Jinbe hates some devil fruits more than others

These include the horrifying Jacket Jacket fruit, Shibo Shibo No Mi, the wash wash fruit, and munch munch fruit (not because they are overpowered but because they are just horrifying in there own unique way)

Power Food To The Rescue

Even if the Munch Munch/Baku Baku No Mi would have fit him better, I totally see how the Gomu Gomu No Mi/Gum Gum Fruit has fit his personality of being a big eater.
