Victory Candelabra

The second candelabra I mentioned, recently, which I've converted to candles!

This is another one of AnniQ's which I cannot find the original post!

She named it "The Golden Torch", with no other information, but after some reverse image searching, I found that the statue is Victory!

The first thing that I learned to do was to make candles off the grid - it doesn't make sense that electricity is needed for CANDLESSS; I converted candles/candelabras/chandeliers which had candles, but also some with bulbs that I really liked, and wished had candles. This is one of those I have had for ages, and have finally got to converting from bulbs to candles.

There's three swatches, which are original to the piece. Other than the candles, I adjusted how it's lit as well - before, the white and blue shone really bright!

true delulu is hoping that they will introduce more masked people in the paralympics opening and closing ceremonies or bring back some of the old ones /j golden voyager is a bit hard to draw for me- wasnt completely sure how to transfer the design over to my art style... this is how he looks for now but i might change it in the future as i get better at drawing him! in general, im still trying to get the hang of drawing these characters, as i keep going they will start looking better haha

I'll elaborate a little further: it happens when the son and daughter are a little older (he's supposed to be 16-ish or something). Some shit is going down in Beast-Yeast and they sneak off to try to deal with it themselves, because they've got a mix of that genuine desire to protect others and fight bad guys, and that "I am young, therefore I am invincible and all-knowing" mentality that all kids and teens curse us with.

It does not go well.

Burning Spice realizes they're gone too late and does not reach them in time to stop what happens.

They both live, of course. But it's clear they bit off more than they could chew. The son especially. And boy, does he pay the price for that pride and self-righteousness.

Let's say he... loses something important. And unlike his mother when she lost her own "something important", he doesn't get his back.

(He eventually overcomes this and comes back better than ever I promise ok please don't hurt me-)

Torch is so strong and soft...I focus on Clancy a lot but I can never forget how much I love this man either. He's the best <3
