning with chagrin, your hands raising as if pleading for mercy.
Your relationship with Gojo is complicated already, you hate to make things more confusing than they need to be.
“I’m sorry!” You say, “I didn’t realise I-”
He cuts you off with a small shake of his head, a large hand reaching over to gently push your head back onto his shoulder, a chuckle leaving him as he does so.
“Relax.” He grins, and it’s the softest you’ve ever heard him speak, “If you’re tired, sleep. I’ll not stop you.”
And you breathe out and in, Gojo can feel it on his neck, trying not to shiver at the closeness of your breath.
“You don’t mind?” You whisper out, at last, unable to peer back up at him.
The hand that pushed you back to him trails down to rest on your waist, curling in to trace patterns on your skin. It makes you feel warm, and you bury your face deeper into his shoulder.
“Nah.” He replies simply, his voice sounding contemplative, as if coming to a realisation he had not yet realised he had to perceive.
And when he leaves a soft kiss on the top of your head, you feel yourself melt, feelings of confusion and any thought of hesitancy dissipating in the feeling of his delicate kiss.
“Not at all.”

dad gojo satoru
the best father for his bundle of joy, He was so excited when you were born and loves taking funny pictures of you.
never gets tired of watching you grow and is always there to support you and give you a helping hand. He's the perfect role model and always gives you wise advice when you need it.
Since you were still a newborn, he had made himself a promise to always protect you from harm.
“Hey, shh don’t cry dad’s here.” He mumbles softly, over you reaching down and sliding his head under your head supporting it along with the rest of your body.
You layed in your bassinet, a small mobile attached to the side, wailed and tossed around for a few moments. Before Gojo cradling you close as he cooed to you, before sitting in the rocking chair to ease you to sleep for a while, as your crying was died down soon after.
Soft snoring filled the room as he slowly placed you in the bassinet, turning on the mobile as you slept away, the music soothing and lulling you to more deep sleep.
He couldn’t wait to spoil you.
As he watches over you for a moment, he is thinking that soon enough you will be walking, and he will be celebrating your first birthday with you, as he can just imagine you covered in cake smashed all over your face in frosting as you are celebrating your first birthday.
gojo couldn’t wait to see future with his child.
He keeps a small time keeps book for you filled with all your baby stuff and funny pictures he took of you doing the most embarrassing faces/things to look back on in the future.
He could not help but cry as he took you to your first day of kindergarten, he wasn't quite ready to let go of you yet, but he will eventually have to, he thinks of the little drawings and more you would bring him for him to see.
He just loves being a dad for you so much..

Gojo x wife!reader | fluff, bittersweet, comfort
Warnings: CHAPTER 236 SPOILERS, reader is dead
Word Count: 1.1k
Summary: Gojo Satoru finally gets to reunite with his wife after umm yknow bc they’re both in a specific place after chapter 236… don’t wanna spoil notin…
≿————-——————— ༻✧༺ ——————————-≾
“Satoru.”
As soon as he hears your voice, Gojo’s eyes widen and he’s immediately fumbling to find the source of it. The one he lost those years ago.
His wife.
Gojo Satoru always thought that when a sorcerer dies, they die alone. So why is it that after seeing Suguru and everyone else, he sees you? He guesses that when his students depart the living world, they’ll realize that their teacher was wrong. How pathetic. Truly. And if it wasn’t for the circumstances in front of him, Gojo would be chuckling to himself. Maybe it’s okay to be wrong because right now, you’re in front of him.
“Y/n…” Your sweet eyes meet his cerulean ones.
“Yes, my love?” You’re smiling at him, almost as if the time you two had spent apart were nothing. As if the love he felt for you never ceased. As if the years of your life he failed to let you have were never a thing. But Gojo feels everything. He feels the day he lost you. The way he let his guard down and lost someone precious to him. The one he loved. The day he realized that his life was just a series of unfortunate events. And he’s left there, baffled, that despite the time that’s passed, he’s here with you now, and he really thinks to himself that he should have departed sooner.
“Come here, Satoru.” You’re opening up your arms, welcoming Gojo to come and feel you again. To reminisce what he had lost.
When he sees you standing there, queuing for him, youthful as the day you two met, he’s fumbling to close the distance between you two, to feel you again, to feel your sweet face that he’s missed so much, to feel your warmth. He falls to his knees, wrapping his arms around your waist.
You’re enveloping him in your arms, tenderly stroking his head, combing your hands through his soft tufts of hair. A bittersweet expression painting his face that he gets to see you as your youthful self after all those years apart. Gojo can’t help it, tears begin slipping down his youthful face. The teen Gojo you fell in love with when you both were naive to the veracities of the world was in front of you again.
His tears are falling rapidly, and you tilt his head up to look at him with all the love that you weren't able to offer him when you two were together… –alive. His eyes tinted a light hue of pink, yet his face remained beautiful as always, and he’s tightening his grip on your waist, as if afraid to lose you again. His glossy eyes really accentuated his beauty, his eyes, something only Gojo’s could be capable of. His eyes harbored so much love and adoration for you, and your eyes reflected the same for him, as always.
Only you could ever make Gojo feel the way he does for you.
He really does love you. Truly.
“I missed you.”
You’re cupping his face, tenderly rubbing your thumb against his cheek, feeling the heat that it radiates, and Gojo can’t stop himself from staring into your young face with adoration and relief. How nostalgic it felt to see you in your youth again.
“I missed you too, Satoru.”
He’s back with you.
And suddenly, you’re both giggling. A light laughter that wipes all the regrets that Gojo has ever had when he couldn’t be with you. When he was forced to depart from you. But it’s a laugh that isn’t awkward nor forced. Not one to mask the gloom of the situation, but one that allows both you and Gojo to release the tension from having spent so much time apart, allowing you both to feel the intimacy of the moment.
And you're bringing Gojo back up on his feet, daintily pulling him up by his biceps so that he can meet your face again, but he keeps his grip strong on your waist, keeping you close to ensure that he has you. To ensure that you won’t leave him.
Just as playful as your laughter with Gojo was, you teasingly ask him, “How was Sukuna?”
You couldn’t see Gojo’s face that was tucked in your neck, but you just knew his expression had soured. He nuzzles his neck deeper within your crevice, tightening his hold on your waist, and mumbles curtly, almost childishly, “I don’t wanna talk about it.”
Geto eggs him from afar, “he didn’t put up a good fight.” He snickers at Gojo from afar, to which you could feel Gojo pout even more. Those two really were something else, but suddenly, Gojo bursts out,
“He’s crazy strong!” He’s glaring at Geto from afar, with that gummy pull back of his lips when he talks about something he doesn’t like. “He wasn’t even fighting at his max!?” He sighs exasperatedly, puffing out one of his cheeks. And gosh, did you think that he was the cutest thing right now.
“But you put up a good fight, right?” You’re smiling sweetly at him, more focused at the fact that he’s in front of you again, rubbing your hands gently back and forth across his arms.
“Of course I did!” Gojo acts offended that you apparently doubted him, but he does it just to get a kick out of the situation.
“I’m the strongest after all.” And he does that stupid signature smirk of his, indicating that Gojo didn’t go down without a fight. You’re sure of it.
As lighthearted as his words come off though, you know that Gojo has always felt alone. So alone that even with you by his side, he’s always felt a sense of loneliness. One that no one could ever truly understand. Because being the strongest meant that he harbored the pressure of the title.
—To be the pillar of strength for Jujutsu.
Even those nights in which he fumbled with his words, trying so hard, with hiccups in his voice, trying to explain to you the isolation he felt, he was never able to get out the words, the forlorness that he felt. All you could do was sit there, holding him close as tears fell down his handsome face, trying to comfort him, trying to understand the desolation your husband was blessed with as the strongest.
You’re reminiscing the bitter memory, one that makes you sigh sadly. “But you don’t have to carry the burden of that title anymore, Satoru.” And at your comment, Gojo’s eyes widened, shocked by your words, but the realization sinks in.
You were right.
He no longer had those responsibilities to anchor. He no longer existed in the world that needed the strongest.
You tenderly wipe a falling tear of his. “You can rest now, my love.” You smile back at him warmly.
If your love didn't exist on earth, Gojo had hoped to see it elsewhere. Maybe in heaven, and he does. Because you’re in front of him, his wife, so he nuzzles closer to you, resting his head against your neck, placing soft kisses against your smooth skin.
The strongest can rest now.
≿————-——————— ༻✧༺ ——————————-≾
Notes: this is my coping mechanism. I’m now going through the stage of bargaining bc I hope he’ll come back bc his neck wasn’t cut off, like how he came back from his death with Toji bc Toji was stupid and didn’t cut his head off…

THE SCENT OF PANCAKES
cont. gojo x reader, comfort..? fluff?? use of love. reader experiencing the scare of losing a loved one. living together!au, intentional lowercase.
a/n. okay i tried making this a toothrotting fluff but this is what i managed. it’s angst laced comfort fluff. ps: gojo’s alive in this one. source: trust me bro
Tumblr media
you stirred in your sleep, the sensation of emptiness on one side of the bed pulling you from your dreams. groggily, you reached out, expecting to find the comforting warmth of satoru's embrace, but your hand felt nothing but empty space.
in your half-asleep haze, you mumbled his name, wondering if he had slipped out of bed early, perhaps to wash up. but as you tried to call out to him many times, there was no response, no familiar hum of his presence in the room.
your eyes blinked open, and a wave of unease washed over you as you realised that satoru's side of the bed was immaculately untouched. it was as if no one had ever slept there before. panic began to creep in as you sat up, your heart pounding with dread.
you blinked, rubbing your eyes in disbelief, hoping that this was just a strange dream. but the room remained eerily empty.
with trembling hands, you swung your legs over the side of the bed and reached for your robe, determined to find him. your mind raced with irrational thoughts, and you stumbled toward the bathroom.
in your groggy state, you half-expected to find satoru standing at the sink, washing up as he often did in the mornings. but when you pushed open the bathroom door, it was empty, the tiles cold and devoid of life.
a strangled gasp escaped your lips, and you whispered, “oh no. is he… gone?”
in that agonising moment, you were overcome with a profound sense of loss, as if the very air had been sucked out of the room. you couldn't bear the thought of him being absent from your life.
you ran out from the bathroom, ignoring the disorientation and the throbbing pain as you slipped and fell to the floor in your haste, your urgency to find him overriding grace. you rushed to the bedroom door, your trembling hand reaching for the doorknob.
just as your fingers brushed the cold metal, the door swung open, revealing satoru on the other side. his expression shifted from surprise to deep concern as he took in your appearance.
“love?” he asked, his voice laced with worry. “are you okay?”
you couldn't find your voice immediately, your heart still pounding with fear. but upon seeing him in the doorway, wearing a teddy bear apron and his signature sunglasses, a rush of relief washed over you.
“oh,” you finally whispered, unable to hold back the tears that welled up in your eyes. “thank god.”
satoru stepped into the room, his concern deepening as he noticed your trembling form. “what's wrong? are you okay? did you fall and hit anywhere?” his love and care were evident in his voice.
you didn't hear his questions, your immediate response being to wrap your arms around him tightly, burying your face in his chest. “i thought you were gone,” you choked out, your voice muffled against his shirt. “again.”
satoru was taken aback for a moment, his concern giving way to understanding. his hand ran through your hair, gently rubbing circles on your back.
his other hand found its way to your waist, holding you securely as if assuring you that he was real and present. the scent of pancakes lingered on his apron, and you realised that he had been in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.
“i’m right here, love,” he whispered, his voice soothing and reassuring. “i’m not going anywhere. you don't have to worry.”
satoru held you close, his embrace reassuring and unwavering. he could feel the rapid beat of your heart, the fear and relief that had flooded your senses.
leaning down, he placed a gentle kiss on your forehead, his lips warm and soft against your skin. it was a kiss filled with love and devotion, a silent promise of his unwavering commitment.
“i’m not going anywhere anymore,” he whispered, his voice tender. “i’ll always be with you.”
Tumblr media
am currently lacking the capabilities to write a toothrotting fluff. satoru's incident affected me so much i can't write a single happy fic. i also need satoru to tell me that he's real and it's all just a dream, and that he's still alive and well
