"Its fine."

"Still, I..." Daniela paused, unconsciously flitting around where Donna was hunched over Angie. She wasn't used apologizing. She wasn't used to regretting her actions.

It was also Angie's fault though. Even if Daniela provoked her, the doll knew she couldn’t actually consume any food. It was dumb of her to try and now they were all suffering for it.

"Daniela, sit down, you're distracting me." Donna's words were soft, they always were, but that didn't stop Daniela from reflexively recoiling like the woman had shouted. She quickly landed in the chair on the other side of the table, shoulders hunched and generally looking like a miserable puppy.

Donna could barely see out of her peripheral, but the fly woman seemed to radiate her misery, compelling Donna to look up and sigh.

"I'm not mad, I promise. In fact, I'm glad that this is all you two got up to." The potential for chaos when these two put their heads together was immeasurable. Cleaning out Angie's head was tiresome, but it was a task that Donna had to do periodically anyway.

Daniela folded her arms on the table and hid her chin behind them. Donna's image of her as a sad canine only grew stronger. "Yea?"

Donna reached over and threaded her fingers through Daniela's hair, giving in to the urge to pet her. "Yes, dear. I would tell you if I was truly upset."

"Mm." Daniela caught Donna's hand and brought it to her lips. She peppered small kisses over the dollmaker's knuckles to return her affection. "Good."

I've had braces three separate times in my life, had my palate widened, had a tooth pulled into place because it was facing the wrong way, and had a permanent retainer placed and fall out a few years later.

I used to play the flute, though now I mostly use my abilities to blow on partly empty bottles and annoy the shit out of my sister.

I've got 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 ball python. They're all idiots and I love them so much. Though I wish they'd stop trying to one up each other with vet bills 😑

Favorite season:

Fall! Everything gets cooler, there's holidays, and also my birthday 🥳

North America, on the east coast of the United States

How I spend my time:

Reading, writing, and trying out crafts. I've done some casting and molding with silicone and I'm trying sculpting to make masters for casting. The problem is figuring out what to sculpt...
